Just so nobody is confused, Ouya will be launch to the Kickstarter backers on March 28, it will be on the shelves online and at physical stores in June.
Seems the OP should change, since to about 99.99% of folks, "Launch date" is for consumers. That said, this IS a dev themed forum.
Kind of regretting not backing now
Missed the wagon too on backing this project, would have happily donated.
At least those who get their units in June will hopefully have a more bug-free experience, having iron out a few things over those months.

I ordered my OUYA in early December. The print out receipt I received in my email said that I will get mine in April. But that was before OUYA moved up the release date to end of March. I think we will get ours at the same time as the other pre-orders. If not, I only expect up to a 1 week delay.
Man.. if that OP was right and stores got it same time we kickstarters got it.. I wouldve been pissed.. bad enough we paid the same price as normal preorders and he price ppl at a store would pay. Youd think we wouldve got something more from it or special. =/

I thought today was supposed to be a big event/launch party, yet all Ouya did was put out a small press release.

Sites have been listing 11th October since the announcement, I don't see the big deal here. Any sites listing for earlier dates were simply wrong weren't they, unless we get any dates past the 11th.

I think you will find that they do not take any money until the phone has been despatched. The price is still not fixed! Thats how Handtec operate so im sure the rest are the same. In anycase, handtec stated first shipment due week commencing 4th October - which does not imply the 4th october.
From what i understand, HTC are shipping but to mobile phone networks first.

I've pre ordered mine form Amazon and they don't take any money until its shipped. If you have fallen for another retailers tricks then that's really your problem. Play.com are also listing the 11th (they also dont take the money until they ship).
As for your garbage about supplying in 14 days - they cant supply if they don't have the product. YES if you ordered a Desire and it didn't arrive then you may have a point has the product is on the market - the HD and the Z are PRE ORDERS!!!! I've use Amazon for years and i trust them - i ain't trusting no company that "Claims" they will have it early

Not me. Unlike you, I can read and through experience of living on the bleeding edge of gadgetry, I realise that release dates are never to be banked on.
Show me a link to an "official" HTC press statement claiming the HTC Desire HD would be released on October 6th. Or the 11th. Please - find me one. NOT a review/blog/ethusiast/seller website "claiming" it will be released on October 6th/11th. Show me the "HTC published link" that claims the phone will be released on October 6th.

Handtec took my money as well when I ordered it a week or two ago, however I'm unsure if that has something to do with it being an international order or not. Same has been said from other Australian customers on a different forum I'm on however.
I don't care...the exchange rates been good for us of later and it means I know what I'm paying rather than wondering or stressing about the exchange rate each day.

I think it is sold out in the UK now. Amazon UK don't seem to have received any stock as far as I can see despite taking my order on the 9th when they promised availability on the 18th. Now they say July. Another Honeycomb tablet I wanted to buy and no one wanted to sell to me. Maybe whenever HTC come out with a larger tablet they will let someone sell me one. Failing that I'll get the iPad 3.

The keyboard bundle is not available yet, but it can be bought separately direct from Asus.
Ebuyer had 40+ in stock earlier this week, but have sold out now. If you want one, you need to be quick because the stock doesn't last long.

And everywhere else, the release date is 1 June - so you can only pre-order :-(

I checked on Asus UK to see if you could buy the dock separately direct from them but it just redirects you to the resellers...
You could order the dock from Asus directly for £50 but that was only if you ordered or bought the tablet before the 22nd I think it was. You wouldn't get that deal if you bought one now.
I feel bad for all the people who preordered and have been screwed around, I just walked into a comet store and bought mine..

I have called two sprint stores and went by my local sprint shop. All three of them had no clue as to what i was talking about. They all sent me to the same online web sign up for notifications. Just FYI
Word on the street the date is June 4 when the phone drops.

+1. Got to see how locked down it is before I make the move. I have a lot of confidence in the XDA folks being able to hack it but if encryption is involved that is another story. Also strongly considering the Galaxy S2, but stil leaning to the 3D.

I went to the Sprint store by my job and they said they knew nothing about accepting preorders for the Evo 3D yet. I went to the Radio Shack by my job and asked them how many people had gone there to preorder it and they told me none. So I paid my $50 and reserved my spot in the front of the line.
I'll be getting it on release day without fail.

I heard spring is doing instant rebates now but last year was awesome with the evo, they called me and set up an appointment for me to come in so they don't have a million people in the store at the same time. Was pretty happy with the experience there.

the ultimate insult for pre-order geeks like myself would be to be able to walk in a store and buy a phone off the shelf that millions of people who pre-ordered are still waiting for.....that would be a PR nightmare no matter what carrier you are on
if I were PR for any of them I would tell all the stores to keep them "on backorder status" until the majority or all pre-orders are fulfilled

i have talked with three at&t's stores here in houston..........
all of them had said, the 28th....and that they were getting 2 order/shipments....one for pre-orders and one for instore(first come first serve)
I was in my local AT&T store today because the sim card sent with my phone wasn't LTE so they swapped it out. They had no idea when the phones were coming in but they had just got cases while I was there.

Went to my local store twice in the last week and called another. My store told me that it was going to be available in store on 20th June. On 20th I was told that they have no idea when its coming and check back on 24th. One store that I called told me that they had no idea because there is no form official communication from AT&T. Both stores didn't even have display models.
I understand that people who pre-ordered feel entitled to have the phone before anyone else , but there have been plenty of launches where people got their preordered phones after the launch date. Preordering doesn't put you first in line, it guarantees you a device... Ugh... Get ourselves.

but if there is enough stock to "launch", assuming you mean phones in stores for walk in buyers, there was enough phones to fulfill preorders, which came first...
I have checked my local store several times and was told the official release date would be June 28..
And would not sell me one until then....

I had mine for a couple days. But its the same here where no one is selling it. Out of all the places I went only one even had a couple cases. Good luck getting it. The GS3 is one of my favorite devices. And is worth getting for sure.

Personally, I ordered mine during the second batch on 11/5. To be honest, it was a long weeks' worth of stress and while a lot of others are experiencing that same stress, day by day we're getting closer to the Nexus 6.
Edit: This is by far the best phone I've ever owned, period. I promise you guys will love this device. It was definitely worth the wait with you guys and I really appreciate you all making it just fly by. Enjoy your Nexuses!

I bought one of every Nexus item google showed off this year. So I know how you feel.
Was able to get an order in today for a 32GB blue. Still holding out for a 64, though, and if I can get one of those, I'll obviously cancel the 32. But not feeling too confident about that, given how quickly the 64s get snatched up, heh...
Anyway, my shipping estimate says 11/21. I can live with a 32, but obviously 64 would be nicer.

I got my order in today for a 32GB Blue, but really wanted a 64GB Blue.
My shipping date is 11/26 right now. I am hoping it will ship sooner, like the Nexus 5, but the nexus 5 I ordered on release day and it shipped the same day, so.... that is out. I just hope it ships well before the 26th.
November 11th or 12th is my guess.

Same here. My Player just shipped about 9 days early. If the 6 does the same thing then it'd ship on the 12th which is TMO's general availability day.

I figure my player is going to ship too. I got a notice this morning about my cc on the player having a problem processing. I actually just had that card replaced so I updated the card for the player order.

I havent seen that price on any variant. Its either in the 690s and 700s or 750s and 760s.

Local tax rates and shipping options will move that number around. Mines $709 with expedited shipping but if he has slightly higher tax that would be why.
