Help Nexus 4 bug - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

This is when it happens:
I put an audio jack from the phone to the car radio and listen to music with Spotify.
After 30 minutes when I arrive I turn my car off and take my phone, from that moment it's stuck in a restart loop.
This is the second time it happens.
The first time it happens I did a factory reset in the boot because the normal reset didn't work because of the restart problem.
After a while it started working again because even the factory reset didn't really work.
Now I just turned my phone off and I am just waiting a while checking if it starts up after a while.
Edit:
I waited a while and turned my phone on and now its fully working again.

Is my phone broken?

My wifi wasn't working today, it kept connecting to null..
(on android revolution hd 7.0.4)
so i pull the battery out and reput it back in, it worked and all but this time after 5 minutes or so, the phone restarted it self...
quite random, so then I took the battery out, blew in it etc.. and now it's stuck on the HTC screen and won't boot into ARHD.
anyone know whats wrong?
Thanks.
If you had å back up. Just restore it. It looks like software related problem. Otherwise full wipe and flash the rom again.
Hope it helps

Nexus 7 - not booting up

Hello Friends,
My nexus 7 is not booting up now. I was browsing internet an hour back (N7 showed battery as 7% then). Suddenly, it shutdown automatically saying low battery.
I left it in charge for 30 mins (used the cable that came along with N7). After 30 mins, I noticed the charging icon was not appearing and the screen was blinking occasionally. I tried connecting the cable to laptop and other power points but same result.
I tried pressing the power and volume down button while it is charging, the google logo, JB icon appeared but in seconds, they disappeared and the some lies appeared in a blank screen. N7 is not booting up.
Please guide me in fixing this issue. I searched in the internet and I found at least one person had the same issue but no solution was given. My N7 is also 4 months old and was imported from US.
Additional information:
1. N7 is very much in stock. Not rooted. Never attempted to root.
2. Last I checked, it had around 4 gb free (it is 8GB N7).
3. The laptop is not recognizing the device now.
Please help, guys!

I've had my Nexus 7 for about 4 months and it's been working good until about a couple days ago. It ran out of battery so I plugged in the charger. It began charging but something weird happened when it turned on. It started having static lines across the screen and it would work for about 3 min and then the static lines would appear. After that it would turn off. I left it charging for about 6 hrs and now it won't boot up at all. Could this be due to a cell phone sitting on top of the nexus 7 cover for a couple days? Could it be that the radio frequency from the cell phone messed up the nexus 7? I'd appreciate some help...Thanks
I had also a similar problem a week ago...
Suddently it shutdowns and I've tried many times to boot it but nothing appeared...
I charged it for 15 minutes ( no charging icon) but nothing changed...
I left it all the night in charge and tried to boot it in the morning...pressing the boot key 5 seconds nothing appeared but pressing it 25 i managed to boot up it...(yeah, 25 seconds! That was my last hope)
Since that time i don't let it turn off because of low battery...I'm always afraid it dosn't turn on...

Thanks again.
While trying to boot, I have got some options now. Start, Restart Bootloader, Recovery Mode, Power off. Which one I should try now. I have connected the N7 to PC through the cable but I dont think, the PC detects it now.
Anyway, sometimes I have to use this "brute-force" way to boot on my N7 even if I turn it off manually...
In the manual it says that pressing the boot key for 20 seconds is like a reset of the device when it doesn't boot up normally...
choose START, it will boot up normally.
just stay in the bootloader and install the driver first or you can go to the device manager in your PC, make sure driver is installed on your PC

If he wants to use it with the stock rom, he won't unlock the bootloader...he looses many features but it's his decision...

My wife ran into this same problem today.
Think it might be something with the latest update?
She is completely stock as well.
Maybe it didn't shut down neatly and has corrupted a file? If you can boot into recovery then if all else fails you could re-flash the os surely.

S4 gone crazy. Please help.

Hello, I am Not a noob at all when it comes to android phone but i have this funny and weird problem. Phone starts to get to dock mode when i havent even connected it to dock.
Then after pulling the battery it. Is got stuck in the dock connected and disconnected loop making the phone unusable.
On the second restart I did, it then started playing music from my music player. Even when i close the app. It again starts to play the music automatically.
After that, the phone switched to vibrate. As soon as i preess the vol up key, it goes back to vol down and goes into vibrate mode
This is very frustrating as I have 0 rogue apps. No malware etc. I have the latest MG1 indian rom via OTA.
Anyone else experienced this?

As someone familiar with Android I take it you've already tried factory reset or re flashing stock firmware?

My S4 is weird. Should I replace it,

Hi everybody. My cellphone has started to be weird. The top of the screen became very hot. I am not playing game, I only do internet surfing. With that, my battery is dead after 10 hours with 1h30 screen open.
Also, when I put an alarm, he dose'nt sound. My phone is completly stock. What I should do? Should I got a replacement?

Just do a factory reset from the recovery menu. When turning on the phone press and hold the power and volume up button. It may take a little playing around with it to figure out when to let go, but a little blue bunch of text at the top left will say booting recovery or something similar.

This doesn't sound like something that a factory reset would fix. I would like to know though. That would be wicked awesome if it did.
I'm thinking it's some app malfunctioning on the phone. I'm sure the OP figured it out or he would have posted back saying it didn't work for him.

Nexus 4 can't sleep!

I am facing a serious issue right now. My nexus 4 can't sleep!
In the morning I got a call and after I hung up, my phone switched itself off (since the battery was at 1% for more than 25 mins). And then when I plugged it into charging and switched it on I noticed that the phone wasn't able to sleep! Pressing the power button did nothing (although long pressing it did bring up the power off and airplane mode pop up, so I know its working fine) I set the sleep duration to 15 secs after the phone hasn't been used but that didn't help.I switched off the phone and turned it back on but the problem still remains! Looks like some bug. Help me! Has anyone faced this problem? Oh and BTW I am running 4.4.4 stock ROM with root , TWRP recovery and installed gltools XDA developer edition 2 days before but I don't think its causing the problem since I uninstalled it and checked.

OK so I installed a widget for turning off screen and locking it. When I clicked on the widget , the screen just locked itself but didn't turn off. Someone help!
