I don't know if this has been posted before but i'm going to share it.
This tweak/patch makes the Graphics look so much better but with a bit of lag. :/
It adds blur effect, reflection, more cars and pedestrians.
Install Instructions
1.Download the File
2.Make a backup of your original Profile.bin just incase you want to switch back.
3.Copy the modified Profile.bin to \Android\obb\com.gameloft......GloftGGHM and you're done!
EDIT: Seeder helps reduce the lag a bit.

Yeah but, some people wouldn't of known that this tweak even existed so they would of never bothered searching on Google. So i guess they just found out about it because of this thread

Yeah, but the link I gave you is a link to another thread located on xda-developers too, not a random link on Google, so people who found out with your thread could have found out with the other thread, bumped if needed.

The Galaxy S3 users would not have gone searching through the Galaxy Tab 10.1 forum to find something that works on the S3.
All the threads in Galaxy Tab sub-forum are related to Galaxy Tab and therefore a Galaxy S3 user has nothing to do there because most of the ROMS/Kernels/tweaks will not work for S3. That leads them into searching on the S3 Sub-forum where they can find the mods that work for Galaxy S3.

Hey guys I've noticed that a lot of people are reporting bugs and asking for help in Designgears' "[Tech Demo] Gingerbread for Captivate Build-4 (experimental) | CyanogenMod 7 Alpha 2" thread, which is something that he's requested not to happen. Just figured I'd start a user discussion thread so people can post bugs/issues and hopefully get support for it.

The thread doesn't necessarily pertain exclusively to the update.zips, but rather to the work being done on Gingerbread and CM7 as a whole. I understand that designgears just packaged the work done by supercurio and others into an update.zip, but that in itself is valuable, as it is easier for the people who have trouble doing all the adb commands and such. On top of that, support offered here is still relevant to people who have installed it via supercurio's method. Having this thread here makes it easier for everybody who has installed Gingerbread or CM7 on their Captivate to get help with either of these two projects.
P.S. I'm sorry, I understand that this thread probably belongs in General, so mods please feel free to move it if you see fit
Its not my position to say what belongs where but I'm glad to have this thread. I would still be running gb but had a cpl issues. My phone wouldn't go into landscape mode for one and youtube videos I was only getting sound no video.
Maybe issues everyone is having maybe not. Can't wait until it's done but I will keep trying each build. Thanks for the thread and happy holidays to all.

Designgears IS NOT working on the bugs. Read his posts. Supercurio and some others are. I'm sure they know the bugs. They also read these forums. Just let them work out the kinks. They'll get there. Or you could always code it yourself
Anyway, I hope to see a stable release soon!

I am looking for that thread that shows a step by step on how to get your phone setup like specific examples. What i am looking for mainly in that thread is there is a bunch of screen shots of widgets and their names. for instance there is like one dedicated page to battery icons etc... i cant seem to find it anymore. can anyone help!

However, a user has uploaded a flashable zip that does all the work!

Flash the zip and you "should" be good to go. I was at least.
You can use the "search" captivate key to access google now.

You know, I was browsing around the forums yesterday...and I found xrider's thread and I felt like such a A-hole for
making another thread after he already made one. It didn't even dawn on me to post this in the app section, so before I posted it I searched around the general section and didn't find any thread like this....I was thinking about it as more of a feature, but no, no...its definitely an app.

If everybody started doing this, it'd be kind of ridiculous here... Unstoppable flooding of threads that should be replies... However, I guess it would at least it'd make it SEEM like things were moving a little faster in the HD7 forum.

Any Roms with same style as NeatRom?
All CM11 or similar Roms looks like crap and has always look that way then i found NeatRom for my gf S2 and hope for similar to Note 3.
Plus many futured are missing

Actually i was polite and reported it to get it in the correct section and i did use NeatRom on my Galaxy S2 so the most likely rom is probably this one, which i am using now:

Not that I need to justify anything I do to you but! The reason I didn't advise him was because I don't know NeatRom it is one I've never used or been interested in trying. So I couldn't give him any decent answer I just wanted to let him know he was in the wrong place before certain people on here got very upset as they tend to do here over nothing!
