If you modify/remove a system app, updates will fail during the install process.

upport for the “apps to sdcard” hack. There’s not a separate “apps to sdcard” build. You can use the same build whether you are doing apps to sdcard or not. Thanks to haykuro for explaining how he’s done this in his images, so I can make my builds compatible. See here for a tutorial on setting this up.

adp vs. regular g1
Are there any differences between the 1.5 adp image and the one t-mobile will-be/is pushing out to the rest of the g1 units?
Also, thanks much JF!

Is there a specific reason why on some ROMs u have to do this and others not like in cyanogenmod? Just curious

the difference is a script that grabs you google apps and reinstalls them after flashing the update, thats all. its just that some chose to add it, others dont.

Nougat Advanced Power Menu

Anyone created one? Willing to share?
Anyone? Bumping...
Well for one thing, Nougat isn't officially out yet for the S7 units. You might want to ask the beta testers in the beta thread.

I use to use tibu to reboot, even though I got this one installed as well. It's not an issue, I just wondered if I could get the advanced options in the built in menu.

Disable updates in settings.
Why not just install the update as it's already downloaded?
Flashfire will automatically find it and install it with root.
