Defy green lens cm9 - Defy Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone, as the title says, i would like to ask for suggestion about which cm9 to put..which one is fast, stable and smooth..hence i read about camera issues and the battery.
I did some research but it got me even more confused and undecisive.
Thanks

Motorola Defy MB525
Android 4.1.2 (MIUI 3.7.19)
Thanks in advance!

official cm7 rocks in case of speed and for regular use

official cm 7.1 better than mini cm7.mini cm7 is slower than official one.The only problem i face is volume control issue while making calls.I request devs to mod that, just that.
Try official cm 7.1 guys its the best for x8(for regular use)
Hit thank if this helped...
Are you nuts ? MiniCM is pure CyanogenMod experience .No other things .

Accelerometer goes a bit crooked

hi to all, my defy has the accelerometer that goes a bit o left, just a bit, nothing of dramatic, but anyway it isn't straight.
my phone is still under warranty, but i heard of many cases of defy not more water resistent after reparation.
is there a way to fix it or i'm forced to go from motorola?
There should be an option under settings to calibrate it.

Planning to port CyanogenMod 9 to the XPRT

I plan on undergoing this process. As the title says. I believe the XPRT deserves ICS. And I wish to prove it. Anyone interested in helping or following please let me know!
Whoa thanks man! I wish I could help, but I know nothing about these things. Good luck! I would love to see ICS on this thing!

Do keep in mind though that I'm only 17 and still in high school and very frequently busy. I don't have tons of time.

Also. I believe I shall first do CM7. This is my first rom port after all.

The first task I am currently facing is the kernel. I need to get it from the stock rom. It's the only kernel for this phone and it is needed to run anything.

If anyone wants to join in. I'm no pro and I'm currently suffering from serious allergies or something. Either way I feel like death. This link is a base of what I'm doing somewhat http://apcmag.com/port-roms-to-your-android-device.htm
And I was using a official CM7 7.2.0 rom for a droid x as the secondary. It doesn't seem like the hardest task in the world honestly. Rongsang I think you should take this up. You probably have the skills to do so.
Sent from my MB612 using xda app-developers app
Sure. i'll download the cm7 for droid x and look into it,
I've decided to port CM7.2 rom from Defy as it has similar hardware as XPRT and it was previously successfully ported to Droid Pro. But I'm still unable to boot. Need some help.
Why are you unable to boot?

You have the kernel right? You cannot mix two different kernels. It will only work one device. So since no one has developed a kernel for the xprt you have 2 choices. Build your own. Or extract it from the stock.

This...actually doesn't look hard to do at all.

It looks easier than it is. I'm still not able to make it boot. Its a bit harder with locked bootloader and 2nd-init. Can't seem to find a guide to port locked bootloaders with 2nd-init. Need somebody with experience to start off this project.

May I ask are you using the boost or sprint model?

Maybe we should post this on the CyanogenMod forums to see if someone more experienced can help.
