Paranoid + AOKP+ Cyanogen = SCHIZOID
SCHIZOID is based on AOSP+CM source codes, custom kernel, and has all
the stability of CM, the ROM control of AOKP, and the UI customization of PA..
NOW WITH OnSkreen Cornerstone Multi-window capabilities courtesy of ANTIPHON!
FEATURES
ALL the features of SCHIZOID v1.20
OnSkreen Cornerstone thanks to the efforts of antiphon
Why Choose When You Can Have It All-In-One !!
[INSTRUCTIONS TO FLASH
- Make A Backup
- First time users only: If you're currently running a non-CM10 ROM, do a full wipe (factory reset & system)
- Wipe cache and dalvik
- Flash ROM And Gapps
- Reboot
USER NOTES/BUGS
Everything works including camera, gyroscope, sound, accelerometer, battery stats, etc.
I had a problem with wifi initially connecting, but a reboot fixed it.
You should REALLY expect conflicts between the various ROM controls, especially the UI controls between AOKP and PA.
PA UI reboots may shutdown or hang. Just reboot, i.e. hold power key to restart if shutdown, power and menu keys if hung.
tbob's WebOS Switcher app may work, but be careful.
There may be problems with MTP and reading the sdcard via usb.
No wallpapers allowed. Cornerstone can't handle them.
You can choose to use the Cornerstone app or close it and get the stock interface.

Awesome!!will try this asap

Only wiping cache and dalvic cache broke superuser for me so I did a full wipe , (system etc.) And now everything seems to be fine. Thanks for the ROM shumash.

This looks incredible shumash. So what is about cornerstone that causes the battery drain to be 4-5 times greater?

Looks intriguing. I have been running OaT JB for a while now. Does this ROM require you to create the larger partition?
Sent from my ADR6410LVW using xda app-developers app

This looks pretty freaking cool! Do you reckon we'll see a 4.2.2 release?

Expanding the partition is a good idea yes. You will run into trouble down the road when the partition fills up.

Not sure that it is caused by Cornerstone after all. For some reason, now all my ROMs, including nandroids, have 20mA draws. I think jcsullins said something about having to refresh the drivers if this happened.

If I update the base ROM, I'll update this one.

Big ups to shumash for building this ROM. For those of you having problems connecting to wifi, go to Cornerstone settings and disable Cornerstone at startup. Don't worry you can manually enable it by clicking on the icon. Sometimes the Cornerstone startup conflicts with wifi startup.

Thanks for the tip antiphon. I could not get WiFi going last night and I was too tired to really mess around with it. I'll try your suggestion later today.
Shumash-besides me not getting WiFi last night, I thought this build was awesome. Cornerstone works great & appears to be very stable in your build. I used cornerstone back in the day and have been itching to use it again for quite some time. Thank you.

Shumash, this is beyond awesome! Dirty flashed over 1.20, wiping system just in case. Lots of apps installed (225 according to the after wipe count). Most of them working great with a few exceptions, like imdb that just freezes with a black screen both on main and on corners. Skype crashed at first, now after a few reboots works great. Only issue I have is the notification area frozen, but that started happening to me on 1.20 and I used to fix it killing system ui from rom toolbox, now if I kill it, it doesn't come back to life, will do a full wipe tomorrow.
Also, nova launcher runs on phone ui, ie, with search bar on left instead of on top, any known way to force it into tablet ui?
Performance is excellent, wifi is much better that what I'm used to on one of my two routers, so I'm loving that too.
So, nothing to complain about, congrats on another great rom, hope to see a 4.2+pa3+cornerstone soon but I'll trade the 4.2 advantages for cornerstone on 4.1 all the way.
Thanks man!

Shumash, thank you for improving this great ROM.
I was looking forward to cornerstone a long time and now I can finally use it on my TP :good:
But I have some issues/questions :
1. The lockscreen (pattern) does not work. I always get straight into android when turning the screen on. I disabled and re-enabled it but no chance of getting my device locked.
2. The launcher (Nova) shows up with search bar on the left instead of top and launch bar on the right instead of bottom (which destroys the ui, see the screenshot below) when using cornerstone, even after exiting cs. Rebooting without loading cornerstone it's ok.
3. How to move apps to other sections in cornerstone? I can't find the arrow button to switch.
4. TP doesn't charge, neither with stock charger nor touchstone even if MTP is enabled. In the build 06MAR13 without cornerstone it worked like a charm.
I wiped cache and dalvik cache and installed the ROM and GApps.
Keep up the good work!
slaecker

Great to see Cornerstone back! Thanks for supporting it again! Would hope to see more bugs being ironed out in the future especially the wallpaper bug.

so excited to put a TJ rom on my Gtab once it shows up
any tips tj? i got into app development, so this thing is gonna be my primary tester for tablet apps.
did i make a good decision to get one of these?
thanks for any tips!
-tj! ill finally donate now that im not broke anymore!
Just finished installing both files, no issues. I'm accustomed to clearing all data before and after each installation, so didn't have any issues. I made a quik vid of my experience:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1_CcEWSwMM
A few things:
1) Coming from VEGan 5.1.1, it's rather sluggish. Even after about 6 reboots.
2) The camera takes pics much quicker than VEGan, I like it.
3) didn't come with a filemanager :-(
4) Would not play Samurai 2. Since i feel its a benchmark of how well the ROM works, it a downer for me.
5) Market works and was able to download File Manager
g0t0
Thanks for video!
Any ideas why Samurai 2 not play?
Thank You!
none whatsoever. works with VEGan 5.1.1 and the gADAM builds (just did a vid on the Adam one).

[ROM] Stock-Plus v1.2 - Updated 9-3 [KH3]

I decided to make a modified KH3 stock rom to address the issues that others were having with getting the QuickPanel sound toggle and the AOSP lockscreen working with KH3. Everything in this rom is stock with the below exceptions.
I've tested this successfully several times. You will need cwm to install so follow this link for installing the KH3 kernel with cwm.

Added Gingerbread battery with %
Stock KH3
Rooted, Deodexed, Zipaligned

Downloading right now ... will report back on experience.
Updates: Ok ... I am running it like from last 4 hours now ... did a little cleanup of samsung apk's using nitrality. pulled out framework-res.apk and kitchened it to add flying animations and modified a little bit on AOSP lock screen to fix the unlock/silence handles as the handles were dark grey but the rest of slider was light grey. So got that fixed.
So far so good. No problems except for the browser lag which I am sure is the result of de-odex. I am using a custom browser from market so major to complain.
Once again ... Thanks for putting this together.
Yes I love a stock theme. It will perfect if you mod the battery % too
Thanks
Thank you very much! This will be perfect on my Wife's Captivate. +1 for battery % included, and maybe choice of lock screen?

Wow! This is perfect. I'm still running a 2.2.1 ROM, I've yet to find a GB ROM that is clean and stable with no bugs or issues. The only thing I can think of that's missing is BLN, but I think that requires modifying the kernel, which I assume we can't do yet? I'd love to try this out, but I don't know if I can live without my back-light notifications!
Thanks blitz76 for adding battery mod
I will find the way to add Data toggle into Quick Panel and/or Extended Power menu too
good job man... one suggestion... please add some installation instructions for noobs
I'm going to give this a go. I really like the Aosp lock screen and everyone use sound toggle more than flight mode.
When you do updates would you consider doing no wipe updates for those that have been with you since "day one"?
Are you going to use crt's powermenu mod?
Oh and I don't know if you'd rather have the green Aosp launcher or not like on the nexus s.
But no matter what I can't wait to try what you've put together.
I am very interested in trying this out cause I loved being on KH3 except I had to do a lot of work every time I flashed to get it how I wanted it and this has pretty much everything... except BLN. I hate to say it but that's a deal-breaker for me. I recently flashed CM7 out of curiosity and was so close to flashing back to a trusted ROM because it was missing BLN until I flashed a different kernel. Now I'm pretty pleased but getting BLN on this ROM would bring me back in a second.

Strange, I tried to duplicate what you did and had no problems. I flashed v1.2 full wipe release, then cwm flashed the boog kernel II. It works perfectly.
I think that happens when the string values for extended power menu are missing, or the code in framework.jar isn't there.
Maybe try reflashing the full wipe release...

Great! Yet another rom to try out I'll be waiting for screenies before I try it out. Just a question nims11, does this rom have the 3rd party facebook login problems like the other cm7 based roms? Since this is a problem to a Facebook freak like me, only Jusada's roms don't have this problem.
Nice work! Looks awesome..
good work..hats off mate
but before doing the installation must be done wipe the cache or something?
I also wanted to ask if this rom the bug is present proximity sensor, and if the torch is working properly.
Finally I wanted to ask which is the default setting Launcher

But, CM 7.2 are claimed to be not the most stable based ROM compared to CM 7.1. Does the battery drains?
Hey nims. I'm facing issues... I restored from cwm5. And it says sd-ext format fail. So I ignored it and rebooted my phone. Roms looking great but I'm having Market force close issues... Isit releated to the sd-ext issue?

Thanks a lot nims11 for your efforts! Does this drain battery? Since the original 7.2 by Axel003 was not friendly with my battery. Hence the question.
So glad to see your work again bro. And even better on something completely original, witch is more than can be said for most stuff coming out at the minute. Look forward to flashing when my current projects are finished. It will probably be the last rom I flash on my phone.

I flashed this expecting awesomeness.
I was dead wrong.
This is BEYOND awesomeness. Awesomeness doesn't even reach the tip of comprehension of how HOLY this ROM is.
But I do have some personal issues:
> Because of the full transparency, lots of text are really hard to read.
But that's not forcing you to fix it, of course. I'm just an unknowledgeable end user
Other than that, I love it more than my children.
No, just kidding; I don't have any children.

The best faster and smoothest rom out there with the best launcher
Thank you
I'm looking forward to this! I'm going to flash it tomorrow.

Anyone who cannot seem to turn on Wifi, make sure you are booting AOKP in Moboot. If you are booting AOKP and you still cannot turn on WiFi, then flash the WiFi fix in the OP. This is not the same thing as the other Wifi fixes; it will re-install your boot.img to Moboot, which is the cause of the problem.
Do I HAVE to wipe data coming from the latest nightly? Good to see a new dev for our Touchpad
Could anyone make a video?
No, you shouldn't need to wipe data.
Wipe system and dalvik, make sure to boot AOKP in Moboot.

Ok, so I updated the latest version and so far I'm loving it. I'll probably keep this on my TouchPad instead of CM9. Thank you for this.

Thanks SGA.... AOKP&CM9 looks very, very smooth on the vid... Dare I say... Buttery... This rom will tie me over till JB roms are the norm for the TP in a month or two....
AOKP is my favorite rom type since last year... But I was getting ready to move over to CM9 nightlies for the updates... Now I can have the best of both worlds..
Really appreciate u sharing this...
Guyz... Lets vote this news worthy... This needs to go on XDA's front portal page...:good:
Awesome rom mate! Thank you! V well done!

I think this is still the way....
Change default moboot option on the Touchpad
Even better with u'r newer vid...
Thanks
Yup that is how to do it.
Root explorer
-boot
Mount R/W
Open in text editor -Moboot.default
Change to "AOKP"
Save and exit.
Yes, it is case sensitive. If you type Aopk, aokp, AoKP, or anything that is not exactly AOKP, you'll end up in WebOS.

Very Cool!
Nice job with this, thanks for sharing. I did a full wipe coming from the latest CM9 nightly and currently, everything is working well. When I first installed, I was getting quite a few force closes in some apps and different parts of settings, including Rom Control. It seems to have settled down now and the only thing that still continually force closes is System/About Tablet/Status.
Also, I'm strictly a CM9 guy, so I may not be used to AOKP settings but I had issues with a couple of games not displaying in proper resolution. I played around with the settings and found that if I enable "Allow 180 degree rotation" in General UI, the distorted games display and play properly. Maybe that setting should be enabled by default in the rom??? I've been using Holo Launcher HD, so was glad to see that as your stock launcher and the WebOs like interface for recents is great!
I have one small request at this time. I really like the CM9 Apollo Music Player, maybe you could add that to the rom. I added it to the rom zipfile myself but it would be nice to have it already there if you don't mind having it in the rom.
All in all, this AOKP/CM9 hybrid is very cool and again I thank you for sharing it.
EDIT: One more thing. Saw that you're thinking about Cornerstone and while I think it could be a terrific app, it's really cranky. I had it for a little while when I was using one of OaT's roms a while back and it was a PITA.
Mike T
I am making a list for future updates and will add your requests to it. I can include Apollo, and will look into the force close in Status. I was aware of that, but didn't honestly think anyone went there... lol. I made an experimental Cornerstone ROM in CM9, and it really does not play nice... it doesn't help that Cornerstone hasn't been updated in 7 months. I guess it got abandoned.
Had a cool suggestion from @x000x about OTA updates, sounds pretty promising! Is anyone interested?
Ran into my first problem. I've been using xbmc for android and now it force closes on me with this ROM.

Feedback
Thanks for rebase Jake. The torch app and google search are FC. Looking good besides that so far.
FYI: phone.android crashes hard and sends the device into a boot loop if there's no service.
Thanks Jacob, gonna give this one a try. I'll report back with any findings I get.
Thanks for your work!
EDIT: Upon first boot, before any setup was offered, it said it couldn't detect what country I was in. It was in the phone app/process, and was trying to get something about a country code. Then the phone process crashed, and it brought me to my home screen. Which is fine I guess, I can go through setup in the settings I think.
Very smooth and responsive. Very clean build too, love that.
One bug I've found so far, it that in the camera, when you go into settings and edit something (i.e. number of pixels), those settings become unresponsive to touches, and you have to kill the camera app to access those adjustments again.
EDIT: Quickboot is enabled by default. Switch this off if you want to be able to boot into Hboot/recovery. If not, this does a frickin great job of booting in like 8 seconds or less. Insane. This might be a sense feature though, I think it'll go away when you flash the aosp settings.
Will the incoming and out going call screens eventually become ASOP?
