I think it has something to do with the USB input going too close to the speaker output inside the device.

I am seeing (not frequently) some flickering on top left side of the screen while typing something on chats or texts.

I just got my nexus 4 and today my Google now is showing cards but is not talking is this just mine or is other people experiencing the same issue?

A lot of people are reporting the same problem on the Android Central forums. I have had that happen with my old Gnex. Its a Google thing most likely.
