That would probably explain why i didn't see any then...lol. Sorry to get your hopes up guys...BUT they do have a rom called "erobot" that claims to be touchwiz 4.1.2(may be a port) but that just might work if some one is willing to try it

^this is a link to the thread about the rom although the actual file is on another site & seems to be in THAI

Thanks. They have it posted on this 7.7 forum for P6800.
OT,
I built a P6800 JB 4.1.2 ROM for my P6810 (correct mounts etc).. compiled P6810 JB kernel from P6800 JB sources using a P6810 config......didn't boot. Suspect kernel fault or need to flash new P6800 JB bootloader. Have since deleted my work and got other things going.

are u saying the buttons located at the bottom on the status bar are not working because if so thats a known issue. What happens when u hit the maximize/restore icon in the top/lower right corner? Does the app float or does the icon even appear at all? What happens when u drag an app from the tray then drag another app from the tray?

as i replied on the 6200 post... the apps only open as usual apps... the resize or switch icon does not appear anywhere...

apparently i just got really lucky that these combination of files just happen to work on our device *shrugs*
if u are rooted try to replace the "multiwindow.tablet.xml" file in "system - etc - permissions" with this "multiwindow.phone.xml"(dont forget to set permissions & reboot) attached below & see if that makes a difference(floating windows shouldn't work but dual panel might)
i'm also a lil concerned since this isnt a pure stock rom but since its mixed with plus & note 8 files it seems like it should work
View attachment com.sec.feature.multiwindow.phone.rar

still the same... nvm then... will experiment on it... got to go back to work now... thanks for the great start... ^_^

i just got finishing comparing the code in the "phonewindowmanager.smali" and it's literally like 4 numbers from being identical...lol if you're not bothered by boot looping i actually would try the p6200 zip from the post in our forum. If it boots but still doesnt work then at least we can rule out what it isn't...so whenever u find time give that a try but of course backup before u do

hahaha... actually i had already test it before you even request for the android.policy.jar
it bootloop alright...
going to test it with the stock firmware... but i need to find time to complete the deodexed stock firmware... its being pending for a while as i need to figure out how to deodexed JB... kind of little bit different from ICS

here is the file from stock deodex Thai ROM P6800DXMD3
Maybe it will help if something was modified in eRobot ROM

has go back to stock... but still... the same... but the minibar icon is missing...

i just created a new version for the Tab Plus with the pin & window resize functions working. I made 2 new zips for u guys to try but again no promises so be sure to backup...the files are a lot larger this time(around 42MB) so i had to upload to another site. Before u flash u MUST enable a live wallpaper for your lockscreen background due to a freezing issue with the ripple effect option(please read the update section of my original post in the p6200 forums)

If neither one of these works then swap out the "services.jar" file i've attached below which is located in the "system - framework" folder
View attachment services.jar

double post...please delete

Flashed stock version and after Samsung logo I have a window like when apps are updating but its name is %1$s, %2$s and content is Noon
After 1or 2 minutes - bootloop

yup showing the same symptom...
i check the file you upload and there were systemui and framework as well... it might not be the same with the one use int the system hence crash occur... i'll upload the files from e-robot

Any ideas how I can install it on a Motorola Milestone?
great work hex you always do good stuff to a droid!!!!!thanks been missing mods by hex
just thought id let ya know i lost root installing this as a rom for the droid...it keeps trying to reformat my sd card, it says i have a error on my sd card , i cant run rom manager because it says there is no su app found in /system/xbin but i do see theres a su app in system bin i thinnk? im going to try this once it gets a little further along i like it!! oh yeah one more thing facebook widget is broken once you sign in. its there and ok before you sign in but the second you sign in and go back to the home screen it says problem loading widget.
Theme is awesome! New links would be appreciated. And this does work on CM 6 RC1, correct?
Thx
You mind sharing the icon set?
Wifi doesn't work worth a damn, and I lost root access. Also, the links for the Metamorph versions are dead. This is very promising and I'd like to see it working better.
Hell, if even the WiFi worked, I'd keep using it..but it doesn't seem to.. unless flashing a different kernel will work? I should try that..
EDIT: Flashed a different kernel..didn't work. Still no WiFi, and no root access.
Great work, still buggy though, but it's gettin there.
Anyone can provide mirror to the link

I am thinking this isn't a ROM, but a theme that goes over a ROM. Although some do not all themes contain ROMS. I D/L'd I did see a specific link for a Droid Ported version. However, I am not sure that the Milestone is included in that.

I noticed the dead link as well check out CM forums, got mine there and it works like a charm however there is still some more development going into this as the one I d/l'd for CM6 RC2 is a beta version. However this theme looks SHARP!! Another good place to look is on ROM manager Premium. This is probably the best I've D/L'd for sure. It has to be 'sup'ah dope,' to add to the already natural dope'ness Cyan6 RC2.
Can you specific the url for cm forum?

ICS AOKP ROM for the u8800

This is an AOKP ROM for the u8800. It is ported from Huawei Honor B977 4.0.3. I'd like to know if anyone else has tried this and what they think. It's a chinese rom from the anzhi forums (original thread)
I flashed this ROM just now ( thanks fjsferreira for the mirror), this is my feedback:
- Fast, smooth (on par with Aurora).
- Wifi, mobile data, bluetooth, and the like work.
- No gapps, Play Store, camera, browser...(you pretty much have to install everything yourself).
- No strip unicode in the Mms.apk.
- Popup notification support in the Mms.apk.
- Cool AOKP tweaks (naturally...).
- No theme-chooser (meaning you'll have to stick with the mix of Touchwiz 5, ICS and lots of tranparency that is the UI).
- Long pressing the Home key doesn't show the multi-tasking interface and doesn't take you to the Homescreen.
- The SEARCH key is set to turn off the screen (to revert it to its normal function (searching!), check this post).
- I'll add more feedback information as more people try it and report.

Make sure the system folder fits in your system partition. I think you need to chacge the partitions in order to flash this, but I'm not sure. Our phone's default system partition is 210 mb
Has anyone tried it? Or have mirror?
I would love to give a try, but download time shows me 18 hours...
I have tried the previous ver actually..... Partition is a must, otherwise phone wont pass Huawei logo. Its ported from Huawei Honor ...every thing works well but Home key does not work..... But be aware some time it happens that you cant return to stock partition and you wont be able to Flash official 2.3 or Froyo ROM back.

I haven't tried that way, you can try once.... All 4.0 official ROM designed for U8800 PRO also officially they have made .app file for changing the partition to install ICS so i doubt it will work.

Actually this version is much smaller (109MB) than the previous (180MB), so it may not need re-partitioning. It has a ".UP" suffix so maybe it is an update flashable only and you need the previous installed, but I can't know since I cannot download it. It just goes soooooo slowwww....

If you guys use something to stabilize the download, like free download manager, speed is always above 800 KB/s (I've just finished my download, took less than 3mins)
http://i.imgur.com/5kkae.jpg
EDIT: anyway, here it is
https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B4ZMZwAV0MEaVUUzMjRDM2JyXzg
(I didn't try this ROM yet, and probably won't, Aurora is completely stable for me right now)
Well, just went ahead and tried the ROM. From my 10 minutes playing with it, everything seems to work, wifi, mobile data, bluetooth and camera (camera isn't included by default, you have to install one).
Also, no market by default, you have to manually edit the zip file and include the market apk in it.
Sadly I had to uninstall it after 10 mins because, and I'm seeing this more and more, the dev completely screwed up the UI... it's simply horrible, it's not default AOKP at all... He made a complete mess with icons from samsung, an horrible background in every app, horrible popups and menus, etc... I didn't like that at all. I didn't even took the time to create screenshots, I'm sorry, because it was burning my eyes...
There are some stuff completely in chinese, in the ROM control area of the settings, but overall, you can choose any language that Android includes. Note, while the theme of the UI isn't AOKP, the ROM itself is, with the usual settings AOKP provides,
Performance wise, I saw no difference than with aurora...

Multi-Windows like Note 10.1 JB [Working] + Modded Apps

Hi Everyone,
I just registered here on xda today and I am a newbie so please be lenient with me.
Just want to share my newbie experience. Since the LS2 leak I've been trying to port multiwin dows from Note2 and then came the LS7 leak which includes multiwindows already, I have experimented with different dpi values and swapped files from other galaxy tablets to our Note1. It's sleepless nights of excitement exploring more possibilities for our Note1 and to cut the story short I came up with this. See screenshots below.
Please be aware I am not responsible if you break your phone. This is only for the brave souls. But actually I have done it many times the last few days with constant reflashing, swapping files, and trying to understand what makes it all tick and my phone was OK. It actually came out better than I expected. Thanks to all the cumulative ideas that I have gathered from all the people here at xda (who I can't remember to give special credit to) but anyway in the spirit of sharing, here it goes.
So here is the procedure and the files are attached for convenience.
Download this CWM flashable zip. (Thanks to nanomet for the CWM zip file).
1. Please make a nandroid backup first so you can return to your previous state in case you want to.
2. Make sure you are on rooted deodexed LS7 with CWM recovery. I am on Bangsti's ROM.
NOTE: I am currently testing it on odexed ROM and just to let you know the CWM flashable file does NOT work on odexed ROMs yet because it does not have the ability to delete corresponding odex files when flashed.
3. Make sure install another launcher like Apex or Nova as a failsafe in case TW Launcher forecloses. I use Android 4.2 launcher.
4. Install build prop editor from the Play Store. Run Build Prop Editor and change ro.sf.lcd.density to 213. Then add new property: qemu.hw.mainkeys with value 0. Save and don't reboot yet.
5. Now reboot into CWM recovery then flash N7000.LS7.deodex.MultiWindow.zip then reboot.
6. Voila! most stock apps are resizable including Settings although they don't appear on the dock.
Now you can see the navigation bar with an arrow on the right that opens up a dock with some applications. At the moment all you see are Gallery, Videoplayer and Browser. Most stock apps are resizable but they don't appear on the dock. Now experiment by swapping apps from TAB7 2 and Note10.1 that you prefer to change depends on he layout you want. Some want the double pane apps like music player, files and task manager. Everytime you need to reboot for the apps to appear on the dock. Some work others don't depend on the window profile currently selected in the dock.
7 The apps from TAB and Note10.1 appear on the dock whereas the Note1 stock apps don't. And now, thanks to vingar for referring the thread from Note10.1, I was able to confirm my thought that all apps can be modded to be resizable like Spotify, Dropbox, Evernote as you can see on the screenshots below.
8. Now all we need is share the modded free apps so everybody can benefit - like Gmail, Youtube, etc. CALLING out those DEVs who are interested and have the skill to mod apps to participate. As for bought apps, you need to learn how to decompile and mod your bought apps.
9. Another concern is keeping the stock multiview functionality that is included in LS7 together with multiwindows from NOTE10.1 together make the device buggy so I decided to let go of the multiview of LS7 and stick with the multiwindows of NOTE10.1. You can do that by deleting the file com.sec.feature.multiwindow.phone from system/etc/permissions. Note: Now multiwindow from LS7 and Note10.1 can co-exist but they should not be used at the same time. Turn off LS7 multiwindows if using the window layouts in the dock. That is completely up to you.
10. And that's it. Enjoy and I hope you share your experience and mods. Keep sharing fellows. Please PM me with link to modded apps so I can post it here for others to see without having to go all the way through the thread. Thanks.
MODDED APPS:

2. Papyrus
3. MxPlayer
4. Google Chrome
5. Solid Explorer
6. Evernote
7. Dropbox
8. Google Music

10. Gmail
11. Torrent
12. FxCamera
** you can find modded non-stock apps on this thread. it even gives info on how to mod your own apps.
** Ianbbaa has just released his v3 ROM and I have tried it and just like he said, it is just a preview and has not been polished for speed yet because of time contraints on his part. I am currently testing my mod on stock odexed ROM and I find the speed better. [see quadrant screenshot below]. I admire his efforts and I am in fact using his modded apps from his ROM for my personal use for now and I advise you to try his ROM. If he would allow me I would make available his modded apps on this thread but until then, you can download it in his thread.
This is Greaaaat!!
I was trying to do something similar earlier but didn't have the time to follow it through!
Your efforts are impressive!
I shall try this when I get a moment!

Hi Everyone,
Just want to share my newbie experience. It seems multiview with LS7 is not enough so I remember some thread in this forum about changing dpi and so I did and experimented with different values and of course had FCs of TW Launcher and SystemUI, and I thought maybe I'll try the TW Launcher and SystemUI from the Note10.1 JB but I can't make it to work so I thought maybe the one from TA B7 2 JB would be a better fit and yes it did at 213 dpi which I was surprised because the icons are bigger than 240 dpi with the stock launcher and look nicer. I change build.prop to have soft buttons then based on the airview fix discussed in the forum, I was curious about such a small file would make airview work all of a sudden so I tried to see what permissions are different from Note10.1 to Note5.3 so I tried to copy persmissions that are missing from Note5.3 and rebooted and voila, I was surprised with stock Gallery and Videoplayer app with resizable/maximise/restore window support just like in DESKTOP PC. The other apps are not and the browser is FC. So I copied the browser from Note10.1 and the browser worked. The rest of the stock apps doesn't work but when I flashed the multiview hack circulating from the forums, I came up with most stock apps being resizable just like the Gallery app, even Settings, Dialer, Contacts, Music Player, Files, Snote, Smemo, Email, MMS even though they do not appear on the dock. I have been playing around with it for a few days now since the LS7 leak and it is a usable daily driver, fast and a bit buggy sometimes, maybe because I am not a dev and I don't know about modding and decompiling and recompiling and so and so. So if you Guys want to try I can share the procedure and the files to swap and I know you can better make a better ROM than I do.
Just to show you a screenshot.

Do some quadrant and AnTüTü benchmarks and post it in the relevant thread.
There is an off topic thread. Post there.
Make some screenshots of your home screen -> post it in the "post your home screen" threads...
Just level up the participation. That is the only limit

I was actually on alliance alpha 1 when I tried this experiment and there was one error that I dont know how to resolve. I can't seem to connect to the computer by usb cable so I tried the one from bangsti and the error was gone although I think the alliance rom was faster. Maybe if robbie hood can include this in his rom as an option and polish it a bit, it would really be awesome.

Thanks. Just like I said I am a curious newbie but can follow instructions and its actually quite simple. If I knew how to maks a flashable zip then it would just be a one step. Try it out and substitue apps from tab7 2 and note10.1 and see what works for you including widgets from ICS. Tell us how ot goes.

Hi,
If you send me the edited files, and the paths they should go in, I could make it in a cwm zip for you.
It's quite easy to do.
Or else I could send you a pre made cwm zip that you can just place the things that you want flashing in.
Let me know if I can help.
Cheers
Corey

this is really cool [while a lot of us are waiting for MiniTab_v0,3] I tested on Ultimate_LS7, many stock apps work nicely, you share a huge thing xperiacle :good: if ianbbaa not releasing MiniTab_v0,3, believe some of us can mix your sharing with v0,2 for their own
hope all of these features together with v0,3 you and ianbbaa will make our incredible NOTE more wonderful :victory:
for those who want a CWM doing MOST steps in the OP, you can use my file as following, a backup before flashing is always recommended, it works on my Note with Ultimate_LS7
BEFORE flashing you need:
1. Make sure you are on rooted deodexed LS7 with CWM recovery. I haven't tried it on odexed one but maybe it will work.
2. Make sure install another launcher like Apex or Nova as a failsafe in case TW Launcher forecloses. I use Android 4.2 launcher.
3. Install Root explorer or Root browser lite or Solid Explorer or anything that can access root folder with R?W and can change permissions. Install build prop editor from the Play Store.
4. Run Build Prop Editor and edit ro.sf.lcd.density to 213. Then add new property: qemu.hw.mainkeys with value 0. Save and reboot.

[Q] A question regarding 4.2.2 upgrade and native dialer

I have enabled native dialer by modifying framework-res.apk in my Nexus 7 3G with JB 4.2.1.
Now my question is, will the native dialer stay if i upgrade to 4.2.2? Did anybody try? Pls share. Thanks a lot.
Are you on a custom ROM?
No, I simply downloaded a dialer-enabled framework-res in this forum and replaced the original one.
btw, is there any place to download dialer-enabled 4.2.2 framework? I had trouble doing this myself
thanks in advance!
Can you post up your framework-res? I will make the small edit for you. As I understand it, it is just a bool edit "<bool name="config_voice_capable">false</bool>", where you change false to true.

Hi hlxanthus,
Attached is the framework-res.apk from 4.2.2. Really appreciate if you can help!
Thank you!
Here are some flashable packages, that will work for you within twrp or cwm recoveries. If you would rather you can just crack them open to pull the apk out. One has the one I modded and the other is the original you posted up. Please know that this will ONLY work with the rom you pulled the framework-res from. So if this is a stock apk, then that is all you can use this with.
Please note, that while this should give you access to the dialer, it will not magically enable phone calls on your device (that I know of atleast, let me know if I am wrong LOL). You will still have to use a VoIP service like GrooveIP for example to route said phone calls thru your wifi and 3G radios.
Download - 4.2.2.dialer_enabled.framework-res.tilapia.zip
Download - 4.2.2.restore_framework-res.tilapia.zip
I clicked the system update button and reboot....
But it didn't update successfully and stopped in the middle of the upgrade.
I was asked to reboot and I am still in 4.2.1.
Any idea why? The whole process took only a minute or so.
Is it because mine was rooted?

Might be. Other modifications have you made? You might need to flash a stock recovery back in place at the very least.
Native dialer
Hi there,
I have a Nexus 7 Wifi only and i would love to have the stock dialer to use my SIP account.
Can i flash the file here in this thread?
I'm on Paranoid ROM 3 (4.2.2).

[TESTERS NEEDED !]Having trouble with my custom rom project.

Hi guys, as said, i'm having trouble with my custom rom in experimental phase.
What i mean :
- i took files from my stock rom.
- deleted useless APKs.
- added "su" script in /bin folder. Put "Superuser.apk" in /app folder.
- Added Fly-On script
- Compressed all PNGs to reduce the weight of the zip.
AND NOTHING ELSE !
The rom boot, but when i want to connect my phone in my WiFi it keep requesting the IP adress for ages.
Then second issue, when i try to perform somes "superuser requested actions" a toast message pop to tell me "Sorry you phone isn't rooted."
Any ideas guys.. ? Thanks a lot.
up please.
I think you should leave kernel part in rom untouched...also try dhd.ko file by whitexp for wifi problem.
I'm willing to help...n test...

What did you mean by "the kernel part in rom untouched" ? /bin folder ?
EDIT : Tried to flash the WhiteXP dhd.ko and i had an error, phone is trying to connect then it says "disconnected". I would like to set permissions to rwr-x but i couldn't as my phone says there is an error with Superuser, see above.
Means just make your customised apps and script packages.
Don't include any kernel file on package...
And also just advice: make a flag point..
Where you can start again if something went wrong...
For now..just try to re-root device..see if it helps...
Or just take backup amd start fresh...

Just because i wanted to do it myself and not "depends" of the work of something else. Just be proud of it for the sake of it
you can do it yourself , the maker of this rom didn't modify the rom, he made it slimmer only
in order to achieve great work you have to be smart, not close minded

I'm not "close-minded" simply wanna be proud of my own
Question : how can i get rid of the "Welcome screen" when we flash a rom with the droid and all the google sync stuff ? i wanna make the rom boot on the launcher directly like in CM11. Any ideas ??
Also how can i get rid of the T9DB and CSC folder. as well as CSCFiles.txt, CSCversion.txt and SW_configuation.xml at the root of the zip. (i wanna remove these because i take + 5MB for quite nothing...)
PS :
i'm using a DXLF1 rooted base made by Android-xda and as soon as i delete T9DB and CSC folders samsung keyboard gave me a FC : "Process com.sec.android.inputmethod.axt9"
Any ideas ? Thanks guys
Edit : Nevermind i put back these files and FC still happens....
I got bored and made a custom rom template for you although since I dont have the device I cant test it
flash in cwm with everything mounted
The rom is
deodexed
rooted
busybox
bloat removed

Okay, and what about the "T9DB" and other files at the root of the zip ?
if you wanna test a systemui you can try the one below I just knocked up
It will probably force close though as I dont have the device to test
if it does work it should have two pannels with toggles on 2nd pannel
if it just force closes oh well not alot I can do without the device
you can flash it in cwm with system mounted but have a backup due to likely force close
edit - see later posts
