Multi window on other devics - Galaxy Note II General

Does anyone know if anyone has looked into trying to pull the apk that allows multi window on the note, and trying to port the feature to other devices. The note 2 is an awesome phone and having an upgrade available I'm considering getting it for that feature alone. I am still interested, however, in trying to find out how to get this feature to other devices in the meantime.

[SOLVED] How did they do that?

So, I think it was at some Google show featuring Jelly Bean where they took a JB phone and touched screens with a JB tablet and it transferred data between them. I have a Galaxy Nexus and the N7 and tried making them kiss so much they requested a private room, but I can't figure out how to do that data share between them.
Anyone know what I'm talking about and how to do it?

I had the same problem trying to get the NFC chips to line up or something. I ended up flipping my gnex upside down when they were back to back before I could beam something over.

It's my understanding that it only works with Google apps right now. To get it working make sure both NFC and Android Beam are turned on. After that open up something like the stock gallery or chrome, put both devices back to back and then tap the screen of the phone sending the data. I've never really been able to get it to work with my N7, but it works really well with my Galaxy S III and my brother's S II.

I believe you are talking about NFC? make sure you have it enabled. it is in settings, under wireless&networks, tap "more" and you can enable NFC.
Line up the Gnex battery to the "Nexus" on the back of the tablet in any app like browser, gallery, contacts, etc and it should say touch to beam when they are in range. Worked fine between both my Nexus(I run mwalts stock rooted roms)and S3 with the 7.

Sweet, it worked! I had to move the phone around on the back of the N7. Eventually it made a noise and I was able to beam.
Thanks for the help guys!

Google Wallet Gift Cards

I swear I used to be able to add gift cards (like Container Store, etc) to Google Wallet. Anybody know how to do this or what happened to it???

I can't find anything useful on googles help pages. It just says to enter the gift card.
I sorta wonder if I flashed a ROM that doesnt have this feature (non US???)

I remember, a while back, seeing someone post a support email saying that feature wasn't currently supported with the N4.

Nice. So hard to find anything on the internet for a niche interest. That makes sense. I guess you probably can't just copy over the apk

Custom Folders

Is anyone else having issues with custom Folders not remembering what's in them? If so how do you fix it?

Same thing but it seems sporadic. If you leave something for a day in a folder and then reboot, there is a chance that it will "stick"
Did not find a pattern for this behavior yet.
Do you mean on the homescreen?
Works perfectly fine on Apex...
Nor have I. It's annoying that it happens....funny thing though if I put something in the pre installed folders it sticks.

Dock auto-starts app

I use my old Note 2 desktop dock to charge my Note 4. When I put the Note 4 in the dock, the phone auto-launches a clock app I have installed.
Anyone have any idea how I can stop this from happening?
There does not seem to be any dock-mode settings like there was on my Note 2. I have no idea why it auto-launches this app.
Thanks for the help!
