They also use other bands that iPhones and unlocked devices can pick 3G on. I'm in an area that supports it now.

you could use the uk xperia z with 3g on att in some places.
the c6606 is supposed to be US version of the xperia z it will have the same radios as xperia zl C6506 (/showthread.php?t=2130466)

So long as you live in areas where att has the 1900 bands available you would be fine with the c6603 right?

Great, let me know which model you end up getting and how that goes. I'm going to get the HSPA+ model and used it in T-Mobile's refarmed network. Have you been using its refarmed network since it launched? I'm just worried about streaming my music from Google Music on my Z and being able to tether it to a Macbook Air.

One of Sony's other sites (I forget where...) indicated that at least one ZL model would support AT&T LTE.
What is interesting is that it sounds like (from another thread) that AT&T will not be selling this model - which would make it the first device not sold by AT&T to support their LTE bands. I'm wondering if this might be a sign that AT&T will be allowing their MVNOs to use the LTE network soon???

I would assume the ZL model would be the C6506. From what I've seen from stat sheets it's probably the one coming to North America. In Canada, were getting the ZL, and the C6506 supports our Canadian LTE and HSPA bands.

It's interesting because C6506 will support ALL of our Canadian carrier bands for 2g, 3g AND 4g. One phone everywhere = more support for development and accessories. What's even better is ATT and MetroPCS are also compatible on every respective bands (including LTE)

I was going by what I knew at that time, but it won't be coming from AT&T, only works on it's network. I can't say too much right now other than there is a model that supports AT&T LTE. Don't know when or if it will be sold direct from Sony in the US.
ZL is coming soon.

If you are inferring that you don't get 3G with the Z then that would be incorrect. The C6602 gets HSPA+ speeds just fine on AT&T.
For some reason the ZL forums still won't show up in my subscribed listed or favorites on tapatalk.

Ok had a play with ZL and XZ in a local store..I am surprised by these things:
1. ZL is more brighter and better contrast than XZ..And no the values of calibration were set to 0 on ZL..i put up sony live wallpaper [purple] on both and ZL was visibly more brighter and vibrant!I Wonder what was sony thinking not giving its flagship that same screen? :/
2. Sound through headphones and speakers both were better on ZL..Dont know why? i can understand speakers bcoz of water proofing.
3. Easier to use due to small size and withe same size screen is a plus.
And alas i am confused :/ Dont wanna loose the build quality of XZ but want a brighter screen too!
Can someone clear this for me? The Xperia ZL has the LTE version and the none LTE version, is that correct? Also, does the factory unlocked device comes with locked or unlocked bootloader?

When I have purchased phone, I saw the MHz its supporting, which is Verizon range from 800 to 1900.
PS Anybody knows the programming menu code for HTC ONE ?
The developer version is a gsm device and Verizon operates a CDMA network. They are incompatible and the phone will not work.

Its not a troll, I'm not so smart in this type of technology. In my mind it was very simple WCDMA is Docomo, which goes way ahead of regular CDMA, and Qualcomm made an support from WCDMA to CDMA2000, thats why I cant understand why Verizon CDMA don't want to support it.

I don't Have 4G or UMTS-3 on HTC One 64GB Developer Edition in the city of Jacksonville Florida on T-Mobile Network. All I see is EDGE. Anyone from JAX having the same issues.

btw, no need for s-off. Please see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2245615

Ah, Ok. I think it's going to be T-Mobile. I believe there is a pic floating around the forums of the Z1 dressed in T-Mobile USA branding. Basicly, it will be the current EURO/UK version with T-Mobile bloat and the logo as my buddy has the UK unlocked Z1 and gets full LTE on T-Mobile with it now.
