Quick question, I have a GT-S5360L phone, baseband UHKI6, I'm aware that if a ROM has different a different MODEM setting I can have a headache, so, will evo-x 3 rom work on that phone without losing 3G? I wanted to post this on the evo-x 3 thread, but this is my first post, so I can't.
Second question is: is it possible to flash a rom like evo-x, and then flash a MODEM using Odin, so that way I'll have the phone settings that work with my provider and still the custom rom?
no panic,just flash the rom,its no problem.i have a customrom from asia on my phone--dxlf2 and my basband is still xxlk3.never have any prob. and evo rom is multi csc+language.have fun.

i dont know of any reason why it wouldn't as long as the phone is rooted. i thought the only difference was sim / cdma.

its has many more issues like locked bootloader etc....metamorph dosent work... is dere a way u can make an update.zip? thankyou

Try the attachment. I have not tried. Only created a universal flashable zip of the png files. Should flash on all roms. Not sure if it works on all roms.

that may be an issue with the .9.pngs ill try to talk to the guy who made that flash zip. also if you have a backup phone.apk/ framework-res.apk having them would be a great help ( stock is the best to fix issues with)
If you think your current Custom ROM is the best, do try to share it here. Please do to attach the screenshot of your about phone and if it is posible also provide your link for the ROM. Thanks.

There are no good custom roms yet because all the devs are waiting for official ICS release which contains the needed drivers for a custom ICS built.
According to samsung the update will come next month, so we have to be patient a little longer.
In the meantime I will stick with stock rom as HC works like **** regardless of what rom one is using.
Best current ROM, with no disrespect to the 7.7 devs, i think is the stock ROM. Even when ICS comes out and custom ROMS do come out, i will stick with stock. It is fun flashing custom ROMS but sometimes there is always something worng with them so for this tab i am sticking with stock. Just my toughts.

Just installed Singha + Dedrak + Aroma tweaks, works fine, maybe not as smooth as Zeta, not sure, but keeping it for the CRT-off thing :good:

Reflash stock kernel or flash a kernel which have stock recovery like Kuro kernel

Goto about phone then see the build number of your rom... Then go to the kernel list that I've mentioned you, and look for the kernel package which one match with your build number...
For example my build number is gingerbread.DDLC3 see the screen shot

Download the ROM again n then try. U can flash cm9 the same way u r flashing cm7.

I couldn't know if it was for my device, I couldn't boot into the ROM, it was erased and I had no way to recover.
Finally, after 3 days of searching I found out that I had wiped all my SDcard, internal memory and recovery, so I was left with nothing, luckily, this post saved my life www(dot)modaco(dot)com/topic/361126-zte-blade-ii-p735tb01-msm7225a1ghz-roms-ftm-back-to-stock/
