Invisble shield hard to apply, TIPS?

I had it on my herald and it went on easy and looked great. Putting it on the fuze its alot harder and it looks pretty bad, i got the full protection, but just screen coverage alone gave me alot of issues.
Any tips?
I followed the instructions carefully

Did you watch their youtube videos? They have them on their website. I have a feeling (waiting for mine to arrive) that this will not work out for full protection. I should have watched the videos earlier.
You have to seriously molest the shield to make it attach to the corners. There is a penalty for spending too much time or not enough time on molding it. There is also a penalty for finger oils, too much liquid, not enough liquid, blah blah blah. This is no Shamwow!
I will try to record me putting it together on mine for the first time so we can share in the fun.
Their videos are like step 1...step 2...step 154,987...hahaha
I love knowing that we are about to spray a plastic product with a bunch of liquid and then adhere it mere millimeters away from the warranty voiding pink water sensitive tabs.
Man, Im a negative SOB on something I have never tried. Sorry Zagg I will correct myself if needed.
Perhaps I should have gone with one of the brands I used for my 8125 or my x61tablet.

Can someone who has applied an Invisible Shield to a Touch Pro/Fuze, please post a good quality, up close picture of how it looks after installation? I have looked at their site, but all the pics as fairly small.

i installed mine 2 days ago and at first i was like ****ttttt cause it had lots of bubbles and looked just awful but they do work themselves out and now i have only one that has coninuously gotten smaller but of course its right in the path of sliding in tf3d hopefully it moves out as well
havent tried the back yet

You should all return your InvisibleShield and buy a real full body kit with BodyGuardz.
Way better then the crap you get from Zagg and BodyGuardz give you 2 full kits.

According to InvisibleShield there doesn't have one either. Just had a buddy of mine order one from them. All they have right now is the TouchPro. I guess just wait it out until they have with the PTT already cut out. I am going to modify mine when I get it. I'm not that picky about it. Just trying to save people the trouble of ordering from Zagg. Probably the worse customer service I had ever experienced.

I just ordered a full body kit from ghost armor, it should be here in a few days. Any one ever used it? I assume they are all about the same as far as installation. I have just the screen protection from body gaurdz right now, it has a lot of drag on the screen (stylus doesn't slide very well)

Contacted Zagg they approved my return. Im assuming the guardz is the same type of material as Zagg uses? Reason being, on the touch screen it provides a much better feel that other screen protectors.
Cant really explain it buy it sort of gives you a light grip its an amazing feel compared to a bare screen or a normal screen protector in general

To be fair, I have used InvisibleShield's on my Tilt, MDA, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP and those things are indestructible! After 1-3 years, they are all still going strong.

I'm curious to see how well the invisibleshield went on the back of the fuze. I was thinking of getting it, but just for the back. I use on all of my devices with screens the boxwave anti-glare. Some ppl argue that it dims the screen, makes it look less sharp, and I disagree. They make all my devices from my Palm Lifedrive down to my Sony PSP usable outside, and that's a biggy for me. So the first thing I'm doing when I open my fuze box is going to be taking the already unwrapped boxwave and putting it on, before I even turn on the device.
But the back worries me, it seems like a scratch magnet, and I want to get that protected too. Anyone want to post pics from their installs? How hard was it with all those facets?

Well they might be strong but there customer service is compared that of Raiders offensive production this season. Abysmal.
I have never in my life been so admiment about asking for a return. I have dealt with mobile providers customer services, which by industry standards is always pretty bad, but Zagg has reached a new low.
I never said they had a horrible product by any means, but there Customer service was enough to make me post, not only this post but numerous others about the company. Whoever is running the company needs to make a serious adjustment on the way they handle customers. I ordered a InvisibleShield or I should deem it "The Shield that never came to be" on Saturday the 15th. The informed that the Shield would be shipped in 3-5 business days. Never heard a response after 5 business days. When I e-mailed the company asking them about it. Nothing. No response for 2 days. When I asked the "Customer Service Represenative" about where the order was all the could tell me was that it was processing.
When I called for further clarification all I could get was the same answer and the lady on the phone told me "I have no idea why it hasn't shipped yet" When I told her my complaints about the company all she said in response was, "I'm sorry to heard that." Not, how can I make this better for you. Or I will check on your order right now and make sure that it's shipped out today. I immediately there after cancelled my order and sent my money else where. Of course I have to wait 3 - 5 business days for my money to be returned to my bank account. Funny that it took less then 12 hours for them to take the money but takes 3 - 5 business days for the money to be put bank into my account. Funny how that works.
If you are happy with InvisibleShield, then so be it. I just wanted other people on XDA to know about the horrible customer service that I experienced.
A side note. Another fellow XDA member purchased a invisbleshield the day after I ordered mine. He received his order last Wednesday. How does somebody who ordered the same exact product in the same state one day after me get the product before me. What's funny about though is that he received a invisibleshield for another phone not the Fuze.

what you done realize is, the minute your hit purchase you had your invisiheild. You can't fault them for not shipping you something you had all along. i think if you look hard enough you miiiight...juuuust miiight see how inviable this shield really is. and when you see your inviable shield, you'll enjoy it that much more! here here for invishield...a job well done!

The point of getting the Zagg is I dont Need two kits...
Ill post pics of mine should get mine in the mail today or tomorrow. I've applied Invisible shields to almost a dozen devices and I've only had it come out with extra bubbles once when I wasnt as careful with my Sansa Fuze (my phone and mp3 players are both Fuzes now...neato)

Like I said. If you are happy with your product then so be it, but just don't say I didn't warn you.
Oh and Rzanology it did say HTC Fuze when I ordered it not HTC Touch Pro so once again it's Zagg fault.

HTC Touch Pro Battery cover

Ok so I lost my battery cover in a bar =/ , I looked around and found this expansys thread:

I was thinking of that kind of painting when I started to get pissed off of the finger dust on my Fuze... thanks for the info... now i know which paint I'm looking at.
As for the expansys (expensive) case, i got my pre-ordered for $15 (shipping to Canada is way too expensive, so I've asked a friend to do me a favor and ship it to me)
The shipping cost from expansys to Canada is exaggerating (we're talking about $30 for the case + $20 for shipping).... It's stupid. I asked my friend to buy me a $2 bubble envelop and ship it with a stamp
I don't know why people on XDA promote expansys so much, their products are expensive... the service is so so and international shipping is just stupid.

i ordered from them in mid January, received 2 "delayed" emails then today they refunded my money. Looks like i might just get it from expansys, says they have them in stock

Order got cancelled yesterday, then they said:

Got mne from Exspasys came in 2 weeks ago It took a while but it Did come and it's the real Touch pro Oem Rubber Battery Cover not the finger print Att Fuze Cover ..lol

I received mine, as described, shipping tool a week or so to Canada.
Once it was actually in stock, they were quite diligeant

This cover is for the Extended 1800mah OEM battery.
I got this one as well, the device is pretty thick and massive. Battery last a good two days with this one compared to a little over a day with the regular one.

I'll update: I ordered one from msgdigital.com and it arrived quickly. It is great! I love it better than the glossy, especially since I had accidentally scratched the back of my original Fuze battery cover...
I had no problems from MSGDigital.com. Just wanted to post that in light of the problems people had with expansys...

ok so I see you guys are looking for cases and what not, if your just looking to get a better color for your battery cover (black would be my choice) you guys could dye it yourselves without having to spend much money at all, everything you need should be under $2 and it will only take about 20 minutes to do.
All you have to do is go to your local Wal-Mart and buy some RIT dye, the powder kind, then get a pot with water and heat it up enough that it would burn if you stuck your finger in there but not so much that its boiling, then mix the dye in there and sumberge your battery cover completely in there, you don't have to worry about covering or removing the camera lense cover or anything, the dye shouldn't stick to that part of the battery cover and it shouldn't stick to the inside of your battery cover because of the type of material. You should stir the pot with your battery cover in it for 15 minutes then take it out and rinse it under water until all the extra dye has come off. You now should have a black battery cover that looks like it came that color stock. There are some pictures and success stories and basically a run down of what I just said in a thread over at PPC Geeks which is where I usually linger around.

Yeah call them up when you get a chance and they will refund you £30 - I haven't done this personally as I didn't buy from JL but people on this forum got refunds when JL dropped price from £450 to £400 and @bu11d0g is saying he has got price match refund from the initial £480 price.

Thank you. I received the tablet under complex circumstances anyway. I actually didn't know I'd receive it since I got a cancellation email and was waiting for the refund from paypal (still waiting) to buy one again. I was initially going to wait, but then I got an email saying my tablet was being dispatched and effectively got charged for this tablet and right now my bank account looks like I've bought the tablet twice. I figured since it was too late to cancel and it would be arriving anyway I decided to keep it. I kind of regret it now lol but I do hope I'll be able to price match with them. Thanks for this info, otherwise I wouldnt have bothered walking into the store where they had loads in stock so bought a white one ... however the assistant first brought out a box with one seal broken (can't say for sure if she knew or not but I will give benefit of the doubt) but when I told her about it she seemed a tad shocked and got me another straightaway. Don't get why samsung don't just have that plastic film like on ipads or other devices as it would be plainly visable if it had been opened/tampered with. Oh well i have mine now so all is well :good:.

Thanks for that infomation, I filled out there online price match form last night, and got a conformation e-mail today telling me they have credited me the £30. Very happy (and somewhat surprised)

Saga Continues
Update:
So I called up my local John Lewis to check the store stock, they tell me they have the Note 10.1 2014 in stock so she says its reserved for you now so come into store and pick it up within 3 days. Me being all excited I head out for JL straight away. I get there, find an assistant...she pops into the back and walks out with a brown wooded box so I get even more excited - on closer inspection its a Tab 3 10.1, I tell her its the wrong one, she apologieses and pops back into the stock room and returns empty handed once again apologising that there is no Note 10.1 left. So that was a wasted journey and go home sad and empty handed.
So try 2...I call up on wednesday and once again I'm told they have stock and its on hold - I repeat many times "Note 2014" and even mension I've already had a wasted trip and she goes " I have personally placed it on the shelf myself", I was catching a domestic flight home and as soon as I land I make the way to the shop and the exact same thing happens, obviously I was a tad annoyed by this stage, I didnt really mind the first time as mistakes happen but twice!
The assistant understood my annoyance and in the end he said whenevever it comes back into stock I will get a £30 discount...so in total the tablet will cost £340...I left tabletless once again but atleast I will get a good deal whenever I do buy it. Patience is a virtue haha.

HTC One M8 replacement screen

Thought i should post this story as some may find interesting
After having my new M8 for 4 days and leaving the phone screen up on my desk, my 4 year old while reaching for a stone she had previously brought me a few days earlier, dropped the stone straight onto the screen breaking it.
I wasn't too happy, but accidents happen and we have grown attached to her and my wife wouldn't let me put her up for adoption.
I tried a couple of local phone repairs places who all refused to take it on. Finally contacted HTC to see if they would repair. Firstly i tried the "why don't we have screen cover in Europe" which didn't work, in the end agreeing i would need to pay for the repair.
HTC organised UPS to collect and i have to say the service was excellent and you all will be pleased to hear total cost to replace screen, including pick up and return....£106...

We may not have HTC advantage in Europe but at least they are not ripping us off either.

Hi,
My puppy got hold of my HTC M8 this morning and I stumbled across this site looking for an idea of cost to repair, can I ask you how badly yours was damaged, mine in the the top right hand corner, but it appears to have affected the whole screen, touch still works all over it though so guessing that's a good thing?
I've arranged for them to pick it up tomorrow, dreading the bill, but got to have it fixed, only got it last Monday :crying:

106£ is not too bad. My friend broke the screen in his sgs3. Screen with frame cost 119£.

I paid 180 euro (150 pound) for a screen replacement here in belgium..

to be honest felt cheated, because like me if you have orderd phone straight away while looking at HTC one M8 mobile launch there was not clarification made by the person who annouced six months screen warranty which otherwise applies to anywhere in world.
if someone at the top level talking about features, specs and all other sales promises then should be aware about the importance of it when saying it in front of the global audience.
now when contacted HTC i have been asked to read terms and conditions. since HTC desire I have bought every phone they launched. But not anymore.
Personally felt that there is nothing for being loyal to brand anymore.
Me now saying good bye to HTC, doesn't matter how good they are but for me they cheat.

Ordered from tropical_mobile on eBay? Here's what you can expect inside

I placed a pre-order from tropical_mobile on eBay since I decided the H815 model was the best choice overall, for me. They offered two day shipping as well, so it was sort of a no brainer at that point. I paid a few pennies shy of $700, but they have since significantly dropped the price down to $630, so your patience will be rewarded if you decided to wait! As their listing states, it comes with some goodies, and I thought I may as well post a few pics of said goodies in case anyone was wondering.
There is no extra back piece included. Just thought I'd get that out of the way in case anyone was wondering. It only comes with the back that you ordered. In my case, that's the black leather - and I love it!
I'm a bit peeved that I could've saved $70 by waiting a few days, but I'm one impatient as hell sonofabitch, so I'll just deal with it haha.

I ordered from them as well. Mine had a tracking number issued but sat for 3 days saying label created. After emailing them it magically moved (could be coincidence) and is now on plane for delivery tomorrow. Ordered at $646 for non leather back and saw it dropped: no biggie as I signed for PayPal credit to finance over 6 months. If I don't like it, Swappa here it comes!

i did get a pretty generic gray adapter from them. Seems its the same most ebay phone sellers supply.

Why even include all that extra garbage? I will just throw all that extra trash away. They should have included an extra that is actually worth something, like an extra back cover or an extra battery.
I ordered a brown leather G4 from them last night by the way for $629. Already got a Fedex notification that it should be here tomorrow morning. Said something about Singapore. Crazy if it ships from there in a day and a half.

Strange.. ordered on monday morning and havent receive a tracking number from ebay... will create a account on fedex to see what happens.

Mine just showed up at home and I ordered it last Wednesday. I can not wait for work to be over.

You sure? I got no email from eBay or Tropical Mobile telling me that it shipped. I only know they sent it because I have a Fedex account that is set up to notify me when a packaged is sent that is addressed to me.
It is coming direct from Singapore by the way. Confirmed.

Ordered from them, didnt use the screen protector included though, I just left the one that was pre applied on the phone (yes I know)

Go naked. The screen is curved a little so even if you set it face down, the screen won't be touching and won't get scratched.

I picked up one from them as well, red leather.
I paid $674 on Saturday, they sent me a tracking number on Monday, and the phone arrived this morning in good working order.
So far, I think this is an awesome phone, and although I could have saved a few bucks by not being impatient, it was worth the 674 to me at the time, so it's hard to say I got hosed.
Either way, great seller, hopefully I won't be using them for a long time!

true true. however I have always had issues with my screens getting scratched, it drives me nuts!

Is that a particular FedEx feature? I just created an account but dont see that option/setting anywhere

Those of you who already received the order from this seller, can you post the full model number? I'd like to know the bands that it supports. I want to use it with Bell in Canada but also in south america (Chile)
