No fancy change, only color change from "Red" to "Blue","Yellow" & "Black".
Include the "Communication" Tab.
Thanks to sushilange for the "Manila editor" program and the "Vodafone Red" theme.
1. You need Winzip to unzip 2 Winrar files in it. Then use Winrar to further unzip the rar files to get the theme file.
2. Save Vodafone theme into your diamond folder "internal memory/Themes"
3. Use "Diamond TF3D Config V0.67" and select the Vodafone theme.
4. Once complete change over, do a reset.

Not sure wat happen. I tried on my diamond using TF3D Config with no problem.
Here's another way you can change the theme:
1. Use winzip to open the theme file.
2. Extract all manila files in it to your diamond 'Window' directory.
3. When prompt to overwrite, click 'yes'.
4. Once copy completed, soft reset your diamond.
5. Done.
**Note: Always perform backup before make any changes. Use at your own risk.

lol srry matey i mean the acer logo boot screen, i got the nice blue flashing alienware alien head for animation credit to JaeKar99
Kay..... I've been fiddling around trying to find a way to do that myself..... I'll let you know if I ever find anything useful :fingers-crossed:
I've managed it on my Viewsonic GTab but no luck on the A500 so far
Ok guys, here ya go.
First. All credit goes to Skrylax_CZ and blackthund3r. All I did was record the process and post. skrylax_CZ's thread is here.
My setup for this is a Win7 64bit pc and an A500, stock rooted with V8 bootloader. You will be prompted to plug in the tablet at the appropriate time. So for now have it unplugged from the USB.
What you need.
A charged Tablet.
Installed V8 Bootloader by Scrylax_CZ (You can use V4 through V7, but your image will need to be 268x72. in other words... tiny. All images below depict an install with the V8 bootloader.)
A complete backup. (This is, after all, at your own risk.)
Your SBK number or your CPUID so you can get your SBK.
Current A500 drivers from Acers site.
An Image that is 1280x800. (If V4-V7 bootloader, use 268x72.).
Skrylax Green Background zip
(Or if V7 or less go here and grab the appropriate zip, not apx.).
Skrylax_CZ's BootLogo tool
And blackthund3r's APX flash tool
Here we go. Create a folder and unzip the three packages that you've downloaded. You should have a folder that resembles this.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now select and open the folder named 'A500BootLogo_105_v8plus_win'. Open the program A500BootLogo.exe. You will see this.
Choose 'File' then 'Open'.
Browse to the folder where you unzipped your files and open the 500_a501_bootloaders_apx_ics_v8_green folder. Choose the file bootloader.bin.
You should see this.
Choose 'Image' then browse to the folder where your new bootlogo image is. THE IMAGE MUST BE 1280x800!!!
Here is mine.
That's Daisy!
Now I see this...
Next choose 'File' and then 'Save'. Name the file whatever you want, just leave the .bin extension alone.
Close the Bootlogo tool. Now choose and open the folder blackthund3r_A500_APX_Flash_Tool_v0.4. Open the application A500APXFlash.exe.you should see the image below. Click the blue arrow.
Enter your SBK number. Then click the blue arrow.
Select to 'Choose the files you want yourself' button. Click the blue arrow.
Tick "bootloader" then hit the arrow.
Choose the file that you named and saved earlier. Hit the arrow.
Time to plug your tab into the usb on your pc.
Skip this, just hit the arrow...
If you are rooted, choose to dump your BCT. You won't have but only one button until after you've completed this. The pic shows three buttons because I already have the files. Once it is finished hit the arrow.
Choose the 'Automatic' tab then "Enter APX Mode" button.
If your drivers aren't in order you will see this. Oops! (If this happens to you. Just make sure your tab is unplugged from the pc and download and install the drivers from the links in the window.)
If your drivers were (or are now) up to date you should get this after clicking the arrow.
The program will start it's job. You will see this on your tablet. It is my old BootLogo and at the top left it says "Entering Acer Download Mode".
Next you will be asked if your tablet is in APX mode or something like that. If your screen has the message at the top left as mine did the choose yes.
The program will once again begin working. Once it has finished you will see this.
And the program on your pc will be asking you to power down and then restart your tablet. When you restart you should see your new bootlogo! Here's mine for now...
Hope that clears that up just a bit.
nice guide, thanks for this:good:
yes nice one JdgM3NT4L cheers or that fella i could find that one anywhere
so i cant do it on the v7? damn lol
once again cheers for finding that for me,

Well, yeah you can do the same method using the v7 bootloader. Just make sure that your image is 268x72 instead of 1280x800.
Also goto Skrylax_CZ's download page here and grab your bootloader version.zip
It's just gonna be a little picture that fits into the area where the ACER is now.
But for a full screen shot of Daisy goodness you gotta go with v8.
EDIT; My post above is now updated.

Thanks sooo much for your help.

I figured I'd toss this out there as a way for us to pull together (hopefully) as a community.
Since ParanoidAndroid is based off of CM10, should the settings in apns-conf.xml (which I extracted and attached - just remove the ".zip" at the end of the file name) be the same on CM10?
I had applied the APN tweaks to CM10 (proxy/port settings) previously, and with this post had compared the info - and it's different. Just wondering if all these changes should be made to the APN settings.
I would imagine that all Sprint devices should have the exact same APN settings, but I could be wrong.

At first that's what I thought but after trying and trying I came to the conclusion that it wasn't going to work so thats why the differences on my xml from the default sprint settings, im not certain if this settings will work for any other ROMs but it works great on the 4.1.1 Paranoid.
Follow the steps carefully and give it another try

I didn't use this (the OP's) tweak because I'm on CM10, not ParanoidAndroid.
All I was asking, is this tweak applicable (settings-wise) to CM10? The tweak for CM9/10 for APN's is not as involved as this; this fix changes a lot more of the settings on the APN page.

If someone is still looking at this thread, please set a new bookmark for the
Materialised theme thread in the general Themes and Apps section.
It's the only one I'm updating and monitoring.
Q&A
How to...
...install the theme:
The theme zips are not flashable. First installation has to be done manually:
Download the theme of your choice and rename it to "ui.zip".
On SD card (if device has internal and external storage, use the internal) open TWRP folder and create a folder called "theme", without capital letters.
Copy ui.zip to theme folder.
Restart to recovery.
...change the theme:
In Materialised settings, select CHANGE THEME.
Select the theme zip you want to use.
Confirm the change.
...remove the theme:
In Materialised settings, select the delete icon on the app bar.
Confirm the removal.
Alternatively, delete the ui.zip from /sdcard/TWRP/theme with a file explorer.
...change the recovery splash screen
In order to change the splash, one must unpack the recovery image, replace the splash and then repack the image.
This can be done using the Android Image Kitchen by @osm0sis, which is available for Windows, Linux and Android (mobile AIK).
The Materialised theme provides a front end for using the mobile AIK.
General prerequisites:
Make sure the splash screen you want to use is in .jpg format and matches your screen resolution (e.g. 1920x1080).
Splash samples can be found along with the themes in the resolution specific download folders over here.
Download a stock TWRP recovery image for your device.
Samsung users have to download .img files or pull them from the .tar files. Repacking .tar files won't work.
Change the splash while in recovery:
Download the AIK-Mobile-Installer.
Flash the AIK zip in recovery.
This will install the required scripts and binaries to \data\local\AIK-mobile.
In Materialised settings, select CHANGE SPLASH.
Select the stock TWRP .img file.
Select the .jpg file you want to use as splash screen.
Set options:
If Automatically install... is unchecked, the repack will only be created and saved to the same folder as the stock TWRP image.
If checked, the repacked recovery will also be installed on your device.
If Include current theme... is checked, the theme in its current state (accent color) will be included in the repack, replacing the stock TWRP ui.
The ui.zip will automatically be deleted from /sdcard/TWRP/theme, as it is no longer required.
Be aware that changing the accent color won't be possible with an integrated theme.
In general, I'd recommend to not include the theme into the repack. By keeping the ui.zip, there's always the stock ui as a fallback option in case there's something wrong with the theme.
Start repacking/flashing with a swipe.
During the process, Repacking in progress... will be shown.
Change the splash on a Windows PC:
Download and unpack Android Image Kitchen Win32.
Copy the stock TWRP .img file to the Image Kitchen folder.
In windows explorer, drag & drop the recovery image on the "unpackimg.bat".
Unpacking will create two new folders (ramdisk and split_image).
Rename the splash of your choice to "curtain.jpg" and drop it into /ramdisk/twres/images.
Hit "repackimg.bat".
This will create a "image-new.img", which you can then flash away using your preferred method.
...install image files while in recovery:
The theme currently utilises the Flashify script by @osm0sis to install boot, radio and recovery images.
The script comes with the theme and will automatically be installed to /sdcard/TWRP/flashify if required.
On the Install page, tap on Install Zip.
Select Install Image.
Select the .img file you want to flash.
Select the image type.
This selection determines the target partition. Make sure not to flash a radio.img to the boot partition...
Start flashing with a swipe.
...use the AROMA File Manager:
AROMA File Manager is not part of the theme.
The theme just contains a "shortcut" for directly starting AROMA FM, rather than going through the "install > flash zip" procedure.
Download this flashable zip.
Flash the zip in recovery.
This will copy the Aroma FM package to \TWRP\aromafm.
In Materialised settings, tick the option to use Aroma FM.
From the main menu, the theme will now start Aroma FM instead of the TWRP file manager.
...resolve common issues
When I reboot to recovery, the theme isn't applied. Any ideas?
This is most likeley due to wrong naming of the theme folder or the ui.zip.
Make sure the folder is named "theme", without capital letters.
Also check if you accidentally renamed the downloaded zip to "ui.zip.zip" (common pitfall when renaming the zip in windows explorer).
When I reboot to recovery, I get a "recovery bootloop". Is my phone broken?
Nope, this is most likeley due to a bad download.
Please download the theme again using another browser or app.
Splash Screens with and Recovery Repacks
Resources for creating custom Splash Screens
I've prepared a Splash Set for users to create their own splash screen from. The Splash Set contains:
an SVG file that can be edited using Inkscape
Roboto True Type Fonts (install them before you start to edit the SVG)
a folder with 1080x1920 sample curtains
Download: Splash Set
Preview: Gallery with sample splash screens created from the SVG
Collections of Splash Screens
If you want to share your splash screens, please prepare a post other users can download them from.
This post will then be linked from here.
Only splash collections will be linked (sets that cover multiple resolutions or accent colors for a certain resolution).
Dark splash screen set provided by @Primokorn.
Download from his original post and don't forget to thank him...
Collections of Recovery Repacks
If you want to share your recovery repacks, please prepare a post other users can download them from.
This post will then be linked from here.
Only repack collections will be linked (sets that cover all accent colors for a dark or light base version).
Awesome work! As mentioned many times
The themes linked in this thread contain some final adjustments. They're not the same as the beta versions you might already use, so please download them again.
2810 theme version is already online. The only difference is the use of True Type Fonts.
Working great on OnePlus One and its looking great! Thanks for your work!
Thanks for staying in recovery more often...he he

Great work mate :highfive:
I like it!!! Thank you.
What's the 281x version? I don't see mention of a 2.8.1.x anywhere on TWRP's site at all.
AWESOME

I still don't know why you did this post, since there's already one from the original author.
Hmmm, I really don't see the point in this thread as the original thread by the original creator has everything you need to know plus a video tutorial which goes through basically everything in this OP. Let's keep everything to the original thread where bug reports can be posted and possibly fixed.
