[Q] Has anyone bought from mytrendyphone.com? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I need to buy a replacement earpiece for my Nexus 4. Google is taking forever to send me a replacement. I found an earpiece at mytrendyphone.com
The site looks kind of iffy. Has anyone bought from mytrendyphone.com? How was your experience? Is the site trustworthy?
Thanks!

A very simple Google search returns mostly positive reviews.

Where did you guys buy it from?
i have one, they are great devices. I got mine in the UK from www.smartphonesdirect.co.uk
DOMZE. I got it from Superior Gadgets in Toronto. Link here:

I got mine from amazon.de. A really nice device!
I bought mine from egadgetdepot.com and I highly recommend them. They shipped out the same day and included an extra car charger, wall charger, and screen protector. They also pricematch.
I've got it )))))
www.tele-online.dk Just picked up mine today
From Euroset, one of the largest Russian retailers.
Now it's in a service center after the screen stopped responding to taps. Don't know whether Euroset sells crap or is it just bad luck.
jup one here to.
same as bob_barker above.
Yes its a herald!

Seidio like case, but avaliable in the UK?

As the title suggests, im about to get a new kaiser in good condition and seeing how my last kaiser faired with my lifestyle id like to get a rubberised case for the phone.
Searching & reading up has told me the Seidio case is a good idea, but shipping to the Uk doubles the price to nearly $60, a tad silly imo.
Does anyone know where i could source this case/a similar one within the UK?
cheers guys
edit:
Ebay brought up this, but at nearly £29 its too much;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Seidio-Rubber...14&_trkparms=72:1301|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318
please guys, someone from the Uk must have a decent rubberised case. iv read all the horror stories about the cheap ones on ebay & amazons and would like to avoid those pitfalls.
I bought twice a cheap one from China through ebay and everything was OK, including fast shipping. If you're interested, let me know and I might find the seller.
if you could that'd be great mate thanks!

I had in mind that it was from China but it was from USA. The seller was http://myworld.ebay.ch/unclesamdeal/. According to the picture on this link http://cgi.ebay.ch/Fr-HTC-TILT-8925-RUBBER-BLACK-CASE-LCD-SCREEN-PROTECTOR_W0QQitemZ390021076574QQihZ026QQcategoryZ20336QQcmdZViewItem, it seems to be the same cases i bought six months ago, without the screen protector.

I have this case. Good case but one problem. The tabs that hold the case to the phone can easily snap off so the case is not held securely on. More of a problem with the top and not the bottom but a pain none the less.
Have been looking at this case(think it comes from uk).

with P&P comes to about £27.

Samsung Omnia i900 - found on eBay

Hi everyone,
I've noticed many sites including eBay selling Samsung Omnia i900 phones for really low prices...some at about $100 per phone. I find it very difficult to believe that these phones could be sold that low. Are they genuine Samsung phones or are they cheap Chinese clones? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Omnia on eBay
Could you give a few examples?
You might want to look at the seller's rating, etc.
Yes that would help.
Since I can't post links please see item # 290444362182 on ebay.
There is a link to an auction I noticed. The seller has an incredible amount of feedback. I tried sending emails to previous winners of this auction but have had no luck with responses. I'm worried about getting a cheap Chinese clone. Would you know how to check before hand if the phone is real? Sure the auction images and specs are exactly those of Samsung but we can't know for certain until we have the actual phone. Is there a serial number on the phone (usually underneath the battery) that the seller can give me before I purchase?
Thanks

Thanks for the offer but I will most likely be using an iPhone someone is getting rid of. This way I feel safe about where the product is coming from and I really won't be paying much at all for it.
I'm still curious about the Samsung on eBay. I can't believe they are real genuine phones. I'd love to see a serial number or something to get an idea. If they are real I can probably find a bunch of people interested in buying them from me at a great profit. I just don't want to rip anyone off with sh%tty Chinese clones

[Q] Shall I buy this one, someone PLEASE advice

Hello guys and SENIORS, I am planning to buy a HTC HD2, but there are allot of things & models are available on ebay, can someone please have a look at this one and recommend if it is a good device/deal, as it's seems like they are giving away a Huge amount of EXTRAS.

sure looks...enticing !!go ahead...
buyers feedback looks ok but I would email & ask reason for selling & confirm that the phone is 100% genuine, purchased by him new, 100% working & has it ever had repair work.
Failure to clarify these points could leave you with a £260 headache ...
Due to some HD2s suffering from some problems & dismantling being more technially challanging a lot of problems handsets are out there so buyer must be smart ...

Thanks Johnerz for the advice, but on what basis you are saying that the accessories he/she is offering don't even worth £50, I have searched a bit for just 3 items and they are costing EXACTLY £83.29, as follows:
1. TomTom West EU map £44.95
2. Battery £19.99 (http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/htc-hd2-ba-s400-battery-1230-mah-p21962.htm)
3. Cradle / charger £18.35 (http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/htc-hd2-dual-charging-cradle-p22978.htm)
I haven't even searched for Leather pouches yet.
Thanks anyway for your advice
Kind regards
Sid
Personally I would recommend the T-Mob US model as the 1GB memory makes it a far more usable device compared to EU 512MB ...
Buy the best you possibly can, close to new as possible & with no dubious issues or fuzzy replies to questions.

Thanks for the advice Mister B, seller replied as follows:
Hi This phone is an original HTC HD2 not any third party/un-known China make, phone is factory sealed never been opened or repaired, only 4 month old (by the time of putting on sale here)(Bought on Ebay sealed). Selling it because got a new HTC Sensation on upgrade, Return is accepted but obviously I will note IMEI & all the device's information through the ParcelForce service before sending to secure my self as well as buyer, look at my 100% feedback, I am not here to scam anyone, never did.

Mmm checked his buying history, no history of buying an HD2 but he has recently just purchased an HD2 box !
Seller also buys quite a few HTC devices, on 5th of July purchased Desire HD ...
Personally I would not buy it.
My rules on buying phones via eBay are never to buy items previously purchased via eBay & item history with any dubious credibility, For starters your getting device in non original box & what else in non original & questionable !
Second issue is price, £260 is a lot for a questionable 4 month+ device.
I would recommend looking at a T-Mob HD2 as some good bargains & brand new devices are available.
I say buy a new one with a warranty. I bought an HD2 from ebay and I'm regretting it now. You NEVER know what phone you're really getting.
HD2 is cheap enough now to buy on amazon. You'll want to thank me if and when you need it repaired, and can do it under warranty

HTC One Turkey

I think we could use a topic like similar ones.
How many people has it? Did you encounter any problems with your One and where did you buy it?
Darkhan total i brought 50 items none had complaint all had little line on gap very little 3 had headphone broken but they send it to Teleservice so all happy.
