This is me just as I have unlocked the phone, you can see full signal but its grey and not blue, also on Edge when it should be on H
This is the O2 APN I am on
This shows mobile data is turned on
This shows it finally connected to H, it took me 6 minutes for the phone to connect to data as you will see when comparing the first and last photos, to get this to connect it involved me rebooting the phone, selecting a different APN then going back to my own, quite a pain in the rear, and this is fine until you put the phone to sleep and then you've to go through the same process
I can only assume this has something to do with the radio as the sim works fine in my Galaxy S2, and here's another thing, when the signal is grey and not blue if I try to make a phone call I bet a beep and a call failed error.

Wizard disconnects from network

I have a serious problem with my Wizard. I have the phone for months but the problem came out 2 weeks ago. The problem that It automatically disconnects from network. I mean I turn my phone on, I type the PIN then after hours or minutes (I don't really know) it disconnects from the network, so nobody can call me and I don't get any SMS. Also a problem that I can't see anything of that issue. I mean it still shows me that I'm on network, it displays my operator name (Pannon 3G) and I have high radio signal. There are 2 solutions. I need to restart it or after I call somebody I get all the sms I should get while I was unavailable and everybody can call me. Then the problem occurs again in minutes or hours. I tried to hard reset my phone but resetting didn't slove the problem. What should I do?
Edit:
Can an installed software cause this?
I'll try to hard reset my phone again and I'll install just the softwares I really need (3: msn, music player, video player). Then we'll see, but I'm still waiting for any ideas.
I also noticed that it works perfectly at the weekends (on saturday and sunday). But On the other 5 days the same problem occurs...
Ok, so here is which I found. I had that icon on my status bar since I hard-resetted my phone.

(A connection inactive icon) And about 4 days ago (I didn't changed any settings or install anything) it changed to that:
(An EDGE network is available) And now my phone is still working fine (as a phone :/) from that time changed. So how it changed automatically and what is the connection with EDGE network?

4G Signal Reception Results

[My new Galaxy S5 does not seem to be getting great signal reception. It's constantly around -100-106 dbm. I downloaded an app that checks it every 1 minute and then produces the results in excel forumat. Other devices in my office (also on verizon) are getting much better reception
I went to the mall, and the Galaxy S5 there was around -80, while mine was -97. Obviously both Verizon. How is this possible, other than a faulty radio in my device?
I remember back in the day you could dial #228, but obviously with 4G you can not do that.
Should I return/exchange my phone?
I should add, if I power off the phone, take out the sim card, then reinsert it. The signal improves to like-84-88 dbm for awhile, then tapers off again to the -100s.
Will SOMEONE chime in their thoughts?
You can see in the circled area, if I do a restart, the signal is better for like 5-10 mins, then drops off again. I even tried to do all of these things in safe mode, same results.

Maybe you should check the signal power when you actually use your phone ( in a call) maybe is a power saving feature. Try to compare with other s5 in the same room. Could be a bad driver for modem. From my experience with Samsung it takes 2 or 3 updates to get all well.

Black screen of death since 5.1.1

Ok guys it started since I migrate to 5.1.1 ROM, flashed clean DN 0.3 note 5 port, and the phone would just go black at least once per day, nothing seems to work even a hard restart (volume up + power button for 20 sec) only a battery pull would restart the phone. So I figured it must be the ROM ( noone in DN 0.3 thread seems to have this problem) . So I flashed the original 5.1 firmware for my country, rooted it and used it for a day to find out it does the same! I'm really not sure what seems to be the culprit. I couldn't find a conclusive pattern on the bsod however last time I noticed it happened right before I was disconnected from public wifi, perhaps it is the modem? Maybe it's root and bootloader conflict with 5.1 firmwares? (the phone boots up, so it cannot be bootloader? Or I don't understand something about what bootloader does?) Any one has encountered the same problem? Any clues on how to fix it?
Just happened again while wifi connection was weak and I think it happens right before it got disconnected or switched to other connection mode or different wifi
Read around the forums that people are having bsod in combination with Tasker and secure settings to switch off secure keyguard, I never use this option, just use Tasker to automate sync processes, Uninstalled it nevertheless. Will see if it helps
Happened again... Noticed that the battery percentage drops quote significantly after the battery pool, here is the screenshot

Not sure what happened. TWRP works fine, android doesn't. help?

So I've been running the same rom for the last ~2 months without issue. Yesterday the radio was dropping several times an hour. sometimes it would come back with data, sometimes not. I decided to wipe cache/dalvik cache. all night and this morning it was fine. around noon the radio dropped again. came back with data and seemed fine. a few hours later it started freaking out. whole screen goes black and slowly pops in with a black background like the launcher restarted. This progressively got worse to the point where I couldn't do anything on the phone.
Once I got home I wiped the phone. upon booting half the screen was black, half with the welcome setup screen. (the black wasn't a straight line, it was choppy across the screen like something out of tetris)
I then tried using the return to stock tool. SAME THING.
I reinstalled TWRP (lost it during the last step). Installed a stock 6.0 MM rom , same issue.
Here's the weird part, the bootloader and TWRP function and run perfect. So i'm inclined to think theres a software issue and not a hardware issue. Any thoughts on this???
I can even get screen shots showing the issue....

Looks like a sim card issue? Pop it out and put it back in. Or get a new one.

I pulled the SIM and SD card early on. Borrowed a phone from a friend to hold me over, SIM works fine.

Unable to establish a Data Connection LTE: ESM - x EMM - 15

Hello, if this is in the wrong section please have a moderator move it, as I am unsure if it should be here or in the Tmobile section.
I have a Sprint Galaxy S7 that I have had SIM unlocked. I have my T-Mobile SIM installed and have data and voice. I am coming from a T-Mobile Note 4 which was working perfectly.
Every now and then(sometimes twice a day) I get loss of signal and sometimes I get this error message that pops up when it happens. usually turning airplane mode on and off will solve it, but sometimes it requires a reboot.
When it happens my signal bar goes blank, I have no data and cannot send or recieve phone calls or Text messages. It is very annoying and I cannot seem to find the correct combination of Mobile Network settings.
I have also noticed slow LTE download speeds and almost non existent upload speeds. Sometimes it says 3G instead of LTE next to the signal.
I live in Chicago and have attached some pics of my settings. If any more pics are needed just let me know. It is so frustrating I am thinking about just trading this phone into tmobile for their version of the phone to avoid all this hassle, but would rather not get ripped off. They say the trade in value is only like $400, but they charge $650 for their GS7, so yea.
Is there a solution to this?

Traded the sprint s7 into tmobile for their version, less hassle. Now I get wifi calling, tethering, and faster lte data without drops.
