Still use my ipad quite a lot as I find it much better for web browsing, but my note 2 has completely replaced my nexus 7 (now sold).

Sweet thing its note 2
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app

It's not the case with me. If I'm on the go, I'll rely more on my N2 for its mobility, but when I'm at home, I use my iPad more, simply because of the larger screen.

Same here! After in bought my note 2, I barely use my iPad..
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2

My Nexus 7 is now up for sale as the N2 can do all the same jobs. Sure Web surfing is a little trickier but still perfectly achievable.
Sent from the mighty Note II.

I am still on note 1 and its been over a year now. Since i got thia gadget i barely uae any other device including my laptop. Everyother thing is too inconvinient for me....

Anyone here waiting on the Nexus 7?

Wondering how many Note owners ordered this tablet.
I am still awaiting my email from Google :-( but am in Australia

You'll get it tomorrow ;-)
The nexus 7 is missing a stylus, has no 3g connectivity and is 7inches. So no its useless to me

Thought about it, and i think Nexus is amazing, but... it's just 2 inches more than my phone so i don't really need it.

I second that. I can't justify spending more money on mobile tech when mine seems to be a perfect balance (for me).
But I do still love using 10" tablets 7" just isn't big enough of a difference for me.

Give Thanks where deserved!
Still thinking about getting one, I'll need to have a play with one first though but as other others say its only 2 inches bigger and the note does it all !

Nexus 4 and galaxy note 2

Guys the reason for thread is to sample peoples opinion on this two phones to find out which one is better since am torn in between decision of which one is better and more powerful.

Please add Samsung Galaxy S III to the title too, cause I'm interested in the devices too. Thanks
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
Note II looks like a better choice hardware wise if only the size is not a problem for you (for me it's too bulky). In Nexus 4 battery life and camera are not very impressive. It also lacks sd card slot. If you're fine with it then take N4 for best rom support. Agree Galaxy 3 should be also considered with its vulnerability being the only drawback in my opinion.

I can't choose lol!

Hey guys waiting for your opinion
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
Note II....:good:
there are so many "it depends" which only you know for yourself.... so every our advice will base on our own opinion... like "Note II is too big" or "S III has not big screen enough"... so put your pro's and con's in two rows, add available $$$ in your pocket and here you go )))
Buy Note 2!
I looked at it deeper, and i found out Note 2 is better than Nexus4 and SGSIII.
Bigger screen (1080p) and better speakers.

Its not almost 1080p and how does a bigger screen make the resolution higher ? :S

Thanks guys, just needed to know from experiences of people who have got their hands on this phones.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
I would have picked Note II because it has a better camera, better sound,s pen. Does not appear in the throttling which occurs in the nexus 4
720p not 1080p

my friend, they all have HD720p not full HD 1080p.
If you support closed binary drivers which result in vendor dependency go buy any Samsung, if you want the latest Roms/android versions, the right to choose and maybe getting into Rom development then a nexus is your device.
I've got the n4 and I'm very happy with it but I like to build roms, cherry pick features and play around with the phone.
It's your decision

usage
note II!! definitely!! but depend on what you want to use. i like note II for it features, mainly for works(bigger screen for reading), s-pen to take note, etc etc.. but for game.. i dont know.
I am running ParanoidAndroid 2.99 with Pie features on my Note2 and it is a terrific phone. The nexus 4 is a league lower, bad camera and battery life. Two things I care about most in my phone except for it's "smartness"
note 2 is better

Tapatalk 4 for 99 cents. 1 week only 8-12-13

Get tapatalk 4 while you can for 99 cents rather than the regular price if 4.99. The sale is for one week only. While it has bugs currently I suggest it.

Just a comment. I have both versions of TT4 and the paid version which is (1.4.x) is really glitch on both my HTC One and my 10.1 galaxy note. The free version which is (4.0.25) runs perfect. What the hell is the difference? They both have the exact same interface and I have not noticed ads on the free version either.

dying to see a motorola tablet now

after having the moto x for 2 weeks, i'd love to see what they can do with tablets. has there been any talk of that?
Agreed...8 inch screen with the same feel and software as the X would be awesome!
The X name would play in great with the Xyboard tablet line and they should aim for adding the current hardware into a xyboard looking tablet. Agreed 8 inches is where its at. 10 is too big for everyday use and 7....well I have a N2 so what is the use going up an inch and a half...

What 2 years ago? I had it for like 2 weeks, screen was terrible. Time for new hardware running 4.4. Sounds good right? Also, the Xoom was not really easy to hold.
