[Q] Why is there not a separate forum for the S4 Active? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

It would be good for those guys to get their own forum for Q&A, Dev, Gen, and Acessories, etc.
The same thing happened with the AT&T variant of the Tab 8.9 (i957) which had different hardware from the P73XX series 8.9 Samsung tabs. The forums got so diluted that it had to be done to separate them.

Maybe sub forum within our forum?
For the Galaxy Tab 2's they have Galaxy Tab 2 10" Android Development, Galaxy Tab 2 10" Android Original Development, Galaxy Tab 2 7" Android Development, and Galaxy Tab 2 7" Android Original Development in the main "Galaxy Tab 2" device section. Apps, general discussion were all shared. They did this as the 10 and the 7 had different hardware, but were common enough where they could still be grouped together as ROMs and such for each just required small modifications. Kind of like the S4 Active.

Maybe it will happen with there is dev support for it, but right now the Active isn't even rootable. There would not be enough content to justify a new forum.

I hope we get our own

Specialized active forum for Samsung Galaxy Tab?

Hi there,
Just would like to check with you all out there if you know of any specialized active forum for Samsung Galaxy Tab by users/enthusiasts?
For example, the Motorola Xoom has a thriving forum Xoom Forums(http://www.xoomforums.com) by users/enthusiasts.
Came across the The Galaxy Tab Forum (http://www.thegalaxytabforum.com) but there is even less activity there than in this forum.
Anyone?
Just wait until its released or at least people have it in hand. No nda etc.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
That galaxy forum may be geared towards the 7". Would be nice to see a 10" forum site, like www.galaxy10forums.com or something

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Off-Topic Thread

Hello guys, I think you guys lack some of an off-topic thread.
*Yes, I know there is an off-topic forum. BUT they are too "organized" and didn't have general topics. Like daily life, or whatever you want to talk here*
And, Yes. You can chit-chat about anything in this thread (Yes, Anything!), EXCEPT:
1. Anything refers to Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (Both 7" or 10")
2. Anything prohibited in the Global XDA Rules
So, welcome to this small off-topic thread.
As the opening:
The upcoming match of Manchester United vs Real Madrid seems interesting. What team will win, from your instinct?

Thread name suggestion

Hi everyone,
I recently moved from Note 1 (n7000) to s3 (i9300). On N7000 forum the community had a convention of marking TouchWiz UI based ROMs with "[TW]" and other tags like [AOSP], [PA] , [OMNI] etc. That made it really easy to skim through the forum. however here in i9300 forum I didn't notice any convention being followed, so it might be a good idea to make a rule about naming the threads.

Developer Edition Note 4 Device

I know this has already been posted, just like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-mobile have their own section and in each section there is the Original Development, Apps and Themes ect.....
MODS, please create a device
Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition
this has been mentioned before there isnt enough people with device to warrant a sub forum so it is staying together
Please search before posting. There are several threads on this already
And it makes no sense as there can be no development for the non-dev edition. Just label the threads properly
Just like a US Cellular thread, or any other smaller quantity, same hardware device
Thread closed
Thanks

What is the difference between the Galaxy Note 4 [Something] Development Forums?

As far as I know, the Galaxy Note 4 has Snapdragon and Exynos variants, and the roms for each of the platforms aren't compatible with each other. Because of that, I'm okay with
GALAXY NOTE 4 ANDROID DEVELOPMENT (SNAPDRAGON)
GALAXY NOTE 4 ANDROID DEVELOPMENT (EXYNOS)
However, there are also:
GALAXY NOTE 4 ORIGINAL ANDROID DEVELOPMENT
GALAXY NOTE 4 UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT
What's the difference of each one of them supposed to be?
Yup same question here.
What's the difference?
I want to retain the pen functionality when I switch to another rom so before I post a query could someone please point out the differences so I use the correct forum. I'm really surprised that each forum does not have a clear statement of intent which would have helped with basic questions like this.
