Maybe this thread will be useless as -51 users allready flashing roms for Pro, but i think that STALLION-51 ics , has better compatibility to -51 than roms for pro.

Installation procedure
THANKS to pastorbob62
I took every precaution I could possible take. Backed up with CWM. Made a disk image with DiskImage_1_6_WinAll, backed up IMEI with ToolBox5iromV1.0.4.2 and backed up my APN with APN Backup/Restore. The last step was just to save time since I have a hard copy of my APN settings. I then ran the GB 2.3.5 update from dload, restored my IMEI/APN and then flashed Stallion-51 ICS from CWM.

Of course the common procedure after we have recovery is:
Wipe data factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Advanced and wipe dalvik cache
Mounts and storage and format system
Install zip from sd card, choose zip from sd card
Reboot system now
Wait few minutes until phone boot

I've been using this rom for a couple of days on my -51, it does not seem any better or worse than the pro version.
It installed with no errors and booted up easily.

Yes it's a stable rom for all -51 users.
You have to know that on Gingerbread based roms you will not have random reboots.
Random reboots it's the major problem of all roms based on ics ( 404029 baseband) , and the main reason that i don't want to work on android 4.+ for this phone.

I installed this rom over my existing Aurora rom and it was amazing and stable, but after first reboot, the phone got extremely sluggish during loading sequence and ui was slow and unresponsive... is there a fix for this? Thanks for your hard work!

Nobody's mentioned anything about that ...
Are you sure that you follow the correct procedure to flash this rom on your -51 ???
Maybe a -51 user could help on this cause i don't have a -51 ....

I had that ROM before switch to ICS on my -51, u have to make a clean install, do all the wipes (cache, data, advanced-dalvik cache) and mounts-/format system.. then install the rom.. hope it works, because this is a very good ROM

I count into 3 and install your rom in my U8800-51 and post my impression:
The rom is great. Clean.
I test success:
- Notification icon (work);
- FM Radio (work \o/ );
- Data (only testyng edge - ok);
But for me, the wifi don´t work (probably work in U8800Pro.... it´s bad only for -51 users....) So not support for MTD in transfer mode.
Overall it´s a good rom that will please a user U8800Pro that test and go in search of these characteristics I mentioned.

This rom is for u8800pro, no -51 (i tested for my own risk..). Stuck in the first attempt. And in second? For my first attempt reboot after logo operation (before huawei logo) and in second attempt boot normally (the first valid boot take a more time).

Relax, as I described in my last post, I used at my own risk .. And rest assured, I will not be asking you if you can fix, I lack time and some reading to correct myself :cyclops:
Not sure what went wrong. Did all wipes and installed this ROM, now phone is not booting.. Just shows Huawei Logo for 5 secs and restarts..
Force install of official firmware also not working
Not going into recovery also. Any suggestion?

EDIT: If you cant enter official recovery (vol+/- when powering on) and instead you get into pinkscreen, try making that dload folder on internal SD card ( thx Pikachukaki )

I install this ROM approximately 10x without these problems... So I do not know what could go wrong.

Any Instructions to flash?
Correct me if I am wrong:
1. Download MIUI V5, GAPPS for CM10 & CM10 Kernel in SD Card even if you are in Official Rooted JB or CM10.1.
2. Go To Recovery.
3. Flash CM10 Kernel.
4. Reboot into Recovery.
5, Wipe Data, Cache & Dalvic Cache
6. Flash MIUI V5
7. Flash GAPPS for CM10
8. Reboot and you are ready to go.

It is a download manager. In chrome it was downloading at such a speed that the ETA was 9h... with that program I had it in 1,5h (my internet is slow).

It seems you are very new to MIUI...and also new to flashing ROM..
MIUI is best customized ROM for Android and it is 1000000% safe..provided you flashed the same properly..
Yes..you need to root your mobile.. guide available on xda...

This is my new custom rom for ICS baseband , so you must be on ICS to flash this rom ( not GB or FROYO , ONLY ICS).
Based on B928 , ICS firmware.
I will try to give you an ,as stable as i can ICS rom for everyday use.

At last, someone started to work on ICS rom. Im upgrading from GB right now, ant testing this one.
Excellent rom with perfect sound and very smooth too.

Just tested this rom. It think there is no major bugs, but it lags, with or without apps installed. Especialy screen rotation, realy annoyng. Tryed few diff launchers, still nothing.

Mediafire don't allows to upload more than 200mb for free.
But the link works fine , i cannot understand where is your problem ...

Something goes wrong , i don't have lags even with more than 100 apps installed .
Of course i need more feedbacks cause i don't test gps, gaming and some other things yet ...

I really don't know what do you mean by srs wow hd ,, but i have the stock music2 apk in this rom ...

If you're allready on ICS baseband , you don't have to install official ICS to flash this rom ..
Just get into recovery , do the wipes and format system ... and flash it.

Well, i reflashed this rom, all wipes and stuff, changed launcher to normal one, and it works better, still phone turned off, not rebooted, but turned off while downloading app from market. Battery was at ~80%, i was connected with wifi.
BUT, screen rotation is so slow... i mean, dead horse slow...

Music+ is "Huawei's built-in/preinstalled/stock Music Player"..
SRS WOW HD is a sound enhancement (like Beats™ Audio)
Both of these are the main reason why I loved ICS_B928.

I made couse the DEV whoade the thread is dissapiared, and the thread is not update, and because if you didn't check, HAY is Team Taurus founder ) Just u know I am all day on that Forum and I will update all thread witj news releases

Mmmm idk if data works ,give a try and tell me... I am so busy witj so much projects(using 3 PCs now) and I have not so much time. If it doesn't work ask @cuvetto to fix it( at the same that multilanguague) and if doesn't work I will take a break and look into that problem, okey? Incall volume
Hello,
I have trouble with Incall volume. I set Settings/Sounds/Volume/Voice volume to max, but it seems to work only half to max.
In settings I hear the sound when I set slider to half and more.
Please is there any fix?

My opinion is totally different. There is no free Ram only 25MB. Greenify App is not working on it always getting FC. Lagging and crashing very much. Within 12 hours there were 5 reboots. Not possible to open a heavy App.

So please, leave a rom to your phone 2-3 days and after that, make a feedback.
This rom is terribly slow and has a lot of problems, yesterday you said that is an "awesome" rom ...

This looks really interesting.
But, Team Taurus, you are doing it wrong. All you do is port roms and fix them up a bit, instead of focusing on ONE rom, and make it ideal for everyday use. Maybe you should priorize your stuff?
