Anyone develops using air-based Flash? - IDEs, Libraries, & Programming Tools

Hi, I'm new here, just curious if anyone had any experience with flash-based development.
Would be nice to have a thread for flash based developers.

[Q]Compiling AOSP for specific device - basic driver question

Please forgive my noobness to this subject.
I have set up my build environmetn (almost) and was originally going to compile CM7 from source, but this is not really what I want. I just want to compile an AOSP rom from google source for the HTC desire.
I have the latest drivers from the latest 2.3 leaked rom in a flashable zip format.
Can I just compile the AOSP rom for Nexus one (similar hardware) and flash the drivers afterwards or do they need to be compiled with the source?
I am very new to this and have been trawling the web for a few days but can't seem to find the right answer for this.
Please could someone point me in the right direction?
<Edit> I have been looking at this http://source.android.com/source/building-devices.html</edit>
I haven't posted this in the desire development forum as its not really the right place, but don't feel Desire Q&A is relevant either.
Thanks in advance

[Q] Any Dev's/Testers/Themers etc (NEW ROM TEAM)

Hi All,
I've been working on a Nexus ROM and would really like to get a few team mates to help me really push the ROM and get it to a stage which is viable for public release.
I'm looking for a team as follows:
Devs:
Could do with a joint lead dev to work alongside me.
Perhaps a dev or two working on things such as Aroma/scripts/Build.prop etc.
Themer:
Only really need one themer
Perhaps a GFX designer?
Testers:
Need one LEAD tester, which will get the test ROM FIRST!!!!
Maybe a second tester to make sure?
Anybody interested in joining my team and creating another wonderful ROM?
Thanks all,
Wilks3y.

[Q] How to do the porting of Firefox OS?

Hi all, I'm very curious about porting an OS to a device born for another OS. I' d like to know which are the pre-requisites. I define me as an expert noob, because I'm a student and I don't know 'nothing' (IMHO), so I'd like to learn about this topic and I'd like to help someone to port firefox OS to another phone (especially wave and mini2, I have this two phone at the moment).
Hope the someone could clear my ideas
Thank you.
Here's the official guide on the Mozilla website:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US...tlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Firefox_OS/Porting
Good luck
Well, the wave was born with bada, but there's the porting of Android 4, can I use that kernel? What else I have to modify? Something in the kernel used in Android of Wave + config.sh ??
While for the mini2 the porting is as every android?

I can't really say, since I'm not a dev or anything, just hoped that the guide would help you.
Try to search on this page:
https://developer.mozilla.org/ru/docs/Mozilla/Firefox_OS
Maybe you'll find something else useful
On my persona note - I guess that Mozilla presumes that you already have Android on your device, so perhaps you should base the port on system-important elements like the kernel on the Android-side
OK I'll study hard hoping to do something good for the community. If someone have some advice for me, write here please

Hello
I can help by giving some innovative features thought . something like Sony have done. Like stamina mod, xperia theme engine, HTC blink feed, Samsung multi window. Can't help with code.
Sure. We'd love feedback from you and others, but the above incentives are for developers only.
Can we make a OEM rom Sony?
We have kernel sources. ROM related stuff we have xperia e3 stock ROM. Will it possible to port xperia kernel from xperia e3.

He's not talking about porting.............He means build a new ROM from scratch.............With CM as the base
I would recommend a rom name, Boost Rom. Don't know if it has been taken on not. And have the ability for themes as well? I don't know much code but I would like to be of help:0?Of course dev's only but I have some good ideas and I want to learn code. I have started to learn already and I have android studio. So what do you think. Could I give ideas and try to help on not?:|
Good luck anyway:~) Of coarse I will have to learn the basics. But if not I will still hit the thanks button:0 I have always wanted to make roms and be part of something as big as this, please

[Q] About Halium project

Hi, first of all, sorry if this is an stupid question, or if I'm underestimating the difficulty of porting this kinds of software, or if I'm saying something wrong.
I really like GNU/Linux mobile distros like Sailfish OS, Lune OS, Ubuntu Touch and Plasma Mobile, they use Halium for base for using our hardware, Is someone already trying to port Halium for our device or is there already an existing port? That would open a new world of OSs for our device.
If anyone hasn't ported Halium yet I could give it a try; However, I have 0 experience porting stuff, so I can promise nothing, I'm good using Linux and reading documentation and guides though, but I don't know if that will be enough.
Again, sorry if I'm underestimating the difficult of porting, if I'm saying something wrong and if I can't make myself understood.
Edit: I'm not actually working on the project because I haven't the phone. I did a progress when I had it, anyone interested in the project can PM if get stuck or need help or guide. Thanks for everything, great community.
