Jelly bean upgrade over air - RAZR i General

I keep pressing upgrade but I don't get the upgrade option. Has some networks not released it yet or is there another way to do it?

From what I understand it is a very small release at moment not a full release, GB retail hasn't even been released at all, what version are you running? Most if the OTA files have been uploaded if you check the sticky, but like I said if your GB retail it has yet to be released. Hopefully it will be a full fledge release by end of week.

Thanks for the reply. Running 81.5.31002.xt890.orange.en.gb
Does that mean I'm on retail?

No you have Orange GB , if you go here: http://http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2028814 , you can find the OTA file for your phone and how to install, it's relatively simple.

Please find attached screenshot. Although the update seems to be completed, I've got major problem, which never occured before. As soon I try to enable any radio (gsm, wifi), the phone freaks out and starts popping messages with frequency 1/sec what disable any use of the phone. the messages are: the process.com.android.phone has stopped and regarding disability of phone and messaging functions. The phone is unlocked and unrooted. Can anybody advise me? Shall I perform factory reset, would it help? Thanks.

Here is mine too
I'm not having any issue since the update. Well, two minor ones: my sim code was not recognised anymore. A reboot solved this. And the other one is that some settings like vibrate when typing are back to default.
ROM is smooth! But I still need to test for a while...
EDIT: here is the content of my default.prop
Code:
#
# ADDITIONAL_DEFAULT_PROPERTIES
#
ro.product.locale.region=GB
telephony.sms.shift_table=1
persist.sys.timezone=Europe/London
keyguard.no_require_sim=false
ro.sf.lcd_density=240
panel.physicalWidthmm=52
panel.physicalHeightmm=89
ro.opengles.version=131072
gsm.net.interface=rmnet0
persist.service.crashlog.enable=1
persist.system.at-proxy.mode=0
ro.secure=1
ro.allow.mock.location=0
ro.debuggable=0
wifi.interface=wlan0:0
persist.ril-daemon.disable=0
persist.sys.usb.config=mtp

GB T-Mobile / Orange
Mine appeared yesterday (6th Feb) late afternoon, I downloaded it at home ~9pm through Wifi.
No issues at all other than a few minor resets as mentioned, such as vibrate when inputting text, but nothing major.

Can you pull your /system/default.prop and /system/build.prop files and post them here? It might help us getting the fastboot files.
Yeah if anyone can pull the link, that would be ace.
I swear I'm always the last person in the world to get OTAs...
:silly:
My razr hd is unlocked and on virgen will I still get notified when there is an update.
i just checked to see if an update is available on my phone as well using the motorola software on my pc. it says no update available looking forward to the update as well. I have the fido version running on t-mobile's "modernized network" aka PCS HSPA+.
The update hasn't been fully released yet. I believe either they are rolling it out in stages, or they did something like a Verizon "SOAK" test, which targeted a few handsets but not all of them, to verify no issues.
Once the update is fully released, it doesn't matter what carrier you are on since Motorola phones check into it's own servers (not the Rogers servers).
Someone please upload the update file so that we all can have it.

You need to be on Rogers stock firmware to apply it. If you're not, grab the fastboot files from sbf.Droidevelopers.org.
If you're on jelly bean already (from another variety like telstra), you might have to wait until the firmware team locates the fastboot files for jelly bean.
Can someone confirm if you can fastboot ICS over JB? if so, what's the process?

I am on stock Rogers firmware and it's still not working. I've tried a bunch of different things including using CWM to flash it but it still doesn't work. I get errors.
You can downgrade to the stock ICS rom from Jelly Bean in fastboot by deleting a couple of lines from the .xml file in the .zip file. I forget what they are off the top of my head, but I think they were right at the beginning near the "getvar" line.

It shouldn't, and I'm sure it probably won't this time, but many soak testers did brick on stock JB builds through the normal OTA last December (and, strangely, Verizon distributed to non-testers right away, so it affected quite a few people.)
i just wanna know if its gonna have the white status bar and the new dialer basicly.
I wish I knew how to update rooted 4.4 (kept form 4.2.2 by instruction on xda). I do not care too much about preserving root because I have bootloader unlocked now.

We will find out soon, but David Schuster of Motorola said the icons were white about a month ago on Google+. He didn't say anything about the dialer. When somebody asked if it would be 4.4.2 or 4.4.3he said don't worry,we've got you covered. Implying, I guess, that it is 4.4.3 or that any bugs fixed in 4.4.3 for the nexus are already fixed in the update.

If you're referring to the dialer with search funtionality, I believe that is still exclusive to the Nexus 5 (natively, of course there's sideload options).

In order to fix mine and bring back alive.
1. Download the latest FW for the ZE551 from the Zenfone 2 support page of Asus India.

4. Flash the latest firmware .20 downloaded above.
Back in business. Bootloader still unlocked. I will try to update to .22 later. Hope everything goes well or else back to square one.
