Help my status bar disappeared. - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

Help my status bar disappeared. Well the thing was so download a status bar that you supposedly settled in cwm, but appeared not to restart the bar, the instructions were these: mount system, flash and reboot. I came out no error in the installation but when restarting goodbye status bar, no longer was.

Which rom r u using??
And which roms system ui did u flash ??
Any way to fix this u extract the system ui.apk of the rom that u were using (u can do all this with root explorer)
U find the system ui.apk in system/app/here in the zip file of your rom
Ok copy that and paste it in /system/app/here in your phone (u will have to replace the existing one)
U will get force closes as soon as u do this but have patience and follow my steps further
Boot into cwm recovery now
Mount system
Choose advanced
Select fix permissions
May take some time depending ob how many apps u have
Reboot after completion
U will get your status bar back

btw METAMORPH WORKS!!

YOU MAY NEED THE NEW OTA (can someone confirm) i know this kinda belongs in the theme section but.... it works will post pics
here is one that i found that worked: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=752088
when it tells you to reboot click yes! It does a soft boot so the theme stays.
requires temproot. I found that many Nexus one themes work

all i want is a black notification bar with white fonts.. but i haven't the slightest clue what to do lol
To all those having problems - is busybox installed correctly? Last I checked it was a major requirement of metamorph.

[MOD][THEME] Circular battery with % for rooted 2.2.2 roms

I'm in the process of cooking my own rom and today i was tweaking the UI of the rom so i made a circular battery for white status bar and i thought that i could share it with you, it should work with any 2.2.2 based rom.

adb push framework-res.apk /system/framework/

Hello,
it makes multi "force close" after installation (Clock, EMail, Google Framework). My rom is Void Delta. Come back with my backup of framework-res.apk and all is working well now.

this one is not for Void ROM, it's for the stock 2.2.2 ROM, so an FC is inevitable
@teh_1: how can you theme the battery, and can you change the notification bar's color to black?

I just changed the battery icons from the framework-res.apk.
I tried to change the notification bar's color but the phone crashed after installing that mod, probably editing the status_bar.xml (the file that has the settings for the date and time font color) in 2.2.2 isn't the same as editing the 2.2 one (values may be on different lines or labeled differently)
Is it possible to have a mod with the % text, but with the normal battery instead of the circular one?

Definitely. I can't point one for you, but the #alpha version of the void ROM had such a battery icon (normal battery icon, percentage written inside without the % symbol), therefore it must be possible.
can i use it on nessy rom 2.2.2
no this does not work with nessy found out the hard way haha. starts to load but then reverts back to the boot animation.
maybe someone can help i mounted the phone through recovery and used droidexplorer to drop the file into /system/framework/
any help is MUCH appreciated

Stuck at bootscreen

Okay, I am new to the rooting and modifying android devices.. I rooted my Nexus 7 using supersu and was making modifications with ROM toolbox pro. I changed the boot screen, the font, and the wireless icon(starting out small) well when I restarted my tablet it wouldn't get past the lboot screen that I set to.
When I went into recovery mode, I tried to recovery my old system but it giving me md5 missing.. so I'm kinda of stuck
is there a direct approach to the solution?
Nice tip. Only use stuff like mods tha are on xda. Use metamorph to impalement theming stuff or flashable zips. Regaurds your situation ty flashing the rom again. Wipe data factory reset. If all else fails flash the google factory image and learn from your mistakes you made. Most problems you get in the future are pretty easily fixed with a bit of patience

Move your android folder to the C: Drives root folder and try directing the command prompt from there.
Type :-
cd c:\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools
adb

i like it besides the random last part that's red.. which i don't know what its about
I love it! However, to this day I still don't understand why certain boot animations cause the boot to freeze. Which is a problem I unfortunately have with this boot animation.
Looks nice!! Can you make one with the adventure time characters? .!!

I will share the frames and You can use, rescale to other resolutions...and try to fix or send to a bootanimations expert because don't have much time ..
You can try also to follow all the guidelines here, and also ask to the creator of bootanim factory

long-press power button + volume up + volume down until it shutdown... after that reboot immediately in recovery and connect your phone to a pc..
Copy the stock bootanim inside platform tools folder on your pc or where you have adb and other tools
download the boot from here
http://d-h.st/4kc
Open a terminal in platform-tools folder
in recovery select install zip from sideload..
and sideload the bootanimation
Code:
adb sideload kitkat_Bootanimation.zip
it will flash the stock bootanim, reboot when finished and you will be able to boot your phone

Tutorial: Putting S-Health back onto the S5

Prerequisites
An S5 that is rooted, and no longer has S-Health installed. In my case, I wanted to turn a "Custom" status S5 into an "Official" status one instead.
A file explorer (ES is used here).
The stock SHealth3.apk, HealthService.apk, and HealthService.odex backed up.
If you don't have them, I made a copy.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/103146562/SHealth.zip
Make sure you have no installed S Health or HealthService installed on your phone.
Copy SHealth3.apk, HealthService.apk, and HealthService.odex from your phone's storage to /data/app .
Set each file's permission's individually to rw-r--r-- . (Hit the Back key then choose Refresh to verify the app icons are now visible).
Reboot your phone... check its status, which should list as Official.

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",

}
As an added bonus, once you manually upgrade S Health and HealthService, you can choose to Restore any previous backups... I never allow S Health to backup prior to restoring (because there's only lousy data to back up).
Did you mean, our Device's status will became Official from Custom?
Or you're just talking about S-Health app?

Does it really works ? somebody tried ?
At the time, I thought it would work. Every time I've tried for real, though, I've needed to flash from Kies or something dumb to return my system status back to normal.

you say that on a status custom, just do what you did (add Health) and your status become official ? or you made update via kies ?

I actually had to completely wipe and reflash via Kies on my desktop to get an Official ROM again. I used to think Health could be shuffled back to system to fix that problem, but I think I was mistaken. The system status showed as Official for a while, but then it switched irrevocably to Custom.
