[TUTORIAL] Enable hover icon in Jelly Beans update

Hey guys,
I did a quick search on the forum and no one had put this up and since many wanted to know where did the tiny s-pen hover icon go once they updated their Note 10.1 to jellybean, I decided to put this up.
To enable the hover icon,
1) Open Settings
2) Go to S-Pen
3) Enable Air-View and select the text to edit options
4) Enable the check-box for "Pointer"
Now you have to pointer visible whenever you bring the s-pen close to the screen, just like in ICS.
PS. the pointer icon is not as nice as the ICS one but I think i came across a thread to help you change it but you need to be ROOT for it.
PPS. I am running 4.1.1 for those who want to know.
Thanks buddy was driving me crazy lol

Does it work while drawing in S note as well?

It works with all the applications. It just creates an icon whenever you bring the s-pen close to the screen. But once you press it on the screen, it will go away. They just made it as an "HOVER" icon
So yeah it will show the pointer until you press it on the screen. Miss the old hover one on ICS where it stays even after you press it on the screen

I believe you have to open the two apps in multiwindow, you want to add as a pair. Then click the little arrow at the bottom and chose the create option.
First open up an app up top then one on the bottom, then pull the multi window slider and you'll see you can have that feature similar to your picture.

That picture shows that two instances of the Internet Browser is open at the same time. Toggle Multi Window and then drag one app to the screen, then drag the same app to the top/bottom of the screen again. When you go back to your MultiWindow sidebar, you will get to choose which instance you want to use.

Honor 7 features

Top 9: Features of Honor 7 do you know
1) knuckles EMUI3.1 screenshots is a highlight function, using the knuckles, double-click the interception of the full screen, or draw a closed pattern intercepts all screens.
2) Rapid capture : Speaking of screenshots, I must mention the rapid capture, these two functions in EMUI3.0 already have. Under black state, double-click the volume down button to capture successful time in about one second, the focus imaging is also very clear.
3) drop-down at the top of the screen - Open the "switch" - Long press a switch will be able to enter the function settings interface is really practical and easy to do.
4) the main screen or blank screen, you can open the search function down, and it will list the eight most recently used application.
5) double-click function. In Settings - gesture control - Double-click to open.
6) painting the letters to open applications, experience super like it! For example, under the black screen, the screen will be able to draw the letter M to open the music it!
7) long press the navigation bar small box "key task", recently used application will switch turns friends. Before you find this feature yet?
8) want to clean up the background, but do not want to clean up all at once, a separate clean-up and too much trouble. Do not upset, I'll give you Weapon! Just slide down the application in recent tab list and clear, that slide down application will be locked
9) Speak to wake up Dear Honor !! I loved it...

Two things you probably didn't know about the Mate 8

I discovered these merely by accident and never knew about them before so others may find them useful too!
1. Press the multitasking button (square) to see your thumbnails of running apps. Now tap and hold on anyone of them to get straight to the app info page where you can do things like alter the notifications, check the storage and battery use etc .
2. Using the keyboard with word prediction, you are given a list of words to choose from right above the keyboard. If there is a word you don't like, don't use, spelled incorrectly or accidentally added to the custom dictionary, you can stop it from appearing again. Just tap and hold on the word you want to remove from the custom dictionary and a pop up window will show - confirming your decision.
Hope these help.

Ok , lets take 2 gestures
Open gallery you will find on top 2 tabs one is album and other is photos tab on photos you will find photos classfied according to date
Then if you slide down there with your finger you will enter to camera.
Another one in camera if you slide up you enter gallery.
Try.
Also in the Gallery app, go to Photos tab and you will see 4 columns of photos. Do a reverse pinch to zoom gesture and you will now see tiny thumbnails in 9 columns. Tap and hold one one of these super tiny thumbnails and you will see a small zoomed image of it and you can drag your finger all over the screen (maintaining pressure) to see more zoomed images as your finger passes over them.
Finally when viewing an image full screen, reverse pinch to zoom to get to horizontal scroll mode to quickly navigate to other photos.

How to use new AI camera

In the new thinQ update in camera settings it has a tab that says use QR code scanner on camera preview screen. What is this function and what is camera preview screen?I dont see anything on the main camera screen
A camera preview screen is the one you use to compose photos, i.e. the one you can see after camera start.
And this feature allows your phone to read QR codes (google for it if you don't know what they are...) right in the camera application.
It is available as a separate option because phone does not know if you want to take a photo of the code or actually read it and perform the action associated with it.

There is small "QLens" text next to the on-screen shutter button. Touch this "QLens" and then two new buttons appear below : "Visual Search" and "QR scan". Select QR Scan and there you go !
