Good news: Triangle Away will add support for montblanc board devices but you will have to wait at least 1 week, Chainfire is going to vacation in few hours

I do not think that this is fair.
Chainfire invented the app, but one brave device owner followed a procedure discovered by other device owner, and a third device owner made the app. Its ours swet and effort.
I understand that Chainfire is awesome and deserves that kind of respect, but if you follow that rule you should ask permission to make the kernel installer for all developers wich already did it. Just do not makes sense.

I dont get it... To my understanding Chainfire didnt have any part in this.In fact we have even asked him on Triangle Away thread about our device and he didnt say a word.He also didnt patent that kind of app so I say publish the app and f**k chainfire

You can upload this app to other sites.

That is outrageous. Iirc, the entire method of resetting the counter was discovered by chainfire. We all just modify the codes according to the devices.

Ah I see. You can flash an insecure kernel from the dev section then use something like S2 root or Superoneclick to root again.
First step would be to confirm Rom Manager works with SGS2 .
Second step would be to read the post you rooted from the bit where it says Rom Manager does not work .
jje
Im pretty sure sgs2 isnt compatible. Sgs2 should use cwm app.

Why are you using Rom Manager instead of the CWM app that comes with the recovery. I would do a little research before flashing anything with Rom manager.

The best bit of advice you can take from this thread is this: dont use rom manager with the sgs2, tbh it seems to cause more problems that it solves.
Its not fully compatible.
Rather Use the cwm app that installs with chainfires cfroot kernel.

[REQUEST]What to do to get HSDPA in AOSP

Hey everyone
My team has a working build of the AOSP and we can fix the bluetooth+wifi+Superuser issues .
However , we don't have HSDPA which will badly affect mostly most of us :/
If someone provides how to extract the HSDPA files from CM7 I will gladly appreciate it
Thanks and have a nice day

Also. Data does not work. It shows the 3G icon but nothing and signal strength stays on full all the time.
And we know its not a APN Problem. We have a massive one from CM 7.
To get RIL to work we added the following:
rild into the /bin folder
libril.so /lib
libsec-ril.so /lib
libsecril-client.so /lib

It all depends on how you're flashing bro. If you're flashing via cwm, and then that's not increasing your flash counter. The only time the counter is increased is if you're flashing none official files via Odin.
The 1 in your flash count is probably from the initial flash of cwm via Odin when you first rooted your phone.

Google is your friend
It's a program that is used to reset your flash counter back to zero so Samsung won't be able to tell you flashed non official firmware on your phone at some point. Basically it comes in handy if you want to keep your warranty on your phone.

But to answer your question...somehow inject Su...and then superuser
Can be easily achieved by creating a custom recovery, then flashing a root zip...

DO NOT DO THIS!!
Pumpkin seeds and throwing at the wall?!! ha. Nice try
Everyone knows that the only way to get root is to bury the phone in soil, water it and wait (it may take longer than expected but DON'T WORRY, and DON'T REBOOT whilst waiting for root.)

Coming soon with be motoroot 2.0. This will enable standard root and write to system, as well as give us the ability to load recoveries and use custom roms.

Bootloader will be locked, but write protection will be off. According to @jcase Twitter, root 2.0 will come with a recovery.

So what are the downsides to this? Will we not have kernel or modem access? I have an s4 with custom recovery at the moment but am looking to trade for a vzw Moto x if we can rom. I like the smaller size of the x
jcase, would it be a good idea to kill the qe process (the one that logs system partition modifications as mentioned in the original android dev thread) in MotoRoot directly? Is it possible?

I'm really curious why this thread doesn't have as many thanks for jcase as people who are going to root their Moto x.... show some love people!
If your going to use this at least thank him.
