Just wait, you will soon. Just like how all the US sgs3 had interchangeable roms with a few tweaks.
Wait for those tweaks.

You know this for a fact because ?
They have the same chipset, the only thing I wouldn't flash is the modem.

so can i download an 9505 official rom and be able to flash it to my phone?

Ask s developer, don't think e can answer for sure. The bootloader isn't even unlocked yet.

Nobody knows for sure at this point.
It would be nice if it turned out like my I9100M, where I flashed it with the I9100 ROM and then my phone was an I9100 from then on. They too had the exact same hardware.

You want someone to reverse engineer really complex low level firmware of a totally undocumented bit of hardware, where one bad flash could hardbrick the phone?
What for? And do you want to give someone the endless supply of phones you would need?

No, I was just wondering if anyone had looked into it. I ask this because I was curious as to how the exploit that found the network unlock codes worked.

[Q] how do you decide which ROM to root with?

I am new to this rooting thing, and although there are not a lot of ROM options yet for the S4, how does one decide which ROM to move forward with?

Well if you have a non-AT&T version that can flash ROMs, the only good answer is flash a few and pick the one you like most.
And if I do have AT&T?

Android 4.3 on GS4 i337?

Simple question: How can I install the latest google edition 4.3 on my i337?
Thanks
Hey it from the android development section and flow the usual/correct procedures to wipe and install
Well you could read or you could read. Your choice
Edit: or you could brick. Please do some reading. It is painfully obvious when someone hasn't done their "homework". You don't need to be spoonfed the steps, but should rather take it upon yourself to learn the proper way to install ROMs, search, troubleshoot, etc. You have to know what you are doing or things can go very wrong with the click of a button

Yeah, more information is key. :good:
Honestly... If he bricks, it's his fault. He has a demanding attitude and comes off as lazy. The question asked is answered many times over. Also, if you want help, we need info. No info, no help. You're lucky people are even willing to try since you have this attitude about you, OP.

[REQUEST] Eclipse ROM Port

Got my Galaxy Gear Watch today and couldn't get it working on my AOSP ROM so I moved over to a TW ROM. However, I hate the TW look. It's too big and clunky so I went looking for some TW ROMs and found this one:
http://www.elementalxdesigns.com/ec...-0-(08-27-13)-Touchwiz-stability-AOSP-Styling!!
I would love to see this ROM ported to the Sprint S4!
What do you guys think?
Of course it would just be a lot easier to just get Galaxy Gear working with AOSP, but TW generally is more stable with better battery life.

If I'm not mistaken, can't you flash a Verizon rom with a Sprint kernel and it'll work?

As long as it's TW ROM. I've never tried AOSP.
BTW the way to install is to wipe data and caches the install ROM. Then wipe data once again then absprint kernel.

Clean installed, wiped data, then flashed the Sprint kernel, and got stuck in a boot loop. Tried a couple kernels too. Might try again some time today.

Did you ever get this working??? I've been trying to figure this out also:fingers-crossed:
I'll take a look at this. No promises but it sounds too good to pass up myself. If I make progress I'll post it here.
Not much to say at this point. Its bootable with a little updater.script editing and flashing the ktkernel with aroma and instantly rebooting recovery and flashing an older 4.3 ktkernel. No data as of yet. I guess if I can get a stable data through either network or WiFi I'll make a download for ya. Or just some good links and a tut.

None.. sorry. Very busy atm and have no time..

No Pure Google?

Sorry for the silly question but I've been curious. Any particular reason that we haven't seen any AOSP/AOKP ROMs for our device yet? Is it lack of development or is there something a bit more technical that is preventing that from happening? I usually love to tinker and they offer quite a bit more options. Again, just curious....

Yeah but didn't the Bionic also have a locked bootloader? We were still able to run AOKP through safe strap. Hopefully we can run AOKP the same way on the Note 3. Unless I'm wrong about the Bionic.

This is a complete guess but I'd say it wasn't a full aosp rom. Probably just a rom made to look and work like aokp on the regular kernel

I just want to make sure I understand this. There is currently a thread on T-Mobile Developer forum for CM10.2. While it's not working well now, once it's debugged it should work fine on our DEs, with the stock TM CM10.2 kernel?
