Made CWM backup. Can't bee seen in device but taking up space - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi...
I also asked this question in the help thread but couldn't get a proper detailed answer.
I made a CWM Nandroid backup, I can see it through CWM, but it's nowhere to be found in the SDcard
I tried looking in sdcard0/clockworkmod/backup but it's not there...
If this helps, the backup can be seem in CWM on this route.
Install zip from sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/
It's taking up a lot if space and I don't need it, so can someone help locate it with me..
I don't like asking again and again and in detail in help thread so I made a new thread.
Thank you

AW: Made CWM backup. Can't bee seen in device but taking up space
They are located in /data/media/clockworkmod/ . If you want to delete them you can do this via CWM in backup submenue.

[Q] help installing nandroid

I have searched around on here and other forums as well as watched a few youtube videos about nandroid but have failed to find what i really need to know. I am apparently missing the one little piece to get me started here. From what i can tell Nandroid should be in my clockwork recovery, but it is not. So how do I get that in the clockwork menu so i can use it?
I am running the Syndicate ROM with Xtreme Kernel. I have downloaded nandroid files to my PC but thats as far as I have gotten.
Any help without getting verbally abused would be much appreciated. THANKS!
Ok so first of all when you go into recovery is it green? If it Is you have clockwork but if its blue you have stock recovery. If it is clocwork then just go to backup/restore and backup your current system its tht easy ad no other things installed other than clockworkmod.

Go to the twrp backup folder and look.

[solved]Clockworkmod Backups

Anyone having trouble making nandroid backups using clockworkmod? I'm using the latest version of clockworkmod touch and stock 4.4. I run the backup, it appears to run fine, says it's finished, but when I reboot there is no backup files. This has happened multiple times, including getting burnt by modifying a system file and then finding out my backup is non-existent. I'm used to TWRP, but someone told me it doesn't work with 4.4 so I switched.

Maybe you are looking into the wrong directory.. mine is located at Device\Data\Media\Clockworkmod\Backup.
Hope that helps!

That was it, thanks!
I guess I'm used to TWRP where it is saved under /sdcard/TWRP, plus I was thrown off by the clockworkmod folder at /sdcard/clockworkmod
I just wasted a couple hours setting everything up because I couldn't find the backup

[Q] Need help restoring my Nook Simple Touch

So I've gotten myself into a real mess with my nook. I was playing around with it and accidentally deleted my user partition and when I was trying to repair it I ended up wiping it of everything... So as I've been trying to fix it with Nook Manager which creates a backup but I don't think its a functioning one because when I press restore backup nothing happens. I also tried doing a factory restore but it says the factory restore.zip is missing. I can't find either a backup img or a restore.zip for the NST online anywhere. Is there any hope or is this thing gone for good? I would really appreciate any help people can offer.
Can anyone please test this for me?

Recovery Issues

Hey guys I'm fairly new to the droid, but not new to installing stuff and that. I've tried multiple times to install a recovery but twrp doesn't, through fast boot it says it's invalid or something. Somehow I got cwm on it but to install a new Rom I've to make a complete backup since I've heard these phones brick pretty easily. The data can't be mounted to backup And I can't backup on internal storage either.
If you guys could help me out a bit it would be great. Thanks

Which system version are you on, and which version of TWRP did you try? Where did you get the TWRP? Check this thread it has all the walkthroughs and download links needed... Side note this should be in general or q&a not in the Dev section
We cannot teach people anything; we can only help them discover it within themselves.
I'm on the stock rom 4.4, and I've already gone through the steps, as I said and understand how these things work, the cwm I'm using now installed but doesn't allow for a data backup. I read there isn't one for this phone which allows that.

Which TWRP did you use... Where did you get it from.... Please check the linked thread and ensure you grabbed the proper TWRP for our device also maybe try flashing by a different method if you did use the correct TWRP
