{I9001} CyanogenMod 10 (Ivendor) weekly compiled by PsychoGame - Galaxy S I9000 General

Hello everybody,
Before I jump into the compilation proces and uploading my build I want to ask everybody first if anybody is interested in a weekly build CM10.
I know that Ivendor is not changing his sources every week, but the base of CyanogenMod is under constant development, so changes in the CyanogenMod source will be up to date again.
Let me know if you're interested by replying to this thread.
Also if theres enough interest in a build with kernel 3.0 inside I'm also willing to upload this image as well.
Because already one person replied I'm willing to share my compiled image. After all it's already compiled.
This build is compiled against ivendors sources on his Github and the latest CyanogenMod sources which were available.
Of course this image is already tested on my phone and everything seems to work like it did on Ivendor's last build.
Because Ivendors sources haven't been changed, this build still has the same bugs as his build.
To be complete the following:
- Vsync doesn't work, because the current kernel doesn't support this yet.
- Panorama shots
- Also mobile internet has a little glitch, which only appears to happen if you have a Pin locked SIM.
Solutions to this are:
* Setting the phone into Airplane Mode and back to normal. This should load the needed module.
* A more clean solution is to use the patch provided at: d-h.st/BgH This patch can be applied through CWM.
- Also camera view is upside down, but this is not noticable in the final saved image. (Don't know if this is a new or already known bug I don't use camera that much).
You can download my build from: mediafire.com/?m765ok5mtly7l6h
You have to copy the links into you're adress bar, because I'm not yet allowed to post outside links.
If anyone has questions feel free to ask.
Greetings PsychoGame

a weekly build would be nice
i don´t use the 3.0 kernel because of the not working camera
i hope it changes soon

Hereby I updated my thread and put in the links to where you can download my build.

Great idea. You can use 2 builds, one with 2.6 kernel, second with 3.x

it would be very great

More helpful changelog for nightly builds

I just started using nightly CM 10 builds (at the moment Dec 1 build which puts my cpu at 90+ % boo) and didn't find the linked changelog from the developer thread

very helpful at all regarding what's changed between builds.
in case it's helpful to someone else who doesn't know about it, here's one that is helpful that I dug up

yes you have to assemble the link yourself sorry.

FAQs:
Q: How do I flash the ROM?
A: Any recovery allowing ROM flashing should work. I am using OpenRecovery though.
Coming from Previous Version or if you want a dirty install:
1. boot into recovery
2. flash the Rom
3. reboot
Coming from Previous Version and if you want a clean install:
1. boot into recovery
2. do a full wife
3. flash the Rom
4. reboot
Coming from Any Other ROM:
1. Boot into Recovery
2. Do a full wife (format date, sysyem, preload & cache is the best)
3. Flash ROM
4. Flash Additional GAPPS if you want (GAPPS for 12.1 --> Slim_mini_gapps.BETA.5.1.build.0.x-20150812.zip)
5. Reboot
6. Don't restore system stuff or apps + data using Titanium, it might cause issues

Uploaded a new build (UNOFFICIAL_cm_find5-20150807.zip). Please flash this one. I have now made 2 radio properties persistent which allows for delayed SIM card detection and restarts RIL if needed. See the updated screenshots which shows the radio signal strength.

Hi I'm new here on XDA so if my postings are messed up.... you'll know why:good:
I just tried flashing this rom and I can report that gapps dosn't work or at least gives an error that some functions do not work.
I then tried flashing an updated gapps 5.1 but same error here.... I gues its more a gapps thing than the rom itself.
I couldn't find other errors that, and it seems very stable :good:
My current setup that works is this:
cm-12-20150802-NIGHTLY-find5
gapps-5.0.x-20150404-minimal-edition-signed

Here comes the feedback:
- Autorotation doesnt work. Maybe kernel related.
- Some lag and instability but this could very (most definitely) well be the bidji kernel. (Havent tested on stock kernel)
- Everything else works fine.
- Betterylife is fine, nothing crazy.
- Botton backlight works
Will test tomorrow with stock kernel a few minutes to confirm sone issues maybe. But I like the battery life of bidji kernel too much to not use it.
What does this rom do different compared to other cm like roms? I couldnt really find any major pros or cons. Just very cm like but not from cm I guess. I really hate that they have edited the default launcher with their own ugly app drawer icon and removed the launcher options. Luckily we have an appstore with other launchers. I will change rom to DU again probably because of the auto rotate (but button backlight doesnt work there if i recall correctly).
Still really loving all your builds to test compare and tinker with. And the new bidji kernel makes the tinkering and fiddling even more interesting . Hope this feedback helps.

Ik dank je voor uw feedback!
Autorotation: well still a mistery only DU is working, kernel is the same, so frameworks must be the culprit.
For the rest, I just jump into this project cause I found it interesting and different from others but i'm slowly think I was wrong.
Anyway, yes it not cm but device trees are so, bugs will remain mainly the same .
To be honest, not sure I'll keep on long time with this one except if users are happy
At least om my AFH I have some 30 downloads, in their basketbuild, 0...
Een prettige end of weekend!

(I lolled a bit because of you typing Dutch )
Tested again on stock kernel, same issues as before with auto rotate. Something to add why this is different compared to other roms: it is not so much in options but everything that is there is done well. Like all icons and stuff are all good and done and there are no wierd looking menus. So it is a very slick experience IMHO (except the boot logo ugh).
Cheers
Hello Guys,
With Metallium team members, we decided to make those builds "unofficials". This won't change anything for you, builds with remain the same with same quality and improve progressively.
This is a good team and i'm proud to build for them, last post from my dutch mate proves it.
Reasons why this change: i prefer to keep my liberty, to build myself, to post my builds where i used to post it, and so on. Furthermore, i'm official member of crDroid team and it takes me lot of time, and i want to keep the same quality for them too.
So expect new Metallium build at least weekly.
I wish you a nice evening.
Cheers,

The TWRP works fine and can unify the storage. The CM build posted on the oppo forums seems to work no worse than any other CM-derived rom. An LVM aware build of Dirty Unicorns would be awesome. I'm happy to test things because my Find 5 isn't my primary device anymore so I don't rely on it.

I am already running a CM version having LVM and its good apart from Auto rotate which seems to be a bug in CM12.
But another ROM with proper support would be awesome and feel free to get back to me to test the same
P.S: enabling selinux enforce by default seems to be a but flaky

Unfortunately, CM12 has the autorotate issue in all my builds except DU. So what i propose is, first make a test on metallium to see if LVM works then try to adapt to DU, new DU version should come within one day or two.
Thanks for your support.

Very good thing, I'm trying to build a CM13 rom from sources and I'm not sure if I have all required sources. For now I have, kernel sources with some "vendor" files from Sony and I found all build parameters like offsets/adresses and correct cmdline (no thanks to Sony because never released or mentioned them), the device tree dumped from my device, and I will dump the vendor tree too.
Now I need the defconfig for CM (very not sure if the stock one will work) , and some files like the boardconfig and some config files. I'm using the Elephone P9000 sources for sample, almost the same device (hardware side) and source files.
If I have some time I will try to upload files to git but I never tried before (sync only)...

Don't need to hesitate. I'll try to put the directions I've gathered here up today so it is done.
I finished to upload my files to Github:
https://github.com/rrvuhpg
You will find the device, kernel and vendor files to build CM13 for F3112/F3116. For now it will not work, it's just to share and help. I successfully built and booted the Cyanogen recovery with the kernel from sources, the doors for porting new roms are open?? :fingers-crossed:
My next step is to finish the device tree, verify the vendor tree and build the rom

Can you publish some brief preview?
Need to say the sources I had just seem to be down, so can't share them.
Through which Program are these to flash? If you're that far I can hold a look at it and may join in your development.
Verification of the Vendor Files is something I was not very good at it, not even a yolk I managed.

For now the only preview I can publish are the CM13 boot and recovery "as is", I'm not sure if it can help but I will release them if someone want to port others MTK Roms on XA. ( Never booted any ported rom with the stock kernel, stuck at Sony logo)
Flashing is easy: the recovery with fastboot and Rom/boot in a single flashable zip on the SD.
The kernel sources are coming from 33.2.B.2.95 open source archive from Sony but built from the lastest CM13 and Google git sources.
The vendor tree from 33.2.B.2.93 dumped from my phone, only common files with the P9000 are on my git for now.
The device tree from P9000 sources (from @Deepflex git) but seem OK.
CM13 have Android 6.0.1, I don't know if the security patch is the last one but August for sure.
I'm not so far from a finished build (not mean fully bootable), for now I successfully build a full CM13 for the Elephone P9000 (the twin of the XA, I'm using it as base). It mean my "kitchen" is working Now I'm trying to identify the last proprietary files from all others stock/cm13 libs, modify make files and cross my fingers it will fully build without errors.

It mean my "kitchen" is working Now I'm trying to identify the last proprietary files from all others stock/cm13 libs, modify make files and cross my fingers it will fully build without errors.

good work , but I am noob to create rom with kitchen .. only zip edit I know
Yesterday I successfully built CM13 for XA from sources
But news are not good, the CM recovery is fully working as expected but the rom is stuck just after the Sony logo (Mediatek screen with "loading...") like on my previous attempts to port other roms. The kernel built from CM kitchen do the same... I will upload my git and my rom to see if someone have an idea on the problem. Now I will focus on the "vendor" files, but I'm not sure if it's the real problem. Can it be a locked preloader/kernel or something like that?
EDIT: I think the boot problem is related to the defconfig file from Sony kernel sources, I will try to change some settings. (the door for adding kernel features :good

Love you!
I will buy this phone thanks to you :highfive:
Thank you for your work on our phone, it's very cool.
I would have helped if i could develop myself. If you need help get in touch with me i know some great devs who could maybe help you
any news @rrvuhpg ?
Yes I have some news but I want to create a dedicated thread for the CM13 project with updates, explanations and downloads to avoid off topic here. I am on holiday on next week and I will have time to work on it and give explanations. For now I'm stuck on boot because of Sony extra settings in the boot process, it's the first time I see a bootstrap and TA partition mount on a MTK device. If you know a dev for helping me passing the Sony part in the boot init it can be great
Other thing, I updated my git with parts of the update made by @Deepflex on the P9000 sources and my recent changes.

[ROM][7.1.1][UNOFFICIAL] unmodified LineageOS 14.1 nightlies

LineageOS for OnePlus3
Hi,
I'm offering unmodified LineageOS nightlies for our device. The builds should be online at around 4:00AM (UTC +1) everyday.
If you want a pure LineageOS experience you should probably give it a try. These builds dont have open beta blobs, oxygen firmwares or anything else included. You are free to flash firmware and modem though, I'm using Oxygen 4.0.1 firmware and modem and its working fine.
I'm not a developer and I won't fix any bugs. If there is a bug, wait for LineageOS team to fix it.
Changelog:
https://www.cmxlog.com/14.1/
Download:
http://webzukunft.de/lineageos/
Status:
OFFICIAL LINEAGEOS DOWNLOADS ARE ONLINE, I WONT POST ANY UPDATES HERE BUT YOU MAY FIND NIGHTLIES UNDER THE GIVEN LINK.
How to install?
1. Reboot to TWRP (I recommend using official twrp 3.0.3)
2. Wipe System, Cache and Dalvik
3. Flash ROM
4. Flash GAPPS (I recommend opengapps)
5. Reboot

There is already a thread for lineageOS nightlys: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/rom-lineageos-oneplus3-t3528972
I think we don't need two of them

This guy offers no up-to-date nightlies and MEGA is not everyone's choice to download from. Choose whats best for you.
Hi guys,
todays nightly is up and tested and running
Ive tweaked the build system so that nightlies are now available at 04:00AM (UTC +1)
have a good day
Dirty flashed without problems.
Only issue I have since weeks (with every rom) is that my camera is not working 100%. Either doesn't take pictures at all/ force closes or you have to trigger 3-5 times before a picture is taking

hi, Im facing the same issue. its not related to my build and seems to be a general custom rom 7.1.1 problem. thanks for your report.
Thanks for the build. Unfortunately with the latest 2 builds (16./17.1.) inbuild root is not working for me anymore.

Hi, thanks for noticing. I didnt notice it but you are right.
Option is missing in developer settings, too.
You can try flashing SuperSU zip to retain root again! Make sure to check changelogs, so you know if this has been fixed.
Apart from that, 20170117 is up,tested and running.
EDIT:
Ive checked the changes and it seems that LineageOS disabled SU extension by default. Builds can still be made with SU but it has to be done by the device maintainer. They said they are working on an SU extension for Lineageos.
For the time being, you have to flash SuperSU.
Thx for your hard work ... No one is updating .. this ROM on daily basis ... Except you ...
Any differences between this builds and Dianlujitao builds?

I actually cant tell if there is any difference. This rom is build from LineageOS official github source only. I think dianlujitao uses unmerged commits in his builds sometimes. Choose whats working best for you.
SU is back
Hi guys,
As there wasnt anyone voting for no root, I decided to build this rom with SU now. So any builds starting from 2016-01-25 are with SU. Enjoy root everyone!
Update:
Due to unexpected syncing errors some latest commits are missing in todays 2016-01-25 nightly. Ive fixed the issues and running a build now. Please check for a new 2016-01-25.zip later that day. Sorry for any inconveniences.
