[Q] [I9505] Daydream Photo Frame does not display Google+ photos - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I'm trying to have Daydream Photo Frame display my Google+ photos on a S4 (stock Samsung ROM, UBMGA). It's said in https://support.google.com/nexus/4/answer/2818748?hl=en that "Photo Frame presents a slideshow of photos on your device or Google+ account. ".
My account is correctly synced, but when I try to click on the little gears icon next to the Photo Frame selector, I only get a black screen.
If I take a picture with my phone, it appears there, but I'd like to use my Google+ photos instead of local ones.
Does anyone know if Samsung removed that functionnality from their ROM, or if there's something I should do to make it work?
Thanks.

[Q] Gallery Pictures as Wallpaper

When I browse in my Gallery it shows all the folders that I have locally as well as all my Google+ folders and on other devices I've been able to simply click on one of those images and set it as a Wallpaper. Now that I've got the GS4, I don't seem to be able to do this any longer and when I go through the Wallpaper settings to choose a picture it only allows me to use local images (same for contact images). Is there any way to change how this behaves?
Also, is there a fix for the weird treatment of landscape pictures (rotating them)?
Thanks.

Gallery - Photos options

Hello. Today when I wanted to open picture taken from camera I got pop up window asking me do I want to open that picture via Gallery or Photos (apps) when I've chosen Photos it asked me "Only this time" or "Always" I clicked Always. Now it's opening pictures from camera in Photos app. How to revert, to change to open it via Gallery? Because in Photos app the pictures aren't full screen and Hover option doesn't work in it.

[HELP] Front camera photo weird text problem

I took some photos with the front camera using the front camera from SnapIt app in the stock vibe UI 3.0. While clicking the photo, there was some text in Chinese that appeared on the screen. I thought it was the name of some shooting mode sort of thing and that it'll not appear in the final photograph. To my dismay, though, after I had clicked the photographs, I saw that all of them have that weird text written over them. In a few photos that text is even covering up faces. I need to know if there is a way to remove this text from these photos and restore the faces. Using photo editors, I have only been able to get as far as cropping the text or if some of the photos. Nothing more. Please help me immediately.
Thanks.
Sharing a couple of sample photos would help identifying the exact problem.

Home screen wallpaper cropping

So, in the android nougat days of the v20, in the gallery app you could crop photos when you set them as your wallpaper AND be able to use entire photos, But after updating to oreo it only has the crop option from google photos app, Which cuts off a majority of the photos when you set as wallpaper, a photo i previously used on my homescreen now somehow doesn't fit? Is there any way to get back the crop feature in gallery instead of the stupid google photos app??
Thanks..
