hi there. im sorth of new @ this but i was hoping to find help here in the forum. im trying my hardest to root my lg l7 p708 version october 17 2012, but i cant find a way to root it and still have my camera of 8 megapixels working. id like to at least root it and keep a 5mgpixel on it. thank you sooo much if u could help me,,please?

hi everyone newbie here please go easy haha .. got my lgg2 a couple weeks ago and managed to root it last night , still reading up on the best way to install a recovery .. is freegee the way to go ? im in the uk and its locked to the 3 network .. software version .. D80210b-234-20 .. build number JDQ39B ...i understand that i should only flash roms from the 802 section on xda but is there anything else i need to know ? is the 10b part important ?? as ive seen 10a 10f etc ... is there a idiot proof guide to flashing roms on here anybody can point me to ?? .. again apologies for my thickness i have read alot on here but all the different variants of this phone is confusing me .. thanks
Hello, i am looking for help to find out what i need to set up/have in order to flash a custom rom.
All i have is stock G2 with the latest update, phone model is LG-D802, android version is 4.4.2 and it not rooted.
I know first off i need to root the damn thing, but if any of you could point out some kind of post or guide with some kind of step by step info of how to root and after that how to continue with a flash of rom that would be awesome.
I`ve spend some time around the forum looking for such post but couldnt find one, and i am kinda scared to do this on my own since i`ve soft bricked a lot of my old devices.

easiest method, is to use the KDZ method (huge thread on it here) to get back to jelly bean, then download towleroot. one click root.
Has any of you android geniuses gotten any closer to a root solution for the S5 G870A.. PB3??? I'M DYING HERE I NEED MY ROOT.. ROOT.., THANKS
the only way is to find a first release phone and never let it ota. since they are used to pay for things now rooting is history
