Also, since the gallery and camera are the same apk, they may not be transferable. Different sensors with different resolution support.

Been awhile since I've been on Android and n00b'd it up last night screwing with my phone. Hadn't made a backup and had to do a flash of the stock ROM losing everything. Saying that, I lost the Apollo music player app since it isn't in the Play store anymore. Does anyone have the latest version I could send to my phone? Everything I've found so far online has been from over the summer. Thanks!
I'm sure that if you do a Google search you can probably find the apk floating around...

Just extract the APK from the CM10 build:
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/get/jenkins/14161/cm-10-20121201-NIGHTLY-mako.zip
Then send the APK to your phone!

Samsung has taken out the screen recording feature on the latest JB firmware and that is useful to me. Can someone please upload the apk?

It is called Screencast. I also noticed this feature in one of the beta jellybean roms I tried. And also I had tried to extract the apk, but for some reason or maybe my lack of knowledge, that apk didn't work on other jellybean roms.
I would be happy if anyone can get the working apk of it.

Can you please share it? I will try it on mine.
It's not just an apk that you can take, there will be other files in the ROM related that are required to get it to work.
I've installed cm-10.1-20121221-NIGHTLY-mako.zip and gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip on my nexus4.
However, the camera and gallery app appear to be missing after doing this. I can still access camera from the lockscreen.
Is there a solution for getting the camera and gallery app back?

Verify that the packages exist in the ROM and gapps, and if they do, just reflash.

I see googlegallery.apk in /system/apps but it says "No Install" in the file explorer. Trying to install it also fails.
I have the same problem with my nexus 10 with cm10.1 rc1. Got a solution?

does someone knows where I can find the stock android Browser ? (not Chrome)
The one that is on most phones.
I tried to install the browser.apk from a ROM 2.3.6 of LG P920. But It won't install.
I'm on stock 4.2.2 no root
I found this thread with a quick search (which you should have done before posting). Try installing the .apk with a root explorer as suggested by the OP.
EDIT: Ironically I was the one who didn't read your post properly, sorry. Since you don't have root the above won't work.

Doesn't work. I can install, but It force close at launch.
I think It will be one reason to flash another ROM...

thats my peel.apk and samsungwatchon.apk, just updated from the market yesterday. This update was good, added support for things other than TV's. I tested with my Apple TV last night. Let me know if this works

Lol that not even v4.0.4 of WatchOn. yours is even worse at v4.0.1 than what I have installed. Anyway thanks for your link too.
The latest is v5.0.4 from the Google Play Store.

If you have titaniumbackup you can backup the apk plug your phone into usb on comp save apk on comp, then just side load it. i used OI Filemanger to locate where i saved the apk on my phone, check unknown sources and installed apk works like charm. i would uplaod the apk directly on here, but i cannot for some reason
