[Q] Paranoid Android Auto Color settings not saving - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

HI
I am running the latest version of PA, trying to enable auto color on apps but the setting does not save or get applied?
Any ideas how to get this working?

I'm also having this problem.
I want to have a white colored status icons, and white navigation bar buttons, so I disable the "Enable per app color" option but it doesn't work status bar icons are blue and the navigation buttons have transparency, it's not visible but I do not want it because of performance issue, I don't like using transparent stuff.
After a while of trying different settings I enable per app color option, since I decided that I'll just use "Automatic Color" inside every app I want to change its layout, but it doesn't work either! If I change its layout it will use the custom colors and enabling Automatic Color won't get saved.
- I have a galaxy nexus

Modify notification bar?

Is there any way to modify the notification bar. Can I remove the toggles from the top of the bar? Is there any way to remove the brightness slider? Is there any way to change the colors used in the notification bar? Green on blue maybe the worse combinations of colours that Samsung could have chosen. Also is the any way to change the scale of the items in the bar? With a phone this size the icons really shouldn't as big as they are.
Well if you are rooted install the xposed framework found in this forums and then the wanam xposed from the play store it just made everything easier in order to edit you whole system, you just need some time to understand every setting

Click to collapse
-settings>device>notification panel>brightness adjustment unchecked
-You can change the notification bar to be transparent of you install nova prime launcher.
-For rest it is doable if you are rooted and installed custom ROM.

How to get rid of the shadow in the status bar?

So I had to put on this stock wallpaper because it wasn't set as one of the default options in this custom ROM that I am using, it's the same native resolution, but all wallpaper outside of the system default ones have a shadow hanging over the status bar. I don't like it, it makes the screen look bad and not uniform and I'm concerned with burn in as well down the line. Is there any way to make the status bar fully transparent?

After updating: What's going on with automatic color adjustment of navigation bar?

Hi, before the update to G95xFXXU1AQF7 the color changed automatically, depending on background color of the current app.
Not it's static and ugly.
What's wrong?
Yes now its very ugly this white coloured nav bar with dark themed apps like today weather.
That update wasn't good. They have killed features and if you choose for not using hidden navigation bar option, your fullscreen experience content will be worst than ever.
Yes, looks like if is it a really stupid optical bug
There are some few apps, where auto-adjustment of color still works.
So it is possible to let apps control it? If the developers build it in the code of their apps?

Change statusbar color per app

One annoying thing about this phone is in some apps the status bar is just this ugly gray color and it's huge. Is there anyway to set the color of the statusbar per app?
Root options are okay, I just can't find any
Have you tried xposed perfect status bar? I haven't but that's what I've always used in the past.

How to create Dark mode shortcut in notification bar?

Since android 10 update we got dark mode for our device and it works well
The only problem with this is it's changing method
Whenever we need to switch to light or dark mode we need to go to settings then display and then change it
It very annoying sometimes
Other side lot of phones have direct changing option in notification bar
Anyone knows how to make Direct shortcut for it
It will be really helpful
You can use tiles from playstore to create dark theme tile, and yes it works great!
