check mail... BUT check folders?

Hello world!
I've got a big problem (big for me... obiously)
I connect my Kaiser to the Exchange server @ work and I sync all the mails with no problem.
The big prob is that I have more than 1 account that is checked and managed by my mail @ work, so I'm using rules to move the incoming mails to specific folders.
In this way, windows mobile shows me (in htc home) only the mails arrived to the root of mail structure, but it not shows me the others moved into the subfolders.
With FlexMail http://www.pocketinformant.com/products_info.php?p_id=mail& I can use a today plugin that shows me every new mail arrived.
But... is there another way not to have to install a 3rd party app to alert me when new mails arrived?
Or... is there another (and less invasive) app to have a "sign" that new mails are arrived?
Also because I'm waiting for the new Diamond and, as far as I know, the check mail will be the same of my "old" kaiser, so my fear is that I'll not able to know if new mail arrived.
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP plz...
I hate the way of wm to check the mail...
Best regards,
Leo
edit: maybe a mortscript script? dunno if it's possible but...
I would love a solution to this too!
BUMP
no help? :'(
I think Flexmail or other 3rd party app is only solution...

not that i'm aware of... but you can use the GMail ActiveSync option to push your email and sync your contacts and calendar with your phone (as long as you're not already using ActiveSync)...
Im using gmail activesync now and it worked great on my contacts and calander but the emails take almost 30 minutes to send and 30 minutes to receave. even if i manual hit send/receave. is there anything i can do?? i set up for direct push as email arives. is there anything else to speed this up so it works like my old blackberry?

Wait for the real thing and use Android itself, I am beta testing them and it
all work great with syncing up my mail, agenda and contacts. The only thing
were waiting on is to standby your screen, if that works then (for me) its
almost fully tradeable for Windows Mobile.
don't you know you can integrate gmail's email / contact / agenda into the Manila already?
just add an exchange source from m.google.com with your gmail account.
MOD EDIT
Moved to general discussion forum as not related to rom development

Exchange GAL - Global Adressbook

Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a soltuion to see the companies exchange global adressbook on my samsung GT-9000. The Motorola Milestone has an app call motogal.apk. So it was possible to browse and add contacts to my own. The same feature did I use on my htc legend. If you using an exchange mail account on the samsung gt-9000 you can only search the gal during creating a new mail message and then just using the found e-mail adress. Not more. I tried to use the motogal.apk, installed it, opened it, crashed it. Just the app.
Has anybody an idear? I will not using touchdown a other third party apps. thx
regards
It would be really nice if someone could included it (motoGAL, CorpGAL or anything like that) to his ROM. Or even better make a package that could be installed and running on any froyo ROM.
Thanks

[Q] Contacts: Google or Mobile?

Hi,
When my BT connection with the carkit still worked (see threath ' BT problems') I noticed that my contacts were displayed more then one time with the same phonenumber.
Looking in Contacts on the DHD I can see that the information inthere contains 'Google' and 'Mobile'. Probably the Googlesync and the Outlooksync.
Which one do you guys use and why.
Problem is that I want to use the sync on my pc between Googlecontacts and Outlook so I don't have to change or add things twice, but I only need one contact on my phone
Thanx!
Leon
Hi,
Well from what I know is that if you use google contacts it uploads and syncs your contacts to your google account where as with the normal phone contacts it stays on your phone unless you have a HTC Sence account which syncs them to their site.
Hope that helps a bit.

Okay, Thanx. I do have a Sense account, but somehow they also stay on my DHD, while I only checked the Google-box.

Exchange ActiveSync missing?

Hi everyone,
today I got my Huawei P9 lite and it replaced my old Nokia Lumia 1020.
I'm absolutely happy with the P9 lite's performance and handling so far after I switched to Google Now launcher and modified some settings. The only thing that annoys me is thefact, that there is no Exchange ActiveSync option in account management. The simple Exchange account allows synchronization of one calendar only. I am a outlook.com user and have two calendars, one private and one shared with my wife. My Sony Xperia Z3 (company issued device) running on Android as well offers Exchange Active Sync accounts and as such synchronizes all calendars.
I searched the forum for "active sync" but did not find a single entry. I can't imagine I am the only one with this requirement. Is there a way to get ActiveSync with any custom or stock rom?
Best, Stefan

no custom ROM yet so...no support... never heard of what you asked but a search on Google returned an interesting app for email that uses EAS https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ninefolders.hd3
Edit:
Also you can try sideload the app from your Sony
Also i misread your question... take a look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1376386

thanks a lot, snapdesign.
I found Nine while browsing the appstore .. pardon .. the playstore but did not notice it is what I need.
I installed Nine and it synchronizes all outlook.com calendars, exactly what I was looking for. :good:
