That's funny cause the thing I hate about it is it's simplicity. Worked perfectly for me in my tests however which is a brave new world for FB.

Dictionery with pronunciation

Is there any dictionery (offline) which says the word to help us pronounce it properly.
Earlier I had such dictionery on my nokia n86

This is a decent offline dictionary, with pronunciations. It even translates for you too...

I have Colordict, and Merriam Webster can also be used offline with pronunciations. Try both!

Lots of keyboard shortcuts appear in many different threads that allow us to access information like software ect, so add your short cut with a brief description of what it does.

It's a $16 app that you are getting for free. It's pretty smooth for all the features it's offering.
You might want to make a backup cos it won't be linked to your Google account,meaning you won't be able to get full version if you install this on a different device.
If your bloatware radar kicked up, you can always install it. No big deal.

If your phone is rooted you can use titanium backup. If not try carbon.

WiFi - Terminal Kill WiFi / Shutdown / Destroy / Something

Hi there,
I have a WiFi problem with my Sensation XE. It tries to activate but it won't and i think this is the main reason for Random Reboots and Battery Drain. Since I like to check out new things, i would like to know if there is any way to kill the WiFi from the terminal.

dummy0
lo
sit0
ip6tnl0
rmnet0 to rmnet7
I have alm those on my razr but with wlan0 also.
Have you tried updating your kernel?

Shared preferences and textview

I originally asked this question in Srackoverflow. But I did not get any answers.
I am trying to set a text view number value to shared preferences using a string to get the values. Can anyone help with this?

Could you elaborate on this?
You want to store the text (which is a number) in the textview to shared preferences?
Code:
mPrefs.edit().putInt("my-key", Integer.parse(mTextView.getText().toString())).commit();
That's correct. I forgot to mention that the number could be a decimal also.

I am actually trying to store the value of a chronometer in SharedPreferences but admittedly I have not worked with SharedPreferences much.
My end goal is to be able to close the Chronometer app and have the chronometer pick up from where it left off when the app is close.
Any help is appreciated.
Code:
chronometer = (Chronometer) findViewById(R.id.Chronometer1);
public void startClick (View view){
chronometer.setBase(SystemClock.elapsedRealtime());
chronometer.start();
Vibrator vib = (Vibrator)getSystemService(Context.VIBRATOR_SERVICE);
vib.vibrate(100);
}
