Google Play + Kindle Fire HD - 7" Kindle Fire HD General

Hi guys, finally I succeeded in installing Google Play on my Kindle fire HD 7"!
The only problem I got... it's that every application installed thru google play... remains in the google play application!
What I meant to say was... is there any way to link the apps installed thru google apps, on the Kindle Fire Home/Apps Page?
Thanks

Change default Appstore on Fire HD 10?

I have a rooted Fire HD 10.
I am running the Pixel Launcher, and try to use as many Android apps, vs Amazon Fire versions.
One issue I am running into is that when an app tries to redirect me to the Google Play Store, I get the following notification:
Continue to Amazon Appstore?
This app is trying to open a link with an external market that is not available on your device. Would you like to open this link with the Amazon Appstore instead? Now, I DO have the Play Store installed, and it works just fine.
Is there any way to get the links to the Play Store to open Google Play?

Download google movies for offline on Fire HD8 (2018)

Hello to the forum members, looking for a bit of help...
I have successfully installed the appropriate versions of google services and play store in order to get the Google Play Movies and TV app to be installed on the Fire HD8 tablet.
The issue: when I attempt to download items from my library for offline viewing, I get a google error statinging device not compatible for downloads. Has anyone found a workaround to this issue? My kids really like to have the videos for car rides, and I prefer to keep using the google store as opposed to the amazon store (for other devices).
Many thanks in advance.

Replacement of Amazon Prime Video app - Fire HD 10 (2019)

Hi all,
I bought a Fire HD 10 (9th Gen. / 2019). I have successfully installed the Google Play Store, Google Services etc. and with the help of Fire Toolbox V6.5, I have deactivated the Amazon apps.
Now I have the problem that streaming to my Chromecast is not possible in Amazon Prime Video, the icon or the option to stream to my Chromecast is not shown. Google Home is installed.
With the YouTube app streaming to Chromecast is possible without any problems, here the streaming symbol appears.
However, I can neither install the Prime Video app via the Play Store nor can I manually install the APK. There appears always the error message, that the installation is not possible.
When I go the system settings in the app area, the Prime Vide opp is still included, but with the status deactivated. And I suspect that the reinstallation is therefore not possible.
Is there a way to delete the original Amazon Video app and replace it with the version of the Play Store?
Thanks in advance,
Grisu

You cannot delete this pre-installed Amazon Video app in /system/priv-app/com.amazon.avod folder unless this device is not rooted.

Thank you for your answer.
Is there meanwhile a way to root (temporarily) a Fire HD 10 (2019) which has version 7.3.1.1?
All of the instructions I found refer to 7.3.1.0 with the hint that rooting under 7.3.1.1 will not work.
Thanks,
Grisu

Hi,
Did you ever find a solution to this?
I need to sideload the play store version of the app, but can’t as the Amazon version is there. Albeit disabled.

hd10 (2019) Get Amazon Video and other over Google play

Hi, is there anyone else uses the new Fire HD10 2019, deboated and with Google Apps installed?
I couldn't stream HD Videos from Amazon Play to my chromecast. Which works fine from my other (Samsung) tablets.
So i decide to install amazon video app from Google Play, but that doesn't work for me.
Does someone remove (i guess it's a system app on the HD10) and reinstall that app from google play?

Amazon Prime Video was installed on a system app that you cannot delete this unless device isn't rooted.
Following.
There has got to be someone that has de-bloated and still has amazon prime video and kindle books working.
