Mystery server account - Galaxy Note II General

Can anyone identify this server account? What type of server/protocol is it for? Is this CalDAV/CardDAV??

It's not for SyncML protocol is it? It's been a while since I've seen that, but what this thing is asking for is pretty similar.

I honestly have no idea, I looked up syncML and it looks sort of similar. I was hoping it was webDAV and careDAV though. That would be nice to have in a native way, but apparently android on the supports that for Google services?

If you mean CalDAV and CardDAV then there are third party sync adapters available:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dmfs.caldav.lib
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dmfs.carddav.Sync
I didn't try CardDAV but CalDAV sync I'm using already about half a year and it works perfectly, during all this time I didn't observe any issues at all. I'm using it with Kerio mail server.

Yes I found those in the play store with good reviews too.
This thing I am wondering about is likely the SyncML.

Flexmail 2007 Issue

Someone is having problem with this tool i think is perfect like alternative to Pocket Outlook but every time i send a message the receiver miss the BODY of the MAIL (like I'm sending just the subject) think has to be something in the setting but i try and no way to have this fixed.....thanks to everyone.....
i don't know what it can be. Try sending an email to yourself first that'll arrive on your phone.
Then try sending it to one of your web based accounts, and see how that works.
But i am guessing if it's going to a phone like yours, then it's probably on their end the problem is occurring. I have been using flexmail for a few weeks and no problems so far.
I use FlexMail on my 6700 and my 6800 without any issues.
Highly recommended!!!
i have this problem with Gmail on my mogul. i have it set up using the IMAP server, i'm not sure which end is having the problem. luckily i can just pull up IE and go to gmail and read the body that way.
edit: i'm not using Flexmail btw, but i heard this was supposed to fix this kind of thing ???
I've used Flexmail for a couple of years and must say it's by far the best email application available for the Windows Mobile platform.
Some of the best features are:
Support for HTML email
Support for Exchange, POP3, IMAP4
SSL, Socks, and Full Authentication SMTP Support
Rules engine to custom sort incoming email

Highly recommended, make for a much better email experience on your Pocket PC. (I use a Sprint Mogul -aka- Titan, with Windows Mobile 6)

MilkSync - Online Task list Manager

Just realised there's not much info floating around here about the awesome Remember The Milk task syncing app - I consider it a "must have" app for all my devices.
http://www.rememberthemilk.com/services/milksync/windowsmobile/
Basically it syncs your device task list with their online website, allowing you to keep track of things you need to do from any PC anywhere. The actual website is smooth web 2.0 goodness. Its free for 15 days and they then require you to upgrade to the pro version for $15 with additional features, but the free version is just fine (and I guess you can keep registering new accounts once the trial expires).
The app can be set to sync over-the-air manually or when cradled - or every 5/10/x minutes, so you don't have to worry about hidden data usage, and can be configured for 1 or 2-way syncing. Also, it doesn't mess up anything when you use the regular WM6 ActiveSync. The only catch is no proxy support.

PS. I dont work for them or anything, I just think its a kickass system.
They also have a ff plugin to integrate RTM with GMail.
I use GMail IMAP, RTM(MilkSync, FF Plugin, http://code.google.com/p/rememberthemoof/), and OggSync(calendar+contacts).
I wish they could develop a nice slick Windows Mobile app to use with the RTM service, just like they've recently done with the iPhone app.

Outlook Notes Mobile - Sync your Notes with Exchange

As far as I know, there is no free utility that syncs your Notes to your Exchange mail server directly. You have to cradle with your PC and then your PC syncs with Exchange. Or if you are a Smartphone user, you don't have a Notes application at all.
So I wrote an application to sync Notes using the Exchange Web Service.
Enjoy:
http://www.koushikdutta.com/2008/08/day-3-outlook-notes-mobile.html
I've only tested it across a couple different Exchange servers, and people's deployments vary quite differently, so I have no gaurantee that it will work for you! Lots of companies block access to the Exchange Web Service. Good luck!
Nice idea...
Does this sync exsisting notes or only the ones created with your application?
Existing notes (if they are on the Exchange server) will work as well.
Works nicely - few suggestions
1) support for hand drawn notes
2) Support for note sub folders in exchange
3) Auto sync on open/close of app?
4) GUI - would it be possible to replicate a notepad, much like the iPhone (See below)
5) Ability to delete notes from the WM device
Achieve these things and I guarantee everyone will replace windows mobile notes with your app - which in supporting exchange itself is already better than what is installed by default.
Hello,
does Outlook Notes Mobile work with Exchanger Server 2003? I keep getting WebException error....

Keep them coming !
I use iAgenda or tasksmanila (only for tasks).
+1 for thumbcal. Only one I've tried but it does everything I wanted it to... And as a graphics guy I like the ability to switch themes or customize your own.
Anyone have any comments about doing a "Getting Things Done" approach to Task/Time/Calendar Management with the TP2 ?
If so, comment on this thread.
Pocket Informant is a very powerfull PIM application.

yes for me its a great feature as I can keep business and home calendars separate as well as I also sync my wifes google calendar, so I know where the kids are! I haven't found another that will do it. there is a bit of setting up involved on the google end but it now works well.

[Q] Aditional google calendars don't sync...

Hello,
I don't know what's wrong with the synchronization of calendars with Nexus 4 (Stock ROM) but I haven't found a way to auto-synchronize additional calendars. I mean, apart from my personal calendar I have other additional calendars selected, named:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Except the personal calendar ([email protected]), whose synchronization works perfectly, the other additional calendars were synchronized only the first time I selected in the device (in the screenshot you can saw that are synchronized but them are not). To re-sync I have to remove and put them back by hand, every time ...
The web access to calendar shows all calendars perfectly well so the problem seems to be located in the Nexus 4.
Please, if anyone knows how to make this work, comment.
Thank you and happy new year!
I had the same problem. What worked for me was unchecking the additional calendars and left it like that for a day. A day later I re-checked them to sync and voila! magically they started syncing.

Thanks. I'll try...
