u should download the x10 model file that is about 40 mega byte and install from pc with panda suite ...
and attention that u have to uninstall the data sd card and the game u've installed ...
the problem will be solved

Use this update for xRecovery. Don't forget about nandroid backup before flashing it.

that option is not working from v 2.4 , i've test it on new one . 2.4.2 . not wworking again .
but it worked perfectly on v 2.3
what is the problem ??? is there any setting for that !

Did you try resetting the key mappings in settings after update?
Just tested on 2.4.1, works perfectly. Must be a config issue.

yes. i have created new profile for my hardware configuration . all buttons working fine , but directions not working
but i can do it easily on 2.2 , 2.3
only on 2.4.1 and 2.4.2 !!! i don't know !! so you friends confirm that is working on your xperia play with 2.4.1 !
what king of configure do i need ?

i had this problem from last week till now , but now !
i just downgrade to 2.3.1 , then upgrade to 2.4.1 ==> test the game ==> it working !!!!!!!!!!!
then upgrade to 2.4.2 ==> it working !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try hiding your keyboard before assigning the directional buttons. I had this issue on another emulator. If your keyboard supports directional keys to move the cursor, the app looking for your input to see which key to assign does not get the right response. Just hide the keyboard (pressing Back button one time does this usually).
Don't forget to assign directional buttons to D-pad and also to "Analog stick"
