1. Buy a cover. This prevents lens making contact with anything you lay phone down on.
2. Never put mob in pocket with coins, keys or any other hard objects.
3. use your Common sense.

I flashed no scratch last week and although it hasn't removed the old scratches it definitely works in preventing new scratches in conjunction with learning to look after my phone

Its a rom you need to flash with mobile odin, it tries to remove scratches but only the light ones. You need to root first offcourse

There are several "wipe" functions, but I would research them extensively before using any. You might accidently remove scratches from your screen instead of your camera.
On a serious note. DO NOT MESS WITH RECOVERY.

Cut a small piece off a screen protector the same size as the lens and stick it on.

Removable back piece?

Does anyone have any idea where the top part of the back plate is removable? Seems a little weird as there isn't anything under it.
My only thoughts are that it could be a place to store the SIM if they bring out a 3G version, or its for some sort of official case which would clip into this
its for the case to attach on dude

The Tab 7.0 is waterproof. My wife forgot it was in her coat and put it through a 60' wash cycle. Didn't realise it was in there until the 1200 spin cycle kicked in. Managed to rescue it before it was reduced to rubble, stuck it in the dryer for 15 minutes and it worked a treat afterwards.

Anti shatter sheet anti finger print trick

Hi guys! Just want to share how my stock anti shatter film became anti fingerprint which is cool.
After few days with my xz, ive notice some scratch on my lcd without doing anything rough.
I made a decision of using PLASTx to remove those scratches. Applied little drops, lightly wiped with a microfibre cloth in a circular motion. And after few times. The minimal scratches were gone and i noticed that, unlike before, my fingerprints are almost invisible now.

The anti shatter film is not made of tempered glass......
Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk 2
That is true but there is still a glass behind it, so I wonder if it could affect the glass.
Sent from my C6603 using xda premium
The OP mentions "minimal scratches", so I doubt that they had penetrated through the anti shatter film. Therefore the plastx will not have come into contact with the glass screen.

Screen cracked, didn't drop it

I think my dog may have pounced on it as it charged, what can I do now? So much for Gorilla glass 3...

LOL my thought exactly, nowdays people want unibody + SD + removable battery + unbreakable + scratch proof screen, water resistant, bomb resistant soon
Basically a phone that is indestructible not matter what and it must be below 130gram of course and have a big screen and battery.

I've got the TEP, but I was curious over whether or not I have another way to fix this screen before I drop 100$ on it, maybe something to do with the 14 Sprint Return? Anything there that could help me out? Samsung Repair?
Spend the $100
For once it is a good thing to live in South Africa, Samsung is giving us here the following:
