Why are All DEV fighting with each other.

I don't UNDERSTAND,why are dev fighting with each other. I thought this community was for dev s helping each other to make X 10 the best. All I see here is cry babies. Dev's means developers n I thought they would be more professional rather than cutting each others throat. Why can't they solve any issues via PM n not posting it publicly. It creats war among so called Fan Boys. I m a regular visitor n all these fight makes me laugh. For me ACTION IS BETTER THAN WORDS. For everyone's sake. DEV'S BE PRO'S N NOT HO'S.
I can see this thread is getting out of control and by no means i wanted ppl to get out a control. But i can definitely see we as a user for any rom have the right to say when we feel we been look down to?

Edit:When i first started visiting XDA i was really impressed by all the dev and members who helped me.. Just to personally thank rendeiro2005 i post 10 post in general forum and then thanked him in his dev thread.. i will give credit to all the rom developers whose ROM i have used. Thanks dev for ur great ROM and help and support. First J ans Z and Binary and rdannar,jerpelea,Wolfbreak,rendeiro2005,DooMLoRD,cobrato,achotjan, AND DEFINATELY THE LEAST TRIP.. PLZ KEEP SUPPORTING US AND PEACE BE UPON YOU... and erikwill plus alll the other dev and mixer who help us get the best out of X10

To be honest I don't take sides... I like all the ROms n I like every one of our DEVS. They all do this in there own time n no one pay them to do this for US. That's why I admire there works..I was not talking specifically abt any one dev at all. I have seen it time n time again. There was a similar sort of fight ages ago n one of our dev was yelled at that time just cause he used something. Now the same dev is giving it back to other Dev's. All I wish is for them to Wrk together and be a true DEVELOPERS ...

No one was yelled at. He was asked to give credits to the devs who actually developed the files OR delete it. He probably misunderstood that, so he left for some time. I admit I don't know what went on via PM, so i don't take sides either.
Anyway, all of the devs agree that there's no longer bad blood between them, so please just don't start that topic again.

Mostly users just being nasty and trolling and ranting for nothing.

One individual makes sure to come in and freak out in any dev/rom thread that resembles his own in any way..

JUST another publicity stunt..............

Who is fighting? I read the whole Story and theres a reason Trip,zdzihu or jerpelea doesnt collaborate with eachother. So its not like Trip doesnt share becouse he wants all the Fame just for him theres a Reason they dont collaborate. They are all very good Devs so dont matter if they work together or not they will make something amazing for X10 and thats what is important.

What is the reason?

Can someone please post a flashable of the latest ME update? Maybe I am spoiled by the EVO community but, man, it feels like it takes forever for stuff to happen around here. No offense meant to the devs as I can't do any better. Starting to think I need to learn how to do this stuff myself.

No Offense but I agree with the latter comment...I like your themed rom but I think we need a little more considering I am a FLASHOHOLIC..And I own an EVO3D!!! There seems to be no devs in here developing for our #1 Tablet...SCREW IPAD!!! We have the GALAXY!! (with very little development)..Again NO OFFENSE to the 3 devs we have working on our lovely tabs.."Im just sayin"..

I agree with us needing more developers here in our forum. But the tab is still really new. Just gotta give it a little time and let some more devs pick up a tab. I'm actually going to develope the latest update. You might actually like it.

If you guys really want to spur development, start a thread raising funds to buy a tab for one of the devs. The fact that they do any of this at all is something we should all be grateful for. Remember that all these guys doing this stuff for free in whatever free time they may have ... and aren't asking us for anything in return.

I've seen posts from a lot of different phone threads where ppl would post questions and no one ever answers them lol I'm glad its not like that over here. We have a lot of amazing ppl that are always around to help anyone they can which is great and the ppl that have this phone are the reason I don't wanna new phone lol

Heh, yeah the EVO forums look just as bad. Tried to get an easy root solution my GF could do to her mom's EVO and it was so unorganized and full of flamers as well. Was afraid to ask for help there. I just mentioned here and got 10 helpful responses instantly. I can only hope and pray that a new GS3 keyboard phone comes out that the majority here move to.

If anyone deserves it, you do! Congrats!

This forum was pretty bad before TheScottsman & Deca came and cleaned it up. Impaler was a great mod as well. Glad I stuck through the bad times and didn't jump ship to a newer phone though. It seems like quite a few of XDA's subforums are troll wastelands.

I'm not trying to force the Devs into anything, or try to pressure them, I've simply opened this thread to see who thinks that it would be a good idea, if anyone is offended by this post, or thinks that they should try to flame me for it, then basically, you can get F****d. I've got a lot of respect for the Developers of the Galaxy SII and I know and beleive that they have the right to both their own opinions and their own choice.
I was looking through Samsung Galaxy S III section of this forum, to see what's going on around there and in the development section members were talking about how the developers of the HTC HD2 all came together and built ROMs as a team and ported Android and Windows Phone 7 OS together.

Basically, what I was thinking, is why don't WE do that? have all or some of our developers work as a team to create something amazing? I know it's a long shot, but I think if it were to happen then I don't personally think that there will be many things that our phones won't be able to do.
If you guys could just post or vote on the poll with your thoughts/queries, I'd really appreciate it so I can get an idea of just how many people think it'd be something that we should or shouldn't do!

HD2 had WM6.5 and we have android
Porting android on it would have been easier than posting WP7 to our phone because android is open source and WP7 is closed

It a poll to tell the Developers to DO anything or give anybody any hope, as the opening post says, I just wanted to see how many people thought that it would be a good idea, not because I want to force any of this in the Devs faces, if they want to do it then I personally would love it, but like I said, I'm not trying to push them into anything, I have simply opened the post for my own purpose to see how many people think it would or wouldn't be a good idea

Btw, you may have omitted a "not" in the first sentence, unless you really are telling the devs what to "DO" (your capitals..).
My point is that since you're not telling the devs to do anything, what does the poll achieve?
For example, 300 people think it's a good idea. Then what? The same if 300 people say it's a terrible idea - so what?
As jj said, the devs decide, and they rarely post on this sub-forum.

A better idea would be for you to learn how to code & then either develop the things you'd like to see for the SGS2 yourself/with other developers in one of these 'teams', or link up with current devs & work on the projects they're currently involved with.

I have no girlfriend & I have a severe fungal infection on my scrotum which makes my balls itch incessantly. As a result, I scratch them quite frequently. Interestingly enough, I seem to be thinking of my phone whilst temporarily relieving the prickliness most of the time.

How about assisting villian for B2G first I say. Then see if we can port other stuff. I am not sure on what the request is here anyway? Is it to port SGSIII firmware to SGSII or another OS to SGSII?

Just want to say that I've been talking to Team RemICS (people who made RemICS-UX) and they're currently working on what they're calling RemICS-JB.......once they get it ready and we get a stable enough JB base, I'll port it over and we can enjoy it!

Sheeeeit, really? I'm stoked. As soon as someone figures out how to fix the camera we'll all have JB for good! Haha. Then google will send an OTA update the next day.

A friend of mine just got the SG3 and it was pretty funny to see his reaction to my phone. Mainly because he just upgraded from an EVO and knows nothing about rooting, roms, or modding.

Seen it. But you can always just pull the .apk from this if you wish to apply it to another rom

That's correct BUT don't forget to push libalbumframework.so to the system/lib folder too or else you'll get a FC or it might not even show up in the app drawer

To answer your question Hipkat if wish to call it that, this thread is for day to day discussions such as talking about the ROM in general....sharing screenshots, comparing setups, battery life...things like that! The ROM thread is for actual development! YES it may have a post or two that someone decides to post on there that isn't 100 percent related to development BUT it helps the problem of having a 200 page thread with about 50 pages of "check my screenshots yo" or "what kernels do you guys think I should use"
If you have a big issue with this or you're just mad because you didn't come up with it first, hit that triangle and tell the moderators how I'm such an EVVVIILLL guy and I need to be put in my place before I take over the world!!

I really wish Touchwiz still had the option to do the Holo style app folders stacking. I know there are other launcher options but I really like the Touchwiz UI.

Mazda this has been a rom I've stick with now for quite some time. Its also the daily on my wifes evo. Which is strange cause I used to flash about 2 diff roms a day.
Anyways...can we expect any more development with this? Not sure what else you could do, its pretty much great as it sits....but is v1.3.1 pretty much final?
I'd like to see Google now, now with the working voice incorporated in...maybe Google ears as well...just trying to throw some ideas out there.

NO v1.3.1 isn't the final.......I'm working on CM10 and also waiting to see what Team RemICS does here in the next few days and I might incorporate some new features, just depends on which way they're headed and how much time I got

I use to like this rom on my evo, then I got a sg2 and I hate tw(idky).
But still, a great job on it Mazda and team dirt.
