what phone after HERO?

Thinking of giving my hero to the wife what phone should I get next?
Money is not an issue.
Looking at Dell streak, galaxy S and Desire.
Have thought Abt going to the darkside but like
Open source of android

If money is not an issue, then go for the iphone 4, I meet yesterday a mate that works apple, he has one, and I was using it last night, the pictures taken with are great, and no signal problems at all, we where inside in a pub, I tested the phone for 30 minutes, doing everything with it, multitasking etc, no probs at all. Once my contrat is finished, I will get one myself.

Or maybe a Desire but not an Iphone because the OS isn't as modifiable than Android..

I'll wait for nexus two...
or some new device with 2MHz processor and gingerbread!
I leave iphone 4 to conformist people

I am leaning toward the galaxy as I want a bigger screen
The streak might be a step too far
Ip4 looks nice but not fussed about the OS and I don't like censorship

iPhone 4 is one peace of big ****. It can't even keep its connection to mobile network.!? wtf! lol

Dell streak is a really good phone but I personally would love to have a HTC Evo 4G...
And plus it is ready for Gingerbread...

Dell sounds like a good option. I personally won't buy a HTC next time and won't recommend HTC to anyone since what happened to my phone after their recent firmware update. It took so long to roll out and then almost bricked my phone making me to switch back to the old version of firmware. No decent phone manufacturer will send out an update that fails so bad without any support.

the best advice I can give to go a place where you can try these devices, and than make a decision.
I'm sure I will buy a Desire after the Hero. I tried and I love it, big screen, fast, has 2.2 soon and very responsive : )

Trade HTC HD2 for nexus one?

I have a new hd2 as a backup phone and would like to trade it for another android phone..nexus one or vibrant..I also posted this in vibrant forum.

Another query is what about battery performance? Given i think its only a 1250mah battery. I owned the HD2 in january but sent it back after a week due to it not being satisfactory. Battery life on windows 6.5 was really poor. What do you think?

just put froyo on it... it honestly feels the same except a bigger screen

This is what i was expecting.
One reason not to get one if this is the case. Anymore users out there that have put Froyo on there HD2, can you confirm this please?

Correct about the green being off or correct about you using those colors?
BTW I would definitely get some of these... if I wasn't broke. They design looks great though! Just need the right green and they'll be perfect!

EDIT: BTW, I think themeing some after sports teams would get you a bigger market. I'd buy a Dodger Blue one with the LA in the middle without a doubt.

OP i have a suggestion. ive been thinking of having a custom made android sticker myself. can you come up with an Android sticker looking like the pedo bear sticker? i think it would look cool and funny. i definitely will buy a couple.

Id take some for my hardhat and welding hood. Piss all my buddies off who are Iphone babies.

As long as the stickers come off clean without requiring Goo Gone... I'd take a few

[MOD]Orange Desire HD[MOD]

Hello Guys!
I bought a Desire HD in December 2010 as my first Android Phone and also my first Smartphone. I was very happy with it and i fell in love with Android.
Sometime later after i checked out neary all Apps on the Android Market I got bored and decided to root my DHD. After The successful rooting the whole World of Android was open. I landed immidiatly here at XDA where all the cool magic happens. I flashed always buggyer things and got a fashmatic (you know what I mean). I have to say a big thanks to all devs of the Desire HD Forum who worked hard and still do for bringing us the best and the newest roms.
Also the flashing and stuff was normal I saw a thred with the chromed DHD. I was amazed and after a few month i did it but only with the frame. It was really nice and meany friends asked me if I had a new phone
Then after a few weeks i talked with a frend whose father could make a powder coating and I panted it in Orange. And now finally thats the result and i think its really nice
Now I have to share with you a few picture of the mod. All is working exept the Volume button i have to grind there the case a bit that he fitts.

Why didn't you paint over the black plastic covers too? Also what kind of paint did you use and how did you do it?

Cancelled Best Buy AT&T Note 3 Order Due to Delay Email

Originally Best Buy was talking about estimated ship dates of around 9/27. With all the delays, I knew it wouldn't ship around then, but I had hoped that it would ship by Friday.
I received the e-mail in the video this afternoon and after work I gave them a call. They couldn't give me any idea of when it would ship or if I was closer to the front of the line or the back of the line. The only reason I was trying to purchase through Best Buy was for points and sometimes even if they aren't running a special, they'll send you a $50 gift card. Happened with my S4.
Anyways, I think I'll sit this phone out. I'm sure it will be great. I guess it's Optimus G Pro until the next best phone after the N3.
Enjoy everyone. There's always a possibility that I will break down Friday!

I do videos on phones, cases etc.
If I'm not going to be one of the first then the phone is a scrub for me.
My phones... LG Optimus G Pro, S4, HTC One, Cricket Admire 2, Verizon Note 2, AT&T Note 2, Cricket S3, Verizon S3, Sprint S3, AT&T S3, and I'm sure I've left some out.
