[Q] How to modify /system & /cache partition size?

My phone is HTC Magic 32A.
The partition detail as below:
/system: 170MB
/cache: 130MB
/data: 165MB
I want to reduce some space of /system & /cache, and add it to /data.
How to do that? How to modify the partition size?
If someone knows, please give me a step by step instruction!

hi , i want modify my shv-E300s(galaxy s4 kr ver..)
i want create one more partitionand i will try format as custum ext4 filesystem.
actually i have two question.
first is : How can i modify my phone`s internal filesystem layout???
-use thor???
and second is how can i format as my custom filesystem?
i will modify inode struct and i will add some operation for it.
but i don`t know how to fomat as my custom filesystem...
i have only two hint (use e2fsprogs and mke2f) but i can`t understand it...
help me guys...

how do I trim EXT4 partitions ?

hi guys,
I have a D803 with ext4 partitions. I understand that EXT4 needs trimming - downloading and running fstrim throws error about relocatable binaries.
I'm currently running CM 13.
How do you guys trim your disk ? or has everyone moved to F2FS ?

FAT32 partition is not recogonised in lg optimus l3 E400

Hello guys I'm using LG optimus L3 E400 and I am running out of system storage. I know about rooting and Link2SD app but it doesn't work.
I created the 1st partition as Fat32 and the second as Ext2 , and also vice versa using rom manager, CWM recovery, ESus partition tool. But nothing helped me..
I can create the mount script and the mount script works. But the first partition is not recognized. It says a Blank SD or Unsupported.
Please tell me how to do it if I am doing it wrong.
I use a 2 GB SD
