Portable Power Bank Battery charger or Extra battery with charger? - Galaxy S III General

Hi all!
I want to know what is the most convenient device to use? Extra battery with charger or 5200mAh Portable power bank battery charger (Romoss)? I like to use a light widget device.
Thanks!

I'm sure you can figure out which is more convenient for your usage, let's face it, we haven't got a clue as to how you use your phone, you have!

Looking for Cradle with ability to charge an extra battery.

Has anybody found a Universal cradle that allows you to charge the Universal and an extra battery at the same time? Any other suggestions on how to charge an extra battery? Thanks

Battery/Power options?

What are you guys doing for alternate power? I'm hoping they release the extended battery/case accessory soon! This short battery life is killing me....
Some options I currently use or consider:
1. charger at work, car, bedroom, office
2. looking into an external battery pack option
3. Seidio 1750 mAh battery (how much time would this really give you? only 250 mAh more...)
Most of these are ok as alternatives, but I rather not leave my phone tethered to an outlet at all times... also, a plug isn' t an option when I'm out all day (which is why I'm considering the battery pack)...
I would consider myself a HEAVY user. My Evo currently lasts from 9-1PM for me. I use all the common apps, such as ATK (pretty religiously), bluetooth off, GPS off when not in use, etc...
Just an example, but from Friday to Sunday, Sprint reported I used about 85MB of data....
Aside from the battery, I love the phone.
I've got my spare battery from my Hero. I keep it charged and with me at all times. Haven't even needed it once, yet.
Thought I am still conditioning - backlight off, GPS/BT on when needed, WiFi is always off for me anyways.
Micro USB cable at home, car charger, and micro USB cable at work.

Portable battery charger?

So i have this original n7100 battery that i want to find a use for, and my gf has a low budget samsung phone(and i have a spare charger for her phone) that is always out of battery, and i was thinking if i could just cut the cord of the charger and connect to the spare battery, the output of the charger is 4.75v 0.55A, the spare battery is 3.8v 3.8A, her phone battery is 3.7v and 0.7A
Is it possible or would it be easyer to just mod her phone to use the spare battery to act as the main power source? Then would it be possible to get a transistor to act as battery switcher so she could just unplug the spare battery (i would just create a connection port on her phone)
Saturday night and i can't go out so i really need a project

sory, that text is a little bit confusing for me, but you have to check correct volateg and amparage, lowering voltage and amp, is easy, the reverse is a little harder.
try this way
hi,
use otg adapter and connect to the note. then take charge/data cable and connect the cable to the adapter and the other end with yours girlfriend phone. under 5V there is no worry. maybe you unplugg your phone and there ´s still the charge sign. then u have to restart your phone. but i dont think that will happen.
cheers
 Maybe Your Rom make Pin drain so fast

Yes, this is entirely possible. But you're not going to find someone who can say how much work it will be to make it happen unless they've done it themselves. These lithium batteries need control circuitry to charge and discharge correctly. I'd try to use the battery to drive something else (like an LED and resistor) first to see if you can get it to work. If there's not built-in circuitry to prevent that, it my work for the phone too.

Power to prevent battery drain question

I tried googling this but could not find anything. Does anyone know the power needed to keep the Turbo 2 from having the battery drained when running with the screen on full time?
With my Turbo 1 I was using an older Blackberry wall plug in my Jeep's power outlet and that was good enough to keep the phone at the same battery level while running Waze(as in, no battery drain, but also not charging).
With the Turbo 2 it is slowly draining using the same wall power supply.
I was wondering if anyone knew the minimum power I would need to keep the screen up 100% of the time, like when running Waze? It can be any form of power supply since I have a plug in outlet in the Jeep, as well as cigarette outlets and USB.
I could easily use the charger that came with it, but it pulls 25w which is a little much and can cause car battery issues over the long run, which I am trying to prevent.
I use charger for cigarette outlet with 1 A output. If screen is off, charges phone. If is on, keeps on the same level or charges slowly. Real amperage depends of the usage, screen brightness, etc. Of course, you can always use ammeter and measure exact current in the specific condition.
You can Buy the motorola turbo charger for car. I bought the moto X Force here in Best Buy México, and it came for free. Maybe it can solve your problem.

power bank not charging

I buy power bank Platinet 5200mAh input 5V/2A output 5V/2.1A ,when I connect power bank to phone nothing happen, is problem in phone settings or..something else?
Anyone have some problems like this ?
Disassemble the power bank and measure the batteries. If they are ok, but maybe the charging port/the control electronic circuit are broken, buy a cheap power box from aliexpress or ebay (or whatever you want) and solder the batteries (accu's) on to it.
Or you can buy a DIY power bank case (box) - it's 4-5 USD on aliexpress and do it your self.
How to do is it on youtube.
And you can learn something new
Does the powerbank charge any other devices? Have you tried using another USb cable?
Its ok now..
Iam so stupid that i forgot to charge power bank first when I came home from store.. ..
My stupid mistake..
Its working ,power bank is 5200mAh and I can use it for one full and other maybe half charge of phone...
One more question about power bank, when I fully charged power bank, and left it.
After How menu days power bank will be useful and can charged my phone?
One day, two? Or I must charge the power bank before I go to trip and I can use it only that day when my phone battery is empty,or Is there any chance that I can use Power bank the day after that I charged it?
How many days power bank saves energy?
Think of it as just another battery, because that's what it is. In other words, you can use it whenever you want as long as it has charge.
When it's full it will be able to charge other batteries to the limit of it's capacity. For example it's a 5200mah power bank and let's say you have a 2600mah phone battery, it will be able to charge it twice before needing to be recharged itself.
The only times you need to wait are when it's recharging. Like any battery, charge it whenever you can, don't let it run too low etc.
That power bank just dont have enough Voltage to start charging my phone..
I just sold that and bay another with 10000mAh that have two usb conectors for charging two fone, also have fast charging and its nice,I like it..
And also is a cheap 16$
