[Q] help!! when i flash Q's 0511rom, i use advance wipe system and my defy die - Defy Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

my english is very poor ,my problem is the same with this , so i copy this from another one's question.
Help me, please!
Yesterday, I wanted to make a clean install for the latest Quarx's CM 10.1 nightly (I've been flashing Quarx's builds for almost a year now, he's The Best), but I think I made a terrible mistake.
When I wanted to make a factory reset, I've got this error because the sd-ext, I understand, that happened because TWRP's structure with almost all devices running Android 4.2.2 have a virtual-sd and a sd-ext, so I decided to make an Advance wipe and I every damn box, even wipe system and wipe sd card.
Finally when I rebooted my phone, TWRP asked to install SU, I pressed yes.
Then when my phone was rebooting, I've got this error:
Bootloader
09.10
if someone can help me ,can you teach me step by step ,because i really not familiar with english~~~ think every one any way

[Q] Screwed up a rom install - new installs don't detect sim/battery stats - fatal?

Hi everyone
Not sure how, at which point and why, but I've screwed up installing new rom, and now while I can install whatever I want, latest CWM 5.5.04 installed, new roms while do start just fine, don't detect sim, battery shows at 0% full stop, etc...
It started with me wanting to update to latest Elite Rom 9.7 based on MIUI by Terramino. Tried 2 versions, multiple re-downloads, every time it would try to install from zip and just returned the install aborted, bad zip message.
At this point phone is wiped to factory reset, dalvik cache wiped, cache wiped, /system mounted and formatted, so ok, need something else...
Downloaded MIUI 2.1.20 (2.6.35 kernel like the one before reset), and that's when I noticed the problem, thought maybe didn't wipe something correctly, so again factory reset, wipe cache, format /system, retry - same issue, after that it's always the same result whether I use CM7, MIUI or whatever.
Following few threads loaded the 5.5.04 CWM in the end, and to my surprise to add to the problem - now when I mount SD card from within CWM to system - it shows with a cd icon in the system and is now read-only, so can't even add anything to it seemingly.
Booting to pink screen still gives debugging access to internal SD card of the phone via usb.
Any ideas from knowledgeable users as to how to fix this problem? Help greatly appreciated!
That elite rom is only for .32 kernel
you flashed it over official gb that's the prob
Sent from my U8800 using XDA Premium App
Thanks, figured that this was the case, just not sure why after trying to load back newer roms meant for .35 it's still messing it up.
Will do full reload of a kernel and get a proper rom to follow suit, hopefully it resolves the issue.

[Q] Rebooting Defy (in a whole new level)

Hi, I've searched my problem but came up only with "regular" reboot answers. Let me explain:
I was using the newest CM10 builds by Quarx as they were coming, and once in a while my phone rebooted/freezed. I was using nightlies so I was ok with that kinda of thing. But after flashing the last nightly (07/03), my phone was rebooting whenever I pushed him harder than opening the app drawer.
After wiping data, cache and everything else without any results, I've decided to flash an official SBF - Then the phone rebooted in the middle of the RSD flash process. I've started it again and it went ok... but now my phone is rebooting at the Moto logo, when I try to wipe the cache or factory reset through bootloader. I can't do anything with him.
Can someone give me any expectation? Something new to try? Or, hell, even a confirmation that my Defy is dead and there's nothing I can do?
SBF
Hi,
draw the battery,
wait a time,
put the battery inside,
start the steps to flash sbf,
after the flashing is finish make a factory reset in stock recovery,
install 2ndint ( i wrote something on the beginning like: After install 2ndinit restart, deactivat usb debug, and restart again),
Then install one of the beautiful CMs here.

You just have to flash another rom using RSD lite, It will work.
Or just flash the official ROM which u had before installing the CM 10
Thanks for the attention, but I have tried flashing both his original SBF (Retail 2.3.7 from Brazil) and the Chinese one, both causing reboots when I try to wipe data/cache in recovery. If I let it turn on normally it reboots in the first steps (wifi and account configuration), so I can't even install 2ndinit or wipe data through the system. Any other ideas?

[Q] Error removing /data/app......

Hello and thank you in advance for any help,
I have an Iconia A501 that I recent update to Evil alex v. 2 ICS rom and worked great. After a few weeks I decided that I wanted to try the [ROM] [A500] Android 4.3 [CM10.2 Unofficial] Build 6. I made the mistake of not clearing the user, cache, dalvik-cache batter stats or format the /system and /flexrom....I know it was a stupid mistake but it still booted and got all the way to the loading screen?(as if I already had a login and everything loading the os?) at this point it just looped, so I went back in to the recovery and did all then and reinstalled cm10.2..........now I can not even install my Old ICS and I also tried to use the restore boot image and system. No matter what I do the following happens
Skipping erase of /data/media.
Error removing /data/app/com.google.android.gms-1.apk!Error formatting /data!
I am honestly still new to modding androids and the Iconia was my first. I made a mistake when I installed Evil alex but with help from this awesome forum I was able to fix and use it for school. I tried this time but have had no success. Thank you again for any help.......
Hope I gave enough information if I missed something please ask I will be watching the forum for the next hour or two.
Kinda Solved:
This morning I turned it on and it finally booted up to ICS but the sound didn't work.I reinstalled ICS and I could clear the user (factory reset) without the
Skipping erase of /data/media.
Error removing /data/app/com.google.android.gms-1.apk!Error formatting /data!
But it did say
Error removing /data/app/com.google.android.gms-1.apk!Error formatting/ cache
So I am still unsure as to what changed, but all is working and I think I will just stay with this for a while until I learn a bit more.

[Q] Wiped Data, Cache, Dalvik, System

Hello,
It has been a while ago since I've been playing with Android. So I have to find my knowledge again, which is burried somewhere deep into my brain. Even the simplest problems are very hard to fix right now, I hope my knowledge will come back very soon, so I can help Members with their problems instead of asking for help by my own.
(I'm very sorry for my bad English. I'm currently on Oxycodone for my back pain, so everything is just a little harder to do including solving problems with my Galaxy S5)
So let's talk about the problem I'm currently experiencing. While I was trying to install CyanogenMod onto my Galaxy S5, I was constantly getting an error which told me I had to clear out my Data....But I accidently wiped everything! Including my System folder! So now I'm stuck with no OS.
I can still enter Recovery and Download-mode...But the problem is that my SDcard died a couple hours ago. So I can't put a ROM onto my SDcard to flash it with Recovery. Is there any way that I can flash a CyanogenMod ROM onto my S5 without the need of a SDcard? Cause downloading a Stock ROM is taking AGES and I just want to get CyanogenMod working on my Device.
(Again, I'm very sorry if my English is bad.)
Hopefuly someone can help me out, cause all those ROM's, Kernels etc are confusing me like hell.
Kindly Regards,
Asirekor
Not really, you'll need to find a working SDCard or flash stock
Hello,
I managed to Flash Stock ROM. But now I'm having the problem that my 3G isn't working at all. Does it have todo with frequencies or something that are coming with the ROM?

help me im in soft brick

hi guys i have a problem with the mi9t
After a long time I bought a new phone but unfortunately for me things have changed for modding my phone is in bootloop and when I try to install a rom it installs me but on rebooting and as if it were not there
and then notice the following errors
unable to decrypt FBE device
to then start the installation by completing it but on restart it goes into bootloop and finally into recovery

Hard to help without knowing which steps you did.
Did you format data (not wipe, format) before rebooting after installing the ROM?
maybe ask the guys in the Pixel Experience thread?
who knows, it seems to be an issue with the rom .. wrong base (china fw) who knows
