[JB] Deodexed Apps and Framework files, downloadable one by one.

Hello everyone!
I have deodexed and uploaded every single .apk and/or .jar file to a Google Drive folder for everyone that wants to use a file without downloading a whole firmware. I hope that this is gonna help users and future themers and modders.
The files are all taken from the Jelly Bean Stock Official XXAME1 firmware, deodexed, and then directly uploaded to my Google Drive folder.
Take a look at the folder and let me know your opinion about this.

Oh, just one more thing! I'm new to the Galaxy SIII Mini community, some of you may know me. I have created a couple of themes and mods for the Galaxy S Advance. Check them out! You may want some of these available to the SIII Mini! :good:

That is what I was looking for too when I decided to make this. I needed the framework for a new mod for the SIII Mini but I couldn't find just the framework-res.apk file. There should be a folder like this for every device. :good:

[Q] Can we add photos to Wallpaper gallery in SGY?

Hi,
I have Samsung Galaxy Y and I have installed the JellyBlast ROM on my SGY. My concern is can I add my pics to the Wallpaper gallery in my SGY?

If you want to know, search the development section. It was banned long ago.

Yes, the ROM is banned but the question was not regardin the ROM, the question was about the wallpapers.
Yes, you can add them, Use root explorer and then
Go to System>media and there would be an appropriate folder, if not I guess there is a system app behind it whih needs to be edited.

for adding it to the wallpaper gallery you have compile the twallpaperchooser.apk in system/app folder
or for changing your wallpaper just select the pic and in options set it as wallpaper

Or u can simply download creedwallps.apk
If u want ur wallpapers! Simply chnge the existing ones using 7zipFM......I can u don't knw how to compile/decompile

Is it possible to port galaxy s5 download booster and new look and feel of S5 to Note 3
I have seen one thread in xda saying that they ported download booster to Galaxy S4

If it can be done, i`am sure a dev will be on it soon or maybe allready working on it

vn rom for n900 already have boster download.
But never try work or not

i just test that feature on S5 . it's really awesome :good:

In case you haven't figured out yet, but a recent update for the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3 includes Download Booster. I have yet to test it's functionality as I am waiting for the big file for last as my phone restores all my apps from the Play Store. It also shows that the mobile connection used for the Download Booster is 4G LTE.

Oh, and I just saw a news article in a google search that the Sprint Note 3 has Download Booster. I'm thinking the AT&T Note 3 will not have it, just like the S5 did not have it. I do not know about the LTE status on other carriers but I imagine they would have the LTE capability.

i think its available by custom rom that transform the note 3 to s5 this need root

How to port Apps, Mods etc. from S5 Rom to i9506?

Hello,
I want to create a Mod or a Rom for the i9506, which is like the S5 Stock rom. So i want theme, apps, launcher and so on to be on the i9506, but i dont know how to port that. I know, that there are several Roms and Mods already for the i9500 or i9505, but they mostly do not work on the i9506, thats because I am asking here.
I hope, you can tell me how i have to do that!

Method removed as does not work for your model and thus should not become a large damage method.

At times they work. Like when i was porting a mod from s2 on my galaxy R all i did was change the binaries..and voila! It worked.
See if the framework matches.. the almost near to i9506 is i9505
Change and flash at your own risk. I aint a pro at modding.
But check that the framework should match...
If it doesnt work, then you have to decompile the APK first, play with the files around by learning from other tutorial and guide XDA threads..
At times the smali files have to be edited too..so..
As i said changing binaries can work..but not always..they can cause an error too..
Have a backup..try this shortcut.

Another question that comes is where to get binaries of i9506..
All you have to do is copy and paste it from the meta-inf/com/google/android folder of a I9506 FLASHABLE ZIP
And replace it it the I9505 flashable zip.
This works at times..at times ir doesnt fully work or work at all..

hey, thanks for your quick answer ^^ but sadly, that way doesnt work. my phone doesnt want to reboot and stucks at the first boot logo, not even samsung logo appears D:

But you can just put your phone in download node and flash the stock rom..all will be well again..
