No i dont have any friend in US and i dont have family there /: , any other possible way ?

Not sure how far from the border you are but your best bet would be to search craigslist of a border town/city. Other than that I'm not too sure what you could do since people within the US usually don't like shipping to other countries.

How much is it to ship to Mexico. I have an extra Nexus 4 16GB still sealed from Google that I'm willing to sell.

I can order one for you and ship it down there if you're willing to pay for it all, I won't charge any more than it costs me to send down there.
PM me if you want.

It should cost $392.94 for tax and shipping from Google. Then you add shipping fees to Mexico onto that. The wait time says 5-6 weeks at the moment.

I live in Mexico, and the only way I found to buy one is usa-address+usa CC, but because I not have neither of that, I was thinking in use entropay for usa CC and a family address for deliver, also was looking for negrielectronics but it is overpriced.

Where are you from? Wait time is "sold out".... they're not accepting new purchases being made.
Negri doesn't have inventory. still set on preorder

I bought mine in google play store, and it got shipped to my uncle's house in Texas. I think it's the only way. Or you can wait for Telcel and get robbed

Yes, telcel will bring it to mexico something like 10k mexican pesos with plan, dam is too high

[Q] Who want to pre-order from a non-available country?

I'm suffering, because i cant pre-order this "i think" awesome product..
who else is feeling the same.
Hopefully other retailers will sell these to the countries Google has over looked.
I doubt that there will be many for sale at reasonable prices on Ebay when they first come out.
I'm waiting for this type of tablet, why is the world so divided
Well count me in...
I was watching I/O and as they showed it I got more and more excited. Then they said where it will be available and I wanted to cry :banghead:

I want to order nexus 7 but in my country it is not available.
The retail market will sold it much more that the google's price... I think about 300 Euro or more. Will live and see...
Well in my case i used tor to access USA Play and change my shipping address to a mailbox on miami.
I preordered from Norway using my mastercard and an american shipping address that acts as a forwarding address to my Norwegian address. Jetcarrier.com. Ads around 25$.

Did you use a norwegian credit card or how did you get a us-one? I heard only cards issued in US, UK and Canada would be accepted.
Thanks
Tried different cards and Visa was not accepted, maybe because Mastercard is a Google Wallet Partner? Dunno, maybe it was just a glitch. Lets see if anyone else manages to order from an illegal location with a local card.
Well tried to preorder but got the unconfortable message stating that the device is not available in my country and that they are doing their "best" to make it possible as soon as they can. Which is I am guessing by the end of the year for 100 euros more in retail store. I'd really like to have the same price and treatment by buying directly from the play store but no official details on that either... That's complete bs. Why make such a global product so restricted for so many areas. my money ain't green enough I guess.
PS: apparently there are no official confirmations for a launch in Europe yet...
i really don't like that. i planned to instantly order one, because i waited so long for a 7inch tablet that's worth the money.
i'm pissed.
EDIT: probably we find some nice guys here at XDA who can buy and send us those awsome tabs? XDA Marketplace ftw?

I Ordered a Nexus 7 (16GB) with a similar Service as runemail. It seems they accepted my Austrian Visa Card.

How? Can you please describe it a bit more detailed? I'm from Austria too and want one.
What were the costs for the shipping and the service?
What will you have to pay in total?

I made an account at Borderlinx, they give you an US-Adress where google will send the device first, then they send it to you. I have to pay 280$ to google, and about 370 total, thats about 300 Euro which is not cheap but ok i guess.
@salv-ice
Yes i used Hotspot Shield.

For info, I just read on a french tech news site that Asus will distribute the Nexus 7 through it's own network (but no date announced yet) !
So we should find it in stores outside US / UK

New Galaxy Nexus $300

One of the Carriers here in Canada (Mobilicity) has started to sell the Nexus for $300 no contract .
Here is the link
Seconded - I am looking to get this deal.
I just have one concern - Like the SGS2, is this some sort of substandard model of nexus? It seems there is only one "Galaxy Nexus".
Confirm please and I'm sure many will be happy
This one would be compatible with AWS as well. Unfortunately Mobilicity doesn't ship anywhere, you have to collect the phone at a store. Who wants a 340 dollar (tax) GN shipped to them?

You can contact htcfan he is a active marketplace member who lives in canada

Oh come on.. I was at Canada 2 weeks ago (Vancouver).. lol.. damn it.. if it was $300 when I was there, I would have probably bought it. But $300 + crazy Canada tax and currency, it might be similar to Google Play I think?
Not to take the thread off topic (somewhat) but I just checked the Rogers site for a comparison sake of the price and the phone isn't even listed on there any more. I am shocked that they took it down while they still have the SII on their site. I guess sales must of been pretty bad if they took it down.
Yeah both Rogers and Telus have taken it down i guess people don't want to get a $600 device that sells for $300 and I doubt they want to sell a unlocked phone.
Also yeah I think you have to go to a store to get this I doubt they ship but hey it's a good deal for canadians who live in large metro areas
Picked one up.
It is unlocked.
They won't ship. You must get a plan with the phone, but since it is month to month I'm sure you can cancel in the first month. With tax and the first month of 25 dollar service it was 370 or so.
So the unit I got has that problem where certain shades of grey are purple tinted. As I understand I need to root to get it to 4.1.
Phone comes with 4.0.1.
Direct some questions if you'd like
Yeah it's a little more expensive then the play store one but in Canada they aren't sold in the play store.
Also yeah ours are on a NON Yakju build so you manually have to flash it over to receive OTA updates
No Thanks

Sale price is applicable only to new activations when customer purchases in advance, non-refundable 3 months of services on the $25 or $35 Back To School Plan (equivalent to $75 and $105 respectively, plus tax) and is on automatic monthly payments (preauthorized credit/debit payment).

Stores in the US selling unlocked N4?

Does anyone know of any stores in the US that will be selling the Nexus 4 unlocked (ie exactly the same as the GPlay version)?
Best Buy, etc? I can't find any info out on their website

T-Mobile is promoting the same unlocked version of the phone, and I'm pretty sure they will sell it unlocked and off contract in stores also, but then again, I don't know what the price will be since you will be in a "T-Mobile store" and they can slap any price tag on an off contract "T-Mobile" phone that is promoted through their network.
It's been predicted around $ 500.00
You are better off in Google Play Store
negri electronics has it on pre-order, they don't know when they'll ship though
price is $100 more than play store. seems to be the only option for anyone outside usa/canada at the moment
Thanks for your help, folks I can order off play store as I'm in the UK, but I'm visiting the US next week and the play store US dollar prices work out less than the UK prices, so I was hoping I could nab a bargain in store

Price is more of a seller than a warranty. The phone works out over £40 cheaper if I bought it at Play store prices in the US instead of the UK

I'm going out to Canada for a week at the end of the month, so I'm tempted to buy one over there too. I think there may be something that we can do in terms of sales tax too, but I don't know how this works and whether it's worth the hassle...
Anyone know how long it takes for something to be shipped and arrive from the Google Play Store? like 3-6 business days?

Want to buy Nexus 4 from AUS & want to ship it to USA. Possible?

I want to buy a Nexus 4 for me. Fact that I don't live in USA. My cousin lives in USA. So I want to ship it there. However, she can't buy it. Cause there is a technical problem in that. (She's my family member. If she buys it, she won't take the money from me. So can't do it)
SO I've a friend in Australia. He can buy it from me. So I want to ask a thing.. If he buys from AU Playstore can he ship it to USA?
somehow get her account number.. may be thru some other family member and transfer the amount b4 even ordering the fone.
Good luck

I doubt Playstore AU will ship to the US, but it can ship to your friend's home, then he ships it to you? Maybe $20 more or so, if you friend don't mind a trip to the post office.

Silly family! You have to have some member hidden somewhere, greedy perhaps, willing to let you pay using your money..
Thing about buying in aus is if for some reason you have the need to service or rma your phone in the future.. They only send replacements back to the same / original address.

Good luck getting one in Australia mate.
Been sold out since release day.
Google won't ship it directly. But if it arrives in Aus then just get them to post it to you. Extra few days and postage costs.
Silly me! Buying Nexus 4 is too tough! It should be easy like Amazon/Ebay. Even Apple is cool in this area. They don't match where the buyer lives & where he's shipping!

Mobile stores in NYC selling unlocked Nexus 4?

Hi!
I'll be in NYC on a vacation later this year (I live outside the US). I really want to buy Nexus 4 but I don't want to buy it from the Play Store because I'm not sure what the delivery options are. Since I'm a tourist I don't want to spend parts of a day in my apartment waiting for a courier.
So I think the solution would be to buy from a walk-in store in NYC. I need the phone to be unlocked obviously and free of contracts.
Can anyone recommend such a store?
Is T-Mobile selling no contract Nexus phones?
Thanks,
uh huh. quite the markup though. I believe they are running a promo on it for $50 on contract right now though, so I'm not sure how that's affecting tmo's supply if you're looking to be able to just pick one up. Lotta tmo stores in nyc though...

I'm not sure what you mean about the markup - I don't understand your answer .
It doesn't really help me that there a lot of Tmobile stores and that they're running a promo for contracts, because I was pretty specific about the fact that I live outside the US and looking for a non contract deal.
Also, I mentioned it'll be "later this year" so the fact that there's a promo now doesn't really say anything about the stock situation later this year.
Anyone with a good answer?
Thanks

The dude is on vacation to US and u r asking him to buy a US-based contract phone, where he will have to show himself as US citizen to purchase the contract-based phone and then pay monthly bills?
Way to go.:good:
Both the op and filthykid need to go and read ziddey`s reply because i understand it perfectly instead of being antagonistic to him.
He stated yes it is available but there is a markup so not the price in play store.
He said there was a current promo on contract phones so that may affect supply of non contract(he never said go and buy a contract)
He said there are loads of tmobile stores in NYC-so shouldn`t be an issue finding one.
As for later in the year- get a crystal ball.
Yes they do but they're like twice as much as they are on the Play Store. I'd advise purchasing it there for 350 USD. Don't buy them on eBay, Amazon, or Swappa because people sell them for twice the Play Store price to take advantage of people when Google's Nexus 4 inventory is empty.
