If you're rooted go to the App & Theme subforum and look for the thread on flashable battery themes. Over a dozen choices.

Not sure what you mean... I have it right here... lol
look at the top right in the circle where it says 89%, but yea it's a custom rom (and the option to pick how it looks is in Interface -> General -> Status bar, on my rom)
Edit: and yes, that's a screen off my Nexus 4, still the same rom and still the same option available.

I use Notification Toggle (free in Play) which puts shortcuts in the notification bar. It has several battery % options that display in the notification area showing 1% battery increments. No flashing required, just install from Play and configure the battery icon.

You don't usually see a "Pure AOSP" rom come with a device other than a Nexus. So if you're seeing it on all other 4.2.2 (that are not AOSP But whatever the manufacture made them as), it's just not a device thing, rather just getting familiar with AOSP Stock.

Battery Life is Horrible on Airplane Mode

I have an old Droid 2 that doesn't function as a phone that I only use in Airplane mode. I occasionally turn on WiFi to download an app or to sync something.
It's running MIUI.
A strange thing that I keep running into is that it wants to activate on bootup, but I can't activate (not an active device) or skip it.
The battery usage graph deisplays that "Phone Calls" are taking 70%+ on the battery.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Screenshot is attached.
it's been awhile since I've used miui
but doesn't look like phone is in airplane mode
i think you can disable network data in settings
may even try freezing phone app
not sure what that will do
make sure you have a nandroid

I've tried both, freezing the app only broke a bunch of other things. The disabling of network data also didn't affect it.
I'm pretty sure it's the activation at the beginning that I can't skip.

I don't think so
you could try another rom, I like liquid or cm7
If you head over to Rootzwiki there's a zip you can flash that will remove the phone apk and that should solve your problems.
Droid 2 has a very bad battery

I'm running apex with the droid 2 as my alarm clock/netflix device. I've hit 20 days battery with 6 hours screen on.

Your Droid 2 must be on stock/GB.
I am guessing most people with battery issues are using ICS

Should I get it replaced.

OK I know we have lag threads, but tbh I think this is a joke now, I've noticed folk running androbench in the lag thread but I haven't seen anything as bad as this, my scores wasn't much better on stock so I gave PA a try so hats what I'm running now, my games play fine but Gtalk for an instance takes like 45 seconds to open, really confused and starting to wonder if my on board band chip is just duff.
What you guys think, any help would be very appreciated

Totally off-topic: But how did you get the status bar to go on the bottom bar like that?

Battery percentage compatible with paranoid ROM?

OK so before starting I do know that there are apps that do this however I don't want two separate battery icons in my notification bar; its tacky and it makes to notification bat cluttered. What I'm looking for is a mod that is known to work with paranoid droid that shows battery percentage instead if the stock android battery.
Any ideas?

Weird Battery?

I just installed apex launcher yesterday and thought id change the power toggles icon to battery to keep an eye on how the launcher would affect my battery life. A few hours ago i charged my phone fully. I noticed the battery went to 98 percent fairly quickly but then it went back up to 100. I checked my battery stats to make sure it wasnt just the power toggles playing up. But the graph actually showed the battery percentage going up.
Any ideas?

The battery meter and graph are more of a rough approximation of your battery. It reads off of the current the battery receives. If it spikes you could see the battery graph drop a little and then go back up.

AW: Weird Battery?
I had this 100-98-100 bug, too. Happened to me 2 times. It seems to be just a small bug, doesn't bother me too much.

N4 Official 4.3 problems

I updated my N4 to 4.3 but i seen that PlayStore and Android OS grab too much of data as i seen on graph (over 200 MB).
Cant find app that is doing that but phone is hot to touch

I reseted graph by rechargeing phone to full.
By the way the things like Playstore(190MB) and AndroidOS(280MB) where on top for data and AndroidOS and Contacts where on top of battery drainage.
I dont have any sync or something like that turned on.
