Hi guys, as we all know our GT540 isn't getting any younger and many of us are considering to buy a new phone.
So share your thoughts and hopes and please note the price(s) of your next phone(s) in retail store (not operator contract prices).
Also how much did GT540 cost when you bought it.
NOTE: You can use your country's currency but also include price in Euro (€) or US Dollar ($).
Example:
Candidates for next phone: Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray or Neo V
Price: 200 EUR (about 250$)
GT540 price was 145 EUR (180$) when I bought it.
MY gt540 cost cost 7000 indian rupees that is 102.5500 eur

Here's a good site http://mobilnionline.com/ , i can't find cheaper phones than this in Serbia (that are completly legal, not decoded from other networks and with full guarantee). I bought mine GT540 on-line and it was shipped the next day (only 200 DIN shipping). You guys got your GT540 pretty cheap, although I got mine in December 2010.

in germany only i9100G is available so "far better hardware" ? don't think so..
edit: some friends of mine have many problems with S2
also I like the design of Gnex more than S2

And i'm planning to buy a Galaxy Nexus in the next two months. The problem is that in my country don't exist operators who sell G.Nexus, so i have to buy it in Internet and costs the double O)... so i need to find somebody who can bring the phone to me from USA :/

Are there not any importers and stores in Argentina with Galaxy Nexus in stock?
I'm about to get it next week but I still wonder where to buy it.
Amazon UK dropped the price from £630 to £579.21 in 2 days.
Amazon Italy is selling it for 621€ (the cheapest I've seen for now).
The only difference is product code.

Region lock probably not, however band/frequency issues yes. @PatienceWithin bought an N9005 abd it wouldn't run ATT's 4G network so he had to sell and buy an N900A in the end.
Just make sure if you get the N9005 you can run it on your network.

At the current exchange rate 515 euros is $700, T-mo has them for $708 and had discounts for more than $50 before, so that Amazon.de price is nothing special, compared to US. But as others said frequency differences are more of a headache than it's worth it even if that price was much lower, which it isn't.
BTW how come your e-bay listing is gone? Too good to be true?

The cheapest price I see there is 649 euros which is equivalent to about $715 US dollars. Which is pretty much retail value.

This is why I decided to get one in the fall if I so desired. Every Samsung flagship device goes through this cycle, and they have for years.
Well I bought mine for 569 plus tax from b&h video. International unlocked 32 gb. Cheapest I seen.

Could never justify paying so much for a phone but I know compared to my Moto G and the annoyances I have a flagship is for me this year.

On this site you can compare retail prices and see a graph of the average retail and lowest retail price and compared to the price drop of the iphone 6, the s6 actually does a lot better....

On online stores in Italy, the S6 can be found at €509, and until the 9th of August Samsung Italy will refund €150 for every S6 with an italian warranty (officially imported) after registering the Imei code and purchase receipt on the Samsung website.
I got an even better offer after registering my S4 on the Samsung website 2 years ago: I'm getting a €200 refund on up to 2 Galaxy S6 phones (flat or edge).
So €509 - €200 is €309 for a new, unlocked S6 (flat).
Glad I didn't rush to buy it before now.
I just got it on eBay for £330

No choice at first boot. Decided to replace stock launcher (crab) with something which is working though.

I think EU has older version of the launcher, because it's missing few features from yt reviews. Also I noticed that sound on youtube has 1/4 second delay to the video. Hope we will see update soon
Hi guys today i receive my axon 7 in uk...the package dont have the screen protector, also in the pack is a warranty empty card but clearly written in the card that the supplier has to sign so the warranty to be active..another thing i notice is that the video recording missing the 1080p60 option but in the most of the reviews its there!! Any thoughts?
I haven't got screen protector too, it's probably only for us. Shame, because phone is great, but ZTE care only for USA and they don't give a f... about the EU.
My warranity card is also empty, but I think amazon don't need it to accept warranty

Hmm yes i think you are right, they dont care at all about the EU version...at least the phone is amazing but i really want that 1080p60 option!

I wonder if we are better off buying the USA version.
I wanted to buy US version from B&H (they ship international) but in case of axon 7 it was impossible. I got pop up window saying "an error has occured". So i wrote to support (highly helpful and professional) and got answer that axon 7 keep their sales only for us customer. So they can't ship this model outside US. Zte is stupid limiting their sales, sick political strategy :/ only ebay is possible but prices there are crazy, something even double (the higher i've seen was 999 USD)

There was a first wave of Axon 7´s from this seller (LINK) but it was sold out pretty fast. I was lucky and got mine on 6th of July.
