Hi. So i've got an issue with my galaxy s4 9505. I cant get into recovery just download mode, and when i try to use odin to flash a firmware custom or stock or kernel it doesnt pass the( NAND write start) and i get the FAIL message. I forgot to tell you that when the phone is not in the download mode it shows on the main screen the following message( Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again.) and it doesnt turn off. KIES running in background as process?
Tried another USB cable?
Tried to use another USB slot?
In order to turn it off ... did you try to push Powerbutton and hold it pressed until re-boot?
BTW what did you do to get into this situation?

Try flashing a Stock ROM with ODIN
PS: Give more informations please

hi
Thank you for your quick reply. Fortunately i've resolved the issue. Indeed i've flashed a stock rooted rom(XXBMEA) and it worked. Unfortunately my goal was to flash the new Omega v5.0 rom but it looks like i cant flash the new TWRP 2.5.0 kernel. I can flash it successfuly but nothing happens. Can you please help me in this sittuation. At this momment Im using the XXBMEA stock rooted rom with the wifi and data fully working. So i think i could flash at any momment the Omega rom if i could flash a working TWRP or any other way if u know. Please help me.

Need a ROM (and firmware?) from ODIN, phone bricked NO CWM only ODIN works.

I screwed up my rom flash and CWM and ROM don't work, stuckon a boot loop.
I need A rom I can install via ODIN because thats the only thing that works.
Any rom will do, as long as I can flash it via odin
It just has to be no CWM only via Odin.
Thanks folks, I will be in dbted to who ever helps me fix this.
Big thanks and Kudos

I'm in the same situation. I'm stuck in Oden Mode and it says Firmwear upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again. I have opened up Kies and it doesn't help. I can't get anywhere and keeps failing.
Help, and thanks!

Disable Auto Reboot in Odin and flash the CWM, then boot manually into the recovery. Its a known security feature which flashes the stock recovery after reboot.

Try this recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2280457 and don't forget to choose disable recovery flash option when you exit the recovery.

SM-G900F trying to install cm 12.1

Hi Guys i have some Problem to install CM 12.1 on my sgs 5 (SM-G900F).
After much trying i think i have root access to my phone.
no i trying to install cm via the recovery mode from my sd.
But there cames the error = failed to verify whole-file signature
I read that there must a button to change that the signature check turn off, but in my recovery mode there is no point for that.
So i looked how i can update the recovery section but i dont know and i dont find something working for me.
Also my problem with rooting my device dont work with the 4.4.2 rom. I Found a rom called G900FXXU1BOB7_G900FDBT1BOB1_G900FXXU1BOB7_HOME.tar and with that the cf-auto-root-klte works on my phone.
My knox counter is now 0x1 but thats not so bad for me. I have no problem with that.
I Hope you can help me thanks.

Hello matthias,
it is important to know which recovery do you use? TWRP? Philz? CWM?

If you were on stock rom and just rooted with cf autoroot it sounds like you are still on stock recovery. I don't think its possible to flash cm via stock recovery.
I suggest to flash twrp2.870 recovery via odin...

Download Repair Firmware and flash it via odin.
It works.
If that fails get marshmallow or nougat stock and go into download mode. Flash it with Odin. You will be back at stock and have to redo root and recovery.

This reminds me of my PSP 3004 I broke it the same way trying to change the bootanimation, but sadly it doesn't have Odin mode so is still stuck in my drawer... Next time make a full nandroid backup before trying it, then you can flash stock rom via odin, flash twrp via odin and restore your settings from before.

Softbricked A5(2016) A510F - can't install firmware

Hey there!
So it seem like I bricked a friends A510F
Wifi, bluetooth, mobile data all weren't working properly and there were some minor difficulties with performance so we decided to install AOSP...
All her data is secured so I seached for a good ROM and tried to install TWRP from here. Installing via Odin sadly failed so now I have device without Android, only OdinMode is working, but all attempts to install either twrp for a custom ROM or Samsung original firmware failed...
Any clues what I'm doing wrong? Haven't done a Samsung device so far...
All suggestions welcome
yanness
Download repair firmware from xda and flash it through odin.it will probably work!

What happens when the phone is turned on? Does it get stuck in boot logo and stays like that? Try flashing stock bootloader. Also give details on which firmware u were on. What error do u get in odin?
Hello Sirs,
Please, can anybody help me? It is very weird what is happening!
After to go and download the original firmware in Sammobile, I used odin to install a stock rom! Odin is OK (process completed) but when it is trying to start, the logo samsung is blocked (bootloader). I have tried to modify the hidden.img to hidden.img.tar and I have use Odin but nothing looks like to work. Can anybody help me?
Thanks so much in advance!
Additional info: The device has not been rooted, etc.
hey i use a galaxy a510F currently and evertime i get FRP locked, software deleted, broken rom or twrp, my final solution is to odin flash a PERFECTLY WORKING STOCK ROM (which i had to try downloading from 3 or 4 different sites) and then i'd flash twrp ( official ) and restore one of by backups if needed. last time i had to flash because i hot frp locked tring out a new rom. i flashed over a stock rom and i got my phone working surprisingly without even losing my apps.
file i used is:" INS-A510FXXU8CSF1-20190710103917.zip"
pm me if u need a link (its in my drive)
