It does work, I signed up, got my £22, immediately cancelled the subscription and bought Life of Pi and Zero Dark Thirty with it. The only downsides are that you have to play the movies through the Video unlimited app, and there are no HD movies currently available for the Xperia. Other than that it's a good offer.

I entered my e-mailadres but never got it

Thanks for the confirmation

Said my code (that was given to me minutes before) was invalid or expired :silly:

Just discovered an odd wee thing. I had already registered my device and received the £22 when I was on stock .434. I flashed a new ROM on .253 and the app reset. I've just re-registered my handset using another email address and got another code! The Last of Us is on Sony!

Careful with that. They're logging IMEI's and chances are either one or all of the vouchers get removed from your SEN account.

Look at how many people Torrent through SPCS

Not entirely sure how many of these are Android users with or without tether, and how many are mifi users on PC, but look at how many folks downloaded one single movie, the Expendables! According to this federal lawsuit, between February and April, 326.
Wow, that's pushing a lot of data through the 3G network!

so lame - netflix is 10$ a month and you dont get sued over a stupid movie - or blockbuster (now with games for ps3, xbox, or wii) for 20 a month. Just not worth it.

Actually to go one better Netflix is $7.99 for the instant stream only account. Granted there is a lag time from new movie release until stream but then you also have the $10 and up plans for DVD's on release.
Good number of Clearwire peeps on there too, prolly Sprint 4G users tethering...

Peerblock does nothing. The trackers still show your ip if your using a public tracker. Your gonna need to be alot more secure than just peerguardian etc.

Does it really matter anymore? I fully expect this entire case to be thrown out on the grounds that there is now precedent. A federal appeals court just last week said that an IP =/= a person. You can't prove that a specific person downloaded a movie based on evidence that an IP downloaded it. There can be multiple computers or other devices on one IP. These devices can be known, in a case where one's household PCs are hooked up to the same wireless router, and unknown, where one runs an open wi-fi and there are neighbors that piggyback on the service.
If I were to ever get one of those notices from an attorney I would send back a letter telling them to go pound pavement.
The lawsuit won't stand, but the effect of people using bit torrent over 3G is more damaging. Just means more tiers and less true unlimited plans. Right now a MIFI contract is a pretty good deal, but if a few users hog all the bandwidth, carriers are going to make it more expensive for everyone.
Lol its a bit cheesy movie. But I still watch cause most my favorite actors are in there.

I know, my IP would show up somewhere in South Africa when I used to use those services. Would never use a phone for those programs though.
- change your mac address on your wireless router.
- release/renew wan IP from router admin page.
- mfw they cant tie old wan ip to your router anymore

True, but they have historical data tying your IP to your router to your account. Whether that is sufficient legal proof to tie to a person is up for debate though.
Really unless a user has a static IP or the carriers keep a list of all IP's assigned to users then we will see A LOT of truly innocent people being taken to court for having a dynamic IP set up through their providers.
I run my own website and can bring up all the IP addresses I have used to log in and they number in the hundreds from a single provider and I'm sure I'm not the only one on the net with this.
Wait and see what happens when G-ma and G-pa get summoned to court for piracy of a movie they don't even know anything about because their IP is dynamic and has changed to one on the list.
Oh and for those who are worried and don't want to wade through the list of IP's just find the files date on your HDD and use Acrobate Reader to search the date cause browser search does not work in Acrobat.
thats funny gus people cant wait for netflix to rip the blueray themselves

So, if everything went okay, you will now have a 50GB box.net account. But what's the use of it when it doesn't support synchronization? Well, there's an app for that!
Click on the image below to go the the apps page...
I'm not sure if it works with the lite version (I guess it does), but I'm using the paid version.
First: add your box.net account in "accounts", then go to "folder pairs" and select the folders to sync.
Done!

Its now working for SE without any sys edits. Just download box and you get your popup on registration saying that you have been upgraded to 50GB..

yes, it is working. SE announced it on it's twitter account.
I have logged to my old box.net account and get premium 50 GB (total) of space.

How to remove google play balance

When I bought Nexus 7 I followed this trick http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1792592 to obtain 25$ free credit.
But now I have all prices in dollars and I want to remove my Google play balance, but when I try to go to wallet.google.com I have no way to remove google balance like other credit card, because there isn't the REMOVE button.
I can't change also my country and address if I don't delete my google balance.
Do you know if it's possible to delete it?

Office365

Thought to share this:
Yesterday I received one update to the Microsoft Office 365 on my Galaxy S4.
And this morning I found out that Office 365 on Android as become subscription free for all home users since the update.
[emoji2]That is great news for many users that can't afford the expensive subscription.
I have also read that Microsoft have released Office 365 for ipad.
[emoji37]But they forgot about us, the Android Tablet users.
I decided to try it one more time and I pulled the apk out from my Galaxy S4 and side loaded it on my Samsung Tab 3 8.0 (SM-T310) just as a test, and...

The version you uploaded still said that you need to have 365 subscription for the app to work.
However, the current version (15.0.2720.2000, dated March 27, 2014) in Google Play allows signing-up of a FREE account for the app to work.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.office.officehub
http://www.androidcentral.com/microsoft-office-goes-completely-free-android-phones
The crevice here is that the above app is 'not compatible' with tablets according to Play, and so you cannot install it directly on a GT3. Install, I needed to install the app on my phone, and that go to /data/app and copy the .apk to my tablet. After that, the app installs and runs well on the Galaxy tab 3.

So people who already pay for google music get ad free youtube?
I still see ads in Youtube while signed in with my All Access email. I am an existing All Access subscriber.
I canceled my all access. Waited for it to run out. Opened the app. Got 6 months free. That easy.
I asked them about this after I received my nexus 6 and they basically told me to pound sand. This is a mistake many companies make. While getting new subscribers is good, keeping your current userbase is also important. Giving current users stuff like this provides incentive for people to sign up, while simultaneously keeping the current userbase happy.
I had a free trial a few months ago so I wasn't eligible for the free 6 months. All I did was add a 2nd Google account to my phone and selected it in the Google Music app and bam free 6 months. Everything else on my phone is tied to my main Gmail except for Music. Works great.

I canceled my all access. Waited for it to run out. Opened the app. Got 6 months free. That easy.

I did this on accident. Had to change the CC on file, forgot to do it before Play Music expired, went to change it and was told I don't have to pay again until May 2015 :highfive:

I use google play music all the time. I don't have all access but I have 60gb legally purchased music saved to cloud. No message. Of course I go back and forth from having all access.
On a side note I never got an email from Google welcoming me to the nexus program. Like I did with NS, Gnex, N4, N5.
yeah i got the option for 6 free months, i need to actually use it now
i wonder if anyone can spoof that their phone is a nexus 6 and get the 6 months as well.....hmmmmmmm
So how about that ad-free YouTube that the OP was asking about?
Anyone seeing ad-free YouTube? Are you a 6 month free subscriber or a paying subscriber?

Ive been a spotify subscriber since they launched in the state. I tried google play when they first launched and it was nowhere near being real competition to spotify... Now it has matured a bit, and I get 6 months free, I am giving it another shot.
Does anyone know of a way to get my spotify playlists transfered over?
Also... did they seriously not include the functionality of crossfading?!
I'm getting my Nexus 6 tomorrow. So should I seriously cancel my subscription today and try to use the promo tomorrow? Will that work?

Still nowhere near as good as Spotify, unfortunately. I want to get rid of Spotify because their customer support and neglecting everybody wanting them to support chromecast.
But I have now tried all access several times (about every 2 months) and I always have to come back to Spotify since it is just that much better service.

I think they pro rate it too. Because I had something similar happen to me. Had to change an expired card. And when it was renewed they only charged me $8.99 instead of the $10.
