G2 is $9.99 at Cellhub

For anyone who's still lurking but has yet to pick up their own G2:
I found a site called Cellhub dot com. They have the G2 on sale for ten bucks with a new line or adding a new line. This deal doesn't involve a rebate. So, no forms to mail in.
The site deals only in T-mobile products and has only been around for a few months. Did some poking around to check their credentials. There are a few reviews to be found. They seem legit. Just put in my own order, so I guess I'll be able to confirm or deny their legitimacy in a week or two.
UPDATE: Everything went fine. The site is legit. Also, the G2 is now going for free with a new line.
To further specify: I added a line so that my fiancee could finally move off my old G1 and get her own G2.
Moving from the loyalty unlimited voice and grandfathered G1 data with 400 text. (~$75/mo) to Family Plan w/ 3000 minutes, unlimited text, and a discounted unlimited data pack for ~$130/mo.
Almost seems too good to be true. So, again, I'll let you know how it works out for me.

Should have just got it for free for valentines weekend from t mobile

Thought about it. However, the G2 involved a mail-in-rebate from the store with $200 up front. The online offer is only $10 without the need for a rebate.
Difference of $190 out of pocket.

What's the discounted data package?
I currently have four lines on my account, but two lines are currently free until 2012. I have two G2s and currently pay $30 for each line. But I do only however have 750 minutes, opposed to 3,000 because I signed up prior to that 3000 minutes deal. I pay about $139.99 before taxes already. How does yours come out?
I priced it two ways before pulling the trigger.
First, I added the 1500 minute voice for $79/mo. It didn't include texting. On the next page, Service Add ons, unlimited texting was offered for $10 and unlimited data for $30. The data and text packages had descriptions specifying that they applied to all the phones on the plan.
So,
79
10
30
___
119/mo
They offered the 3000 minutes and unlimited texting for $109/mo. Next page offered unlimited data for $20. Same message about applying to all lines. The word "each" is nowhere in sight. I checked it again. Ran the same plan in a new browser window. Tried it with other voice plans. Only the 3000 + texting plan offered the $20 data plan.
So,
109
20
___
129/mo
I guess they're really trying to push the 3000 plan.
I checked my order status. Tracking number. It was processed this afternoon and is already on a Fed Ex truck/plane leaving NY for TX. Estimated delivery is Wednesday (Feb 16).
PS. Creepiest part of check-out is that they run a credit check. Never had an online retailer do that before, so I freaked out when they asked for my social security number. Did a lot of checking before I decided to trust/gamble.
Hopefully, I trusted correctly and I'll be rooting my fiancee's G2 by Friday. Either way, I'll let you guys know. Better a cautionary tale than an unknown fool.

Had Costco's online Wireless Advocates site do a credit check prior to confirming the orders as well.
And that's really interesting. I wonder if it's different since you have two lines and I have four lines.
I got my own G2 through Wireless Advocates. They didn't check my credit, but they did check with T-mobile to make sure I qualified for an upgrade. Cellhub didn't ask for my T-mobile info until after the credit check.

The G2 arrived today. Everything seems to have gone down well.
Only note: Had to add a data plan back to my line as the $20 data only covered the new G2. So, 109 + 20 + 20 = 149 + taxes and fees for the monthly plan.
So, I can endorse Cellhub as being legit. Laughingly, G2s are now free through Cellhub. My impatience cost my $10.
Go get'em.
I bought it for free on cellhub.com. It is legit!

[Q] Can anyone confirm what Verizon charges monthly in taxes and fees for the XOOM?

I hate to bother people with this but I can't seem to find this information anywhere online and I don't know anyone with a XOOM personally.
The reps at the verizon store are telling me that the XOOM could cost me an extra 15 a month in taxes fees and surcharges on just a 20 dollar plan in Georgia. Is there any truth at all to this or are these guys nuts?
What are you guys paying extra every month?
I don't know about "extra". I only have one device on Verizon right now -- the XOOM. I started with a MiFi about 18 months ago and replaced it with the XOOM last week. To activate it I called Verizon. they switched me to the tablet plan and said it's the same price. Now, I haven't gotten a bill yet but I'm on a 3GB plan and it's been costing me $35/month. With a 22% discount from my employer, the total is $27.38. That's what I expect the price to be when I get my bill. VZW online shows that price, too.
HTH
EDIT: Maybe I completely misread your post. Nonetheless, I hope it's useful ... to you or someone
Nope.
Negative. You will be looking at the standard ~12.9% (this changes slightly almost daily it seems) on your monthly bill. I am employed by VZW's biggest authorized premium indirect agent. Let me know if you have any further questions regarding pricing or the tablet. Take care.
I don't know the monthly taxes fees and surcharges, but I noticed that Verizon's charging me for any text messages sent to my Xoom's number.
And the Xoom can't even send or receive SMS messages! That's pretty nervy.
I'm in GA as well, MidGA at that and my taxes and fees jump my bill up $7 dollars (35 dollar plan, 42 dollar bill)
Yea it was less than $3 for 1 month plus a prorated week on the $20 plan.

15% off Prepaid phone plans StraightTalk Tmobile, also XBox Live

I just successfully added 4 months worth of StraightTalk $45 unlimited plans at $38.24 (15% off) without tax. This is the best prepaid plan deal I've seen by far. That's roughly $10/month saving compared to Walmart price. They also have Virgin, T-mobile and Xbox refills. I only use StraightTalk though. Quantity limited so stock up.
