I finally got the HD2 after a month of wating.
Had it for 2 weeks, and since a few days ago, I've been tempted to get Nexus One.
I love HD2 and flashing is a very fun hobby.
But then I always think, Nexus has this, that...sigh...
been dying inside for a few days. I want nexus, but then I'd feel like a traitor, Id want nexus, but what if hd2 is heaps better? what if...what if...
sigh...sorry for real random post.

I was going to suggest a Desire too, then there would be the waiting to find out if there was going to be a GSM Evo and the anguish when the answer was no then the joy when the replacement for the Evo is announced first in europe then the pain of Android 4 being delayed. No matter what phone or platform there will be joy and pain . We are all freaks and the world is against us. Rage, rage against the technophiles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That will be their battle cry

I'll be honest. I was in line for 6 hours to get the first iPhone. I even created a special line just to have iPhone. it was such a tremendous waste of money and sanity. But then when you're an apple sheep, you can't put a price on freedom.

Ill be honest, apple whored me out too.
And I know exactly where your coming from wanting Droid.
But just keep hoping and praying we'll soon have droid thanks to a dev here at XDA.
I miss the apple appstore, but thinking about it... I spent allot of money (well not really, jailbraking = free apps but shht) And how many of them apps did I use on a day to day basis?
1, maybe 2 out of a good 30 i had...
I use the apps on my HTC everyday.
So looking at the bigger picture, you dont need the app store

Either way, who cares? Who would honestly want to run that bloated piece of junk on a real phone? All other things aside, this should probably be in general.

I'm willing to bet that it's an Iphone put into an HTC case...perhaps hooked up to the OEM HTC screen. Still a very clever hack if that's the case. But still not as impressive as porting the entire OS with everything working.
I'd certainly flash it and keep a nandroid of it to show off to my geek friends, but, I'd never use it.
Once again, it's incredibly doubtful that it is exactly what it seems to be, though I know it's far from impossible....just improbable.

Last time I checked, iOS isn't open source. You would need the source to compile it to run on an ARM processor. You guys are noobs.

Count me in for a SGS vote. I love my phone. Since I got this thing, doing the typical showing it off when I get a chance and have converted 6 iPhone users to android.
Got my vote in for that beautiful Galaxy S.
Overall the voting is just meaningless. If anything, it should be a legitmate voting process with email confirmation with IP based on mobile operating systems. All these phones are Android, who cares if they beat another Android phone? The real competitor is iOS.

I've converted 3 people over to Galaxy S, one from Sprint's Palm Pre the other from Verizon's BlackBerry Storm. The other was already on T-Mobile so not much convincing there.

I was actually hoping for the Vibrant to have a smell like that. I thought I was the only one crazy liking that smell LOL.. it did smell really good though.

Point proven Guess I'll just say it... the exploit is that Polldaddy saves the data that you voted already in a cookie. So if you cleared your cookies then you can simply revote.
That's why I find this vote to be a joke if its primary voting system is Polldaddy.

It's already better than the Nexus One (ugly). This thing is svelte. I'm glad it still has the antenna bump because it's the reason why our reception is good. The Fascinate doesn't have this bump and it has some reception issues with losing service because of the smaller antenna.
- The speakerphone will rock
- SAMOLED
- Flash for those that need one
- LED Notification light for those that need one
- GPS is probably going to work out of the box
- Stock Android
- Good Reception, better than the Nexus One that's for certain
- PERFECT size
- Updates handled by Google
I don't think the Nexus S has super amoled, does it?
That phone is the reason that the Vibrant will probably never see Android 2.3 (or won't for another 6 months or so).
Unless the Nexus S is sporting a 1280x760 screen then its not worth considering if you already have a Vibrant

It's definitely worth it because of the update. I'm getting rid of the Vibrant once I get my hands on the S. Samsung needs to step up and support the damn updates.

The Nexus One has a lot of roms so maybe the Nexus S will have a ton too.
But a lot of devs are HTC fanboys too so idk

It definitely is rigged some how, Windows phone is beating every other phone as well. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft is spam voting, trying to "save" their phones.
