Question about Stock Jellybean 4.2.2 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

I have a question I can't seem to find the answer to so I am hoping someone can assist me or at least point me towards a forum or thread to answer my question.
I read on June 25 Samsung is releasing a galaxy s4 running stock jellybean 4.2.2. Do you know if there is a way just to run stock 4.2.2 on my galaxy s4 at&t version without using custom roms like CM 10.1?
thanks for the help!

By selling my unlocked S4 and buying the dev edition probably costing an extra $50 or something minimal.

If you're gonna sell, sell now because the regular version will certainly drop much lower in price then you're thinking, can promise that. :good:

Installing Darky's Rom onto the S3....

Hi guys i've had my S3 for a couple months now and love it and have not regretted making the change from the 4s in the slightest. i had a I9000 before i got an s4 and had darky's rom installed on there and want to put it onto my s3 also as it seemed to up the performance and speeds a little. but im a complete noob when it comes to these things could anyone link me to a step by step guide on how to flash my s3 with also download links?
I did watch the video before registering i searched for installation guides with the s3 but i only found guides for the original S so i made a new thread
thanks in advance for any help.
First of all, this isn't for the international version of the S3.
Second, if you really do own an I747 and not the I9300, then it is impossible at the moment to flash international ROMs to this device until someone ports it.

Well, there's a separate forum dedicated to the i9300 so that's that.
You might want to check this out, Samsung Galaxy SIII I9300 main page.
And Galaxy SIII I9300 Android Development which is include ROM, Kernel, MOD :fingers-crossed:
You are welcome here Seany.
The point is we might not have the answer you want, so the link on top will provide the best place for you :good:

Root question-Noob

What's up guys? I'm new to android and rooting. This S4 lag is terrible and im looking forward to rooting. My wish is to completely change my S4 to a pure android experience (vanilla?). What do I need to know?
What network are you on?
AT&T
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using xda premium
Well you need to wait for the bootloader to be unlocked and then flash a custom rom when they are made available. As someone new to android be sure to read a lot of various threads to get background knowledge and be careful. Rooting and flashing can potentially break your device if you don't know what you are doing. Just a friendly heads up. We have all been new to the rooting and flashing experience at one time or another.
Read the the threads in depth and best of luck when you make the leap

I've seen more than a few people, some on these forums, some IRL, complaining about lag. I've had absolutely none thus far. Maybe because I'm coming from an older phone? Idk. Seems perfect for me.

[Q] Getting an S4

Hey everyone,
I'm ditching this iPhone 5 and moving on to bigger and better things: S4.
A few nooby questions since I haven't been on android since the G1.
I have AT&T and I heard rooting the s4 is pretty hard for AT&T < is this true? Is there anything I should look for a certain baseband or something?
Should I go with the developer edition or the normal S4? What would be the difference of me buying the S4 and just rooting it and flashing a rom on it?
Now, I'm still use to iphone jailbreaking etc and installing apps, i kinda remember stuff from my g1 because i rooted that too.
As soon as i get the s4 I'm gonna root it and is there a certian mod / update i should be going to? What is the most recommended / best one?
Also this bloatware from AT&T someone said I could remove it all with TI backup ?
And about the microSD, I'd buy the biggest sd i can fit if im buying the 16gb s4 what can be put on the sd?
Thanks!
MOD EDIT: NO SELLING ON XDA

You can wait like everyone else for the official to come out, let the devs do what they do, and get it out whenever they feel like it.

they are having WiFi issues and still they need to figure a safe way to flash avoiding boot-loader lock and Knox trigger. Long story short, i would wait until a stable method has been found before we can port to our att devices.
If everyone would just search before they posted (as per xda rules) they would find a TW 4.3 ROM in the dev section that doesn't have wifi, bootloader, Knox, etc. issues.

Has anyone seen this or tired it???

What do you mean the real kitkat? This is the real kitkat. If you mean LG's version then you are going to have to wait a while for that i'm sure. It will probably be at least 6 months before we see 4.4 on our phones. But I dont care when it is because i'll have had 4.4 long ago
